| Finally David stood up against the bully at Corpo school, but it came at the cost of implanting military grade cybernetics which had a heavy impact on him. Also I knew from the start Lucy was a shady character because she kept showing David these new things and helping him without questioning his cybernetics. I also think she's in with the scavengers hence the ending and why she wanted to rescue him from the ambulance to keep the profit for herself? Will have to see next episode whether it's true. |

| David absolutely humiliates the bully who throws how many punches but can't land a thing. This has caught the attention of the bully's father who runs the school. Just because he went to the school, people think he's affluent. That couldn't be further from the truth, even the drugs for after-surgery are a luxury. Everyone wants a piece of him now he's got a military-grade tech, even the woman in the ambulance Lucy thinks the grass is green on the other side and gives David the experience of what she thinks living on the moon is like (but both of them know of the struggle it took to get up there). Turns out it's a deliberate ruse for the owner to take back what's his. |

| Generic boring boy gets special power and meets exciting girl who happens to have no social life so she can afford to hang out with MC kun. Where have I seen that before? So far this show is nothing special, if anything it shows how much appeal the Cyberpunk genre has even though CDPR completely wasted it. |

| Another average episode. It isn't bad in terms of enjoyment, but the overall writing and the rhythm in which it flows is very stereotypical and standard. Background music timing has improved, and the series finally slowed down to a good pace towards the end of this episode. Well, so far, I'm predicting this series to be a 5 - 6/10. |

| The opening is fucking badass. Damn, the chipping process seemed pretty fucking painful. There were no anaesthesia ffs? 💀💀💀 So these implants come with side effects. I guess the more unique/powerful it is, the more strain it puts on your body. 3 times is the max for David's implant Sandevistan, whereas he fired it up 8 times. Either he's gonna die soon or his body has an absurdly higher tolerance level. Ayo wtf's up with Lucy? She's making me act up. Definitely top 10 hottest anime women for me. But did she just betray David? :( That moon experience was pretty neat ngl. The OST during that segment was fucking beautiful. The ED is pretty cool |

| Oh, the waifu from the PV is here. Better use of subtlety in this episode, not something you readily find in an Imaishi anime. The betrayal thing was obvious, but I didn't think it would be this early. |
| Damn, really didn't take them long to use "I Really Want to Stay at Your House", huh? Can't blame them with how much I like the song, and I think the whole moon scene was really well done. Especially with that betrayal ending, lol. The first episode was solid in that I think it effectively do what it tried it, but it didn't really sell me on the show either. Lucy was always going to be a big part of the equation. Promotional material and the fact that she's the most popular character on MAL gave that away, not to mention episode 1 gave her a highlight moment, albeit briefly. I had a lot more fun this episode than the first, and a lot of that comes down to their dynamic. The betrayal shouldn't have hit me as a surprise as I did think their relationship felt a bit too close too fast, but regardless it caught me of guard, though my reaction was better than poor's David. I feel the betrayal makes the episode work a lot better. |

| LMAO I was literally thinking “I fee like this is a trap” right before it was revealed that she betrayed him. Well this definitely isn’t the end of her screen time but I’m curious how this is gonna play out. |
