Which is your favorite?
Started with Love Live!, but have been a fan of imas for years. Ultimate idol experience. This reminds me that I need to buy new headphones to brighten up my world whenever I go outside. |

| "Favorite idol series?" Nothing outside of Macross. Usually those start well, but it's a fake hype bump...soon they become really really boring. Even the idol-mecha mixed shows like AKB0048 tend to do that. |

Nijigasaki have stong Yuri. Probably the strongest talking and depicting a romance between two females It's so gay and so fabulous. Like an Idol should be IMO. The latest season of LL Nijigasaki is maybe the best IMO and suits my personal taste very well mostly because of the sweet delicious Yuri Is this a problem for you? | IDOLiSH 7 is my favorite that I've seen, at the moment. Though I also found Starmyu hilarious just for the random singing (it was so funny when the characters would just... randomly break into song! Made me cackle every time! x'D) |

I don't even know who fucking Belfast is, to be honest. I watch a lot of anime over the years, after all, maybe I just like the picture and didn't give it much thought. LOL I actually like some lesbian fan art even if the characters are not gay in the anime. Like Sakura and Hinata from Naruto  And you seem to be very desperate to deny they are lesbians' in LL for some reason =P So this is my fantasy? No there was a lesbian love story in LL Nijigasaki and those are pictures from that episode and not fanart |

Overall, I'd probably say Love Live has the best balance (especially Sunshine) and delivers the complete package where it counts. | Actually, i've only seen four franchises: Love Live with all of its generations, 22/7, Zombieland Saga and Backstreet Girls: Gokudolls. Enjoyed all of them, recently laughed hard with the last one even if it was way too short and of course it wasn't a straight up idol show. Didn't think any more about 22/7 since a long time at this point, giving for granted that season 1 will never be continued especially after some seiyuus graduated. Zombieland Saga is epic, mixing absurd comedy moments due to obvious reasons involving the main cast with well done serious scenes and arcs, even i'm sort of concerned about what's gonna happen in the movie on the horizon. However, Love Live and μ's especially as a group are still the best for me considering they were the gateway series for the entire idol genre and i was already 30/31 when i decided to give them a chance. Seriously, i even have a character that isn't even a main cast member as profile picture on Myanimelist. Even after three more generations of new groups, i still adore them the most for everything and everyone (music, plot, seiyuus), and it's not that Aqours, Nijigasaki and Liella were disappointing... Aqours has also wonderful seiyuus like every generation and got some great touching moments, Niji girls were a welcome nice different take with them being solo idols and Liella became more interesting after adding four more members. |

| Nothing beats the OG Idolm@ster. But Love Live Nijigasaki is a close second. I kinda hate that Love Live is more popular than Idolm@ster, especially the worse shows like Superstar and Sunshine, but at least it got the Nijigasaki Spin off which ironically clears the entire franchise lol. |

| My favourite anime that happens to be idol is Full Moon wo Sagashite, but the anime I think embodies idol energy the best is Aikatsu. Zombieland Saga is great too, but not as good as those two. |

Idols overall are very popular in Japan, but overseas barely anyone cares. That's why Idolmaster, Love Live, Bang Dream and others received so many seasons and movies. Symphogear as well, despite season 3-5 bwinf exact same thing. |

| I really personally like Zombieland Saga, also personally really like, Symphogear. Although I haven't watched much from the genre, Also kind of like Macross although I haven't seen much from the franchise aside from the first entry and Do you remember love, as of now. |
| Idol series are not really my thing but I have seen a few of them...and attempted to watch more. My favorite series by far is Kami Kuzu Idol, it is so funny and wholesome I ended up watching the entire series in one day. The only complaint I have is that the 10 episodes was too short. |
