Seems like this episode shows the achievements of the characters up to this point. Yuno makes a big impression as expected. They still share their usual friendship/rivalry as usual though. | Cool episode! Damn, the Black Bulls actually made it to second place! Lots of distorted body figures and poor animation shots throughout the episode though, I wonder if they’re just saving up for the upcoming battles to come. I was expecting a shocker, given how it was going, but I didn’t think it’d be the Black Bulls, of all the squads. Magna’s reaction, with the glass shattering, was absolutely hilarious! Why did they skip out of Finral’s hookup? It would’ve been hilarious to see the girl agreeing to go for the date as soon as the results were out, but well seeing Silva and the other Nozel’s reactions was more than enough. Cool entrance for Asta too, I would’ve liked to see some more time spent on the whole buildup scene with some slow music and such but too bad there wasnt anything of that sort. Asta and Yuno scenes were really pleasing to see too. Yuno really does keep a very eye on Asta, doesn’t he? Him releasing all of his powers though knowing that Asta wouldn’t have too much trouble fending it off was pretty cool and bro-like. Lol @ the King’s introduction though, seriously why doesn’t the Wizard King take over the throne for real? Anyway, Asta and Yuno survived a close call away from execution there, phew. Pretty dope announcement though, and lol Julius probably took away the final credit too. Looks like the new Vermillion Captain is a frightening lady, completely different from what I expected judging from the ED. Looking forward to seeing how things go on from here onwards! |

| I think I enjoyed Asta's manga entrance better (how it was drawn anyway) but this was still solid. Still feel bad for Kaito. Asta nearly getting himself (and Yuno) executed was hilarious (especially Yuno's reaction to it). The best arc is coming up so I'm excited. |

| The king is hella lame, lmao. Really satisfying episode, the Black Bulls climped up the ranks, as expected. Almost as good as Asta and Yuno putting on a little show for the citizens. Hyped for the upcoming exam, hope Gordon can finally show what he got. Mereoleona showing her true colors caught me off guard, tho. |

The king turned out to be a complete useless tool. I hope he either gets faded out of the story or is replaced. Of course the new captain of our flamey bois turns out to be a total prick when the last captain seemed like a stand up guy. |
| I am proud of Black Bulls for getting 2nd place in ranking, everyone's reaction was funny, no one expected that coming, also Black Bull members got shocked! Was so satisfying see Noelle's siblings reactions for Noelle's squad getting 2nd place! Demonstration of powers from Yuno and Asta was so cool, Yuno attacked Asta with full power knowing he would hold it! Their relationship its still the same, glad for that! King's appearance was interesting, no one cares about him, and i understand them, Yuno and Asta almost got executes xD Royal Kinights is really a fantastic idea, and knowing that will be a tournment for entering in that squad i am getting exchited, so much hype for that tournment! Curious to meet Fuelgoleon's elder sister, Meleoleona! |

| Ok. So my theory of it being a cumulative process rather than a total was correct, at least wasn't too on the nose though -with the Black bulls coming in at second. An alright episode, nonetheless and I'm looking forward to these exams... it'll be an interesting arc, to say the least; but I'm really intrigued as to how the story will develop beyond the eye of the midnight sun, will there being another overarching villain, or is this group the biggest thing. A lot of questions, so I can't wait. |

I would recommend reading from the start to enjoy the story and appreciate the art that the anime never really able to replicate.. but its up to you. Hmm.. | I absolutely love all of those reactions when everyone heard that Black Bulls came in second place! The haters can fuck off, especially the Silver Eagle's royalties! Since Black Bulls started with a negative point, they got the second place instead of the first. If they start off on zero, then the Black Bulls will surpass the Golden Dawn in terms of stars gained!!! Wow, Sekke is being a complete asshole by shitting gon Yuno and Asta despite the fact that they're the rookies who gained the most stars! Yuno handled it well when all the other people started to doubt their competence as a magic knight, by showing off both Yuno's and Asta's powers! The Royal Knights huh... This seems fun! |
