They have to stay motivated. However, I like how this episode is more zombie centric with its character themes.

Glad to see Junko and Ai getting more spotlight. I wonder if this season will follow a style where every one of the main cast get more character focus than others. Everyone working hard to improve the group is quite motivating.

Damn, the revenge in this season ain’t for nothing. Last two episodes have been a much darker character arc for Saki, Junko and Ai. That ending sequence :/ cliffhanger for next week.

I really enjoyed this weeks episode! I like that this episode is focusing on Junko and her internal dilemma. I am happy that Ai is getting more attention as well, I feel like she always did more than we thought and I like that they focused on that this week.

I'm loving the progress!

Kotaro always finds a way to harass the girls with something. This time, Saki wasn't able to punish him.

The legendary Tae and Sakura strike again with those funny scenes.
Junko's singing was stunning!! She should find a chance to sing more.

If Ai can't perform on the same stage as Iron Frill because someone might recognize her, just making her wearing a mask as a mysterious idol instead. And no one will able to recognize her for sure. 😁
The war between Iron Frill and Franchouchou began. In my opinion, Ai will not go anywhere, she will stay with Franchouchou, they're like her family. I've been wondering what Franchouchou will perform to impress the audience and how they will improve their skill within a short period of time. It could be a hellish training.

Franchouchou depends a lot on Ai’s leadership and when Koutarou announced she would only be promoting herself, it seems the group kind of crumbled. With Junko as the current leader of Franchouchou, it seems she’s struggling to amount to what Ai has to offer. What made matters worse was when she eavesdropped on the conversation between Ai and Iron Frill’s current lead. Junko’s spirit shattered. Wonder how Franchouchou will overcome this obstacle. Looking forward to next week.

I think this is the first cliffhanger on the series. But I love we get to how they managed their problems. Ai and Junko are so in sync. Love the combination.

Oof, and Ai got recruited into Iron Frill. But that will never happen. I want to see how they beat Iron Frill. Franchouchou is still the best.

This just shows that Ai's still got it, even as a zombie haha The girls shouldn't worry cause it's not the popularity of a top idol group that Ai wants - it's to reach those heights with Franchouchou!

While the stuff with Junko and Ai was deep in this episode, my big highlight was Tae lol. From the eye rolling to the fly, to the water fountain, beating of the drums, to basically tug of war with Romero. Stay forever precious Tae.

Can't wait for our Saga idols to light up the Iron Frill show. Feels like Kotaro is trying to get the others to grow and show their own unique talent by removing Ai from the upcoming performance.

Never thought that I'd be sooo invested in an idol show.
Out of all the other shows this season I would say zombie land Saga and combatants will be dispatched are the ones I most look forward to

Kotaro separated Ai from the group which I believe to be in an effort to help them grow and not rely on her too much.

Junko is being too overdramatic for me after being named the de-facto performance leader. Even if she was solo and from a long time ago, she was still a professional and should know what looks good and what doesn’t.

Also, Ai’s arms were way off-model in the scene where she and Kotaro were arguing in the room.

Solo was great. Junko did very well.

Hmm...well it's hard to switch the idol group if you're technically not alive anymore...but the offer is no surprise I guess...

So Ai's been forced to perform solo to allow the others to grow and not rely on her too much. Sure, I guess that works, but I'd have thought it would have come up well before now and Kotaro's stated reasoning for it is definitely contrived (albeit intentionally); the subplot with those news reporters potentially recognising the girls still hasn't progressed in the slightest despite it obviously being intended as a threat to Franchouchou's operations. Tae's plotline also hasn't progressed whatsoever, though at least she's continuing to deliver great comedy on the side to offset it.

Also, what's the point of this drama with the Iron Frill girl trying to make Ai join the group, and Junko getting upset about it? The very premise and set up of this show means that it outright can't go anywhere, so it'll obviously be used to reaffirm Ai's bonds with the rest of the group, but no doubt we'll have to slog through some melodrama where Junko gets angry at her over it first and makes a big scene about it.

They really want Ai to join Iron Frill again, her fate is really to be in it xD But well because of that Junko is depressed and it's worse now, I'm sure Franchouchou will deliver the best performance ever against them and that Ai will be proud of them and stay with Franchouchou, at least I hope.

I really enjoyed the episode, it had moments of comedy mixed with serious tones. This makes sense considering the whole premise of this season was to resurrect their idol careers. Franchouchou depends a lot on two people, Ai and Junko. I'm sure that's the reason why Koutarou made the big decision in separating Ai from the group, such as a star from an idol group would normally do. He knew everyone greatly depended on her leadership to guide them. If someone gets too dependent on something then it could show in their overall performance.

What made the situation worse was when Sakura and Junko eavesdropped on the conversation between Ai and Iron Frill’s current lead, Shiori. Junko was already stressed and worried about their performance, this just made it x10 worse.

I honestly wanna slap that Shiori bleep, like just going to a girl you've never met, whose already probably going through a good deal of stress, and go on and tell her she ain't gotta chance the way she's going now and her only shot is to dump her group and join you, adding to her stress and throwing a moral problem in there as well. That is just a level of conceited arrogance that just really ticks me off, I so hope the girls show that bleep up HARD!

On a much more happy note, Tae just keeps being the most adorable of all the girls.

Can't get enough of that opening!!

Nice focus on Ai and Junko this episode, with Ai out on solo performances due to Koutarou demanding it, it's all in Junko's hands but dislike that she is struggling with leading Franchouchou.

The talk between Junko and Sakura was really nice, I did love the comedic effect there, with Sakura's body falling off the roof and her head just sitting there still while the body makes it's way back up again. It never fails with the comedy.

Ai getting approached by her former group Iron Frill and I can't help but laugh that Iron Frill is unaware that they are trying to recruit their former center piece. What will Ai's answer to Iron Frill's offer...

Kotoro and Tae had me fucking CRYING this episode. Holy lord. That Full Metal Jacket Parody from Kotaro and Tae just doing dumb shit was comedy gold.

The 4:3 scene when Junko started singing was sooo good. It definitely had that old school feel to it. That's fantastic directing imo.

Yes please more of Franchouchou doing Dumb shit especially if Tae is banging on a Trash can lol.

But for real Iron Frill's leader can go somewhere. Talking that work on Saga...AND FRANCHOCHOU!!! Nah I do not like her.

Tatsumi separating Ai from the group,is a way to see if they will develop by themselves.

Junko just is "worse" than Ai, because the idol formula didn't changed from Ai times, seeing that if was just voice Junko tops Ai.

And that Sakura's great head-body coordination to climb back the roof without looking.

If Ai go to Iron Frill(which wont happen), they will become a Blue Zombie Group.with their percussion

And lastly. Tae question need to be answered: dry squid or dry fish? Squid

I think this will really be a chance for Ai to properly say goodbye to Iron Frill and her old life so that she can properly start her new path without comparing the two. Also she'll know more than before that she can't go back to that same life and although its not the same she has a new path to take with Franchouchou. Maybe their performances will get better without the comparison factor? I'm looking forwards to it

I’m really glad we got an Ai and Junko focused episode, my two favorites! Sucks that Ai can’t perform with the group for when they open for Iron Frill, but seeing her go solo was fun. I absolutely loved the acoustic music paired with Junko’s voice, I need more of that lol, I really hope they release that some time.

And man, Iron Frill’s lead is kinda harsh, too bad she doesn’t know she’s talking down the real Ai, I hope she changes her ways once Franchouchou does open for them, and Ai can finally move on. I’m with others here in saying this is the best episode so far! Lots of good comedy bits too, that Full Metal Jacket reference was nice, and loved the ED.

Ai's been hardworking both in front and behind the scenes, that's the first time we've seen anything from her...while the Legendary Tae Yamada chips away at annoying flies.

Seeing Kotaro SOOOO army-like is just the ****ing maggotly hilarious as usual with a raid...and seeing Franchouchou appear as the opening act for Ai's old idol group Iron Frill, having Ai sit out on this one will at least help the group in ther revenge stint with co-lead Junko, whom unlike Ai, hasn't been able to lead on the same pedigree.

Frnchouchou would operate better as a percussionist band if Yae Tamada is at the center with a trash can for drums lols.

Another instance of Zombieland hitting out of the park in its usual parody ways.

The drama of Junko's old and zombie life could've been one and the same, but time will only tell if they're able to do so. As if that's not enough, Iron Frill's lead Shiori who comes to trash-talk Ai out of Franchouchou and compare Ai's old life to herself, much less recruiting her into the idol group, that's a cause for concern.

YIKES...losing one of Franchouchou's characters will lead to demise.

For those wondering about why 'Impact' didn't show up on the keyboard, it's because Junko was going by the traditional keyboard layout (JIS). However, in current days, most Japanese keyboards nowadays are set to an IME layout, where you type the rōmaji, then it converts into Japanese characters (type inpakuto for impact). Hence the search result showing えyf「hs instead. It's a great joke for those who understand the progression of keyboard use in Japan over eras.

Great episode! Tae and Sakura were hilarious this episode.

It's really nice to get some Ai and Junko focus though, especially Junko. I am guessing Kotaro separated Ai from the group so they would rely on her less and grow by themselves. Junko not knowing how to use the computer was hilarious and cute lmao. I have always loved Junko's voice so that solo song is really fucking nice, I need a full version. Might as well get a full version of the Mezame Returner Ai solo.

Damn cliffhanger, was that our first cliffhanger in this show. Hopefully Junko grows from this, I doubt Ai would join Iron Frill, Franchouchou is where she belongs now. Really looking forward to the next episode.
