| Looks like both sides have a small army which means the next couple of episodes should be interesting. Freya familia seems certain about their victory at least that's the way they are behaving but we will see how things go. As for Bell and the rest of Hestia familia they are getting a lot of help seems Freya pissed some people off and Hestia has more connections than we thought. Well looking forward to the war game. |
| Freya decided to just declare war and has Bell as the ultimate prize. Honestly, Bell didn't have much choice than being involved in this since Freya commands so much power. It feels like this was coming eventually after what she did and all the buildup. It truly does feel like we're getting the climatic episodes coming soon. And it's good to know that Hestia is on Bell's side after all this. |

Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.  |
| Some good, some bad. The animation was pretty meh on most scenes with a crowd but I suppose they're saving some budget for when the action actually comes. As for adapting the beggining of vol18, They did a good job showing who's present and how the sides are lining up but I think they shouldn't have cut the entire conversation between Royman and Finn. They simply kick too much plot and down the road. And well...what they did with the Ais scene...she doesn't even get a word of dialogue. She's simply a plot device in the anime at this point. Freya looking as regal as ever. I can say a lot of things about JC Staff's efforts, but they never spare any expense in making her look hotter than the Sun |

| When they said that would be a Hide-and-Seek, I thought that would be in Orario, looking for Freya that is a illusionist/shapeshifter. But the concept is more steal the flag, than anything else. Was nice everyone coming together. |

| Given how much the guild needs Loki and Freya familia's its a given that they won't want them to fight. Won't stop individual members from helping in other ways though. With the cloak Lili really looks like a master strategiest. That was some speech that she gave though. The last scenes really upped the tension to fever pitch. Can't wait to see the war game get animated proper. |

| The war game itself being a tough hide and seek with elements of a battle royale thrown in does sound like a fun mixture that should make for an entertaining fight with the allies against the Freya Familia. The only drawback was that the Loki Familia was barred from competing due to the guild's interference, which was a shame. Either way, at least some members of the Loki Familia were still allowed to assist in the preparation for the war game itself, like with Finn helping out Liliruca for example. Speaking of which, her speech towards the allies was simple, but very effective. She done herself proud already. =) A very good build-up episode for what's to come. This will be very tough for Hestia allied army, but here's hoping that they can pull off a win against Freya. |
| Freya just can’t let go man just give it up you’ve been beat this war game is pointless lmao 😂 this is setting up to be an amazing second half though. Essentially a battle royale with the grand prize being Bell’s affections. Really excited to see Bell’s new abilities and all the inevitable tricks that Freya has up her sleeve in this one. Also hoping Horn can make a full recovery. Lmao at Freya just keeping Ais away out of pure jealousy rather than actually being scared of Bell getting stronger. For all her wisdom and experience, when it comes to loves she’s nothing more than a spoiled child with rapey tendencies who can’t even properly reason or use logic. Being that way with all her powers though is scary. Lili’s speech gave me chills. Her development has been in the background, but really proud of how far she’s come from the girl who used to rob people in dungeons to know galvanising damn near the entire town. |

ngl, freya familia's all dripped out and their aura is just off the chart. also strength-wise, it's no surprise. I'm guessing they will just blitz most of the allied army, ottarl and the main force are too broken. seems like the next eps finna be cinema, can't wait!!!  |

| Basically a buildup episode for the War Game which is beginning in the next one, but it was definitely necessary so the rules could be established and show who all the players are, and it was awesome to see Hestia amassed so many to her side, it’s just unfortunate that Freya’s familia may just blast through all of them kinda quickly lol, I don’t want that to happen but they are that busted. The worst thing about this situation tho is that Loki’s familia were not allowed to participate, yeah I get it power balance yada yada but it really is a shame, I feel like when one of your top goddesses goes and does as bad as Freya has there should be things allowed that wouldn’t be typically, but I guess this does keep things more interesting at least. But there are some benefits to Hestia’s side, they only have to find one goddess while Freya’s familia has to find many, and Cassandra’s prophetic dream this time is sounding good for once, hopefully she’s right. And Lili’s speech was definitely a nice way to hype up the coming battles, great moment for her, it was thanks to Finn that she was able to say what she said but it still came from her mouth, I say she did a fantastic job rallying the boys to whoop some ass. And lastly, damn I can’t help but be sus of some of these backgrounds ever since I saw people talking about that maybe-AI house a few episodes back, I really hope not but if it is they’re at least cleaning it up good so it’s hard to tell, really wish there was no usage of it at all tho. |

Would of ended then and there if that angry mob just killed her like Ishtar. This story really wrote itself into another hole. |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |

Like, I get it, people are just seeing what Freya did and reacting to that but the guy is seeing the bigger picture, the Black Dragon that destroyed Zeus and Hera Familia, the one Orario will soon have to fight.
Orario needs Freya and Loki Familia, so the guild can't afford having them kill each other in the War Game. Besides, worse case scenario if Hestia loses is that Bell joins Freya Familia... Hardly a downside.

| @Siegfried10 That's interesting but some things still dont make much sense to me. Ok, so like, why can't just Bell refuses to join her family? What she'd do? Fight and kidnap him? But then they can't have big families fighting and killing each other already thats why they settle disputes in the War Games to begin with, right? Or I thought so? So why can't Loki and Hermes and all families in Orario join in the War Games since they want to? it clearly has rules so the parties don't kill each other, they're even making it a hide'n'seek for this one. Ganging up on Freiya would at least remind her there's consequences to violate people's memories... also if war games are specifically to settle disputes why she didnt start with it? so instead of winning an easy fight against hestia and kidnap him, she tried to harm an entire city and then kidnapping him anyway... Thus giving hestia more allies to fight her later... Her own actions make no sense. Actually, with the way she chooses to disregard the rules even when it helps her in her goals in order to harm the entire city instead... Why would anyone believe its just being done for Bell? And what else could she be doing with it that wouldnt harm whatever future prospect of fighting the dragon, without them ever knowing or remembering about it? Isnt a family of many level 5+ loyal to a mindwashing reckless unrepentant goddess that no one can trust more of a threat than an ally to count later on? Shouldnt arguing over those things should be the way for this story to go now instead of whatever else this episode was? Idk was enjoying this season more than i expected until this epi and now... no matter how much i think about it feels like its just forcing some "underdog battle royale" plot where it doesnt fit, which is kind of a let down. |
