| Forum Index Redesign The forum index has been given a bit of a facelift, along with some new functionality. You can check it out here. The design has been changed so you can preview two threads per board, to get a better overview of the topics being discussed in each. A right-side panel has been added, which shows the most popular (recent) threads and a selection of recent posts in all boards, the anime series boards, and the manga series boards. The forum moderators are also listed at the end of the page, and their online status will be indicated (depending on the opacity of the forum avatar). We hope that you'll find the new index both visually appealing and a better overview of what's happening on the forum. Forum Quotes/Mentions You will also now be notified when a user quotes/mentions you on the forum only. This has been a long requested feature, especially with all our recent forum changes, so we hope you'll enjoy it! Quote: Kineta said: This is a quote. | Is this going to be just like the thread about the new profile re-design, The new layout kind of made me dizzy from just seeing it. Hope you add a feature where users are able to change it back to the previous design! Was the forum moderators part really necessary though |

| Honestly its really ugly and cluttered with the index. Its one of the worst design I have ever seen on a website.. I see no new functionality only several pages worth of stuff crammed into the space of one. The quote notification is nice but Im not sure how well it is working yet. I have been only notified once so far but maybe this was only tuned on fairly recently today not earlier in the day. |

| New design looks good but a bit messy. The new feature is really neat, I hated checking on a few threads over and over again just in case someone quoted me or replied to me, so that will definitely make things easier. Keep up the good work! |

Once again, you have re designed a part of the site without asking for feedback, aka "something that is essential for maintaining a good relationship with the site's users" (oh yes, Comic_Shitposter also knows how to use big words!). I've seen people asking over and over again asking for a "Switch back" option and a thread where you provide us a picture of what the new update might look like in the future and ask "what do you think about this update, do you want this or not, etc?". Instead, you've been forcing these updates on us without asking for our opinions first and then, whenever someone or a lot of people complained, replied "look you whiny ungrateful pieces of shit, we got the power and we're not going to update back, so deal with it!" (Not literally, obviously). We waited THREE months without hearing anything from the team before we got the new review sorting option as a replacement for the "Not helpful" button (which isn't working, by the way, and the review section is worse than before), you chose to dismiss pages and pages of negative feedback when the new profile update came, you added an X characters minimum rule and have so far completely been ignoring the fact that it didn't help at all and that the spam actually has been INCREASING, and now I am most likely going to be ignored because "OMG SO WHINY" The users should also try to maintain a good relationship with the staff, but the same goes for the staff. This is NOT trying to maintain a good relationship with the users. And so, I say "Start listening to your users' negative feedback, give us a "Switch back" option and rant over" With that being said, I like the new quoting/mentioning system and inbox update. |

This is NOT trying to maintain a good relationship with the users. And so, I say "Start listening to your users' negative feedback, give us a "Switch back" option and rant over" With that being said, I like the new quoting/mentioning system. You guys should see AF. At least they update here! Legit, animeforum updated its chatroom that only staff/site vets use over updating the site. I'm not disagreeing with you nor agreeing, but you'd like mal staff more if you posted in that hellhole. |

Besides the notification does not actually update live I think., unless they changed it It only shows up on page reload. So having it open on new page wont be much use. |
