Aha. I mean, in ancient Greece, people thought that the gods were good, the beasts were bad, and humans were in between. But what happened in Auschwitz was shocking. You would rather be the beasts' friend than shake the Nazis' hands.

Oh. That's exactly how I feel. Both are great. Inception excelled in some ways. Did you see Black Swan? Oh, my God. With all due respect to Natalie Portman, it's like a joke.
Me too! It's so powerful. I will never forget the girl in the little red coat... God, I want to cry every time I think of her. Mankind is poised midway between the gods and the beasts. That may have been true in the time of Plotinus. After two world wars, I can assure you that the beasts is poised midway between the gods and mankind.

That's exactly the order I've seen his work in! Interestingly, Paprika is his most influential work. What's more, Christopher Nolan adapted it and he didn't admit it. Yes. Millennium Actress is definitely his best.
That's it. Which is your favourite anime by Satoshi Kon?

Sprited Away is magnificent! "Nothing that happens is ever forgotten, even if you can't remember it" And Howl's Moving Castle.
Grave of the Fireflies is a powerful dramatic film that happens to be animated. It is the most profoundly human anime I've ever seen. While that may sound smug to otaku, what separates it from Schindler's List is the medium. To many people, anime is for children. That hasn't changed much in 35 years.

Have you seen Paranoid Agent, his only TV series?
