| @Shizuna She does a bit :D Oh definitely I'd recommend the series, especially the 2nd game. It's tons of fun and definitely captures the Anime fan/otaku culture (I guess mainly because it's set in Akihabara, that helps). The galge element of it is also quite nice. |

| @TheMinkalex Prolly there will be at least one character from Oshi no Ko in top3, with high probability of winning the whole contest. Assuming the other spots won't be taken by another Oshi no Ko character, then I guess Bocchi and Eiko can go high, or someone from Ave Mujica or K-On (if any character from these shows was nominated). There have been many idols nominated, indeed, but it's good to be a realist and be aware of their chances. xD However, I'd love to be proven wrong and end up being surprised after seeing unexpected results. ;) |

| @Shizuna Well, it was quite nice seeing things from another perspective. Since we have a bunch of witches unsuited for combat here, but doing similar army stuff. So it's kinda the same but the action/battle stuff turns into war propaganda music/idol stuff. And we also have interactions with/among the familiars, which is not the case in the other instances. I see, so the pretty oneesan stuff. Chiyuki barely did not make the cut for me, but I like Alstroemeria, it's a really sweet trio. Rinami - kept listening to her song even after deciding it's sadly not eligible for the DB. Yeah, just from the number of members under idol shows it's quite obvious that it's not exactly popular outside of Japan. Although the umm ''proper idols'' are gonna get destroyed by the popular characters this way so it's kinda sad. |

| @machy871 In that case, I suppose I'll watch Luminous Witches sooner rather than later and let you know whether I liked it or not (I'll try not to forget haha). Yeah, all of them even have a somewhat similar hair color, however others I like have less similarities, e.g. Sakuya, Asahi and aforementioned Rinze for Shinymas; Ranko and Kanade for CG, Minako and Anna for Million Live. Well, ultimately it will depend on how people decide to vote. Maybe we'll be pleasantly surprised by the results. |

| I see that Ai Hoshino is currently winning. I ask the participants of this contest to reconsider based on what an idol is. To many it is personal, and I understand that, but to me, it is about the journey to become a top entertainer gaining talent in song, dance and maybe an instrument, while also holding a restriction on personal life specifically on relationships. Ai Hoshino succeeds in the former but not the later given that she has kids. I acknowledge the restriction is toxic, but just like hockey has its fights, it is a matter of culture and industry. If Ai wanted to be an entertainer, there is no restriction but she chose to be an idol, a person that commands fanatically loyal fans. Fanatically loyal fans come with a price and that is the idol should not be in a relationship especially if they have kids. I am personally willing to let relationships slide, as that is unenforceable nor is there physical proof if enough operational security is taken. However kids are the red line. That being said, exceptions apply if Ai had kids prior to being an idol, then it is okay. However that is not the case and ergo again, please reconsider if Ai should be in your top 10s. The rest of the Oshi no Ko cast are of course fair game as they did not have kids during their idol career. As an alternative idol, please consider Mima Kirigoe, as her story has her leave the idol industry before pursuing anything that is not "idol-like". That is giving respect to the idol industry while acknowledging your needs as an individual who is trying to find success and happiness in their life. There are proper ways to do things and Ai does not do things the proper way and it should be improper for her to win this competition. |
