| I didn't really like when they burst into song like in some musicals, at least they could've added some music background but otherwise great episode, i can't wait until the mystery of shado house and lord grandfather will get revealed |

| The Dolls sleep in a coffin per se, and the first episode wasn't a detox juice for sure.But brainwash juice, I'm sure. Looking at the other Dolls, I wouldn't doubt if a kid die from falling, looking at those child labor from Victorian Era. That main hall ceiling cleaning was giving me anxiety. |

| A few interesting details to pick up on this episode. Most notable for me was Kate's hesitation to leave her room to check on Emilico - which curiously has two layers of doors leading to the hallway - and her apparent concern about being caught outside of it. The obvious reason is because her "face" Emilico is simply not up to the task compared to those of the other Shadows (which is at least partially because she hasn't truly been prepared for that yet, so much as told that it's her duty) - as shown by the interaction with Sara and her "face" Mia in the garden - but I assume this "debut" that continues to be mentioned has something to do with it as well. That aside, it's incredibly obvious what the implication of "don't think trivial thoughts" is ("focus on work, don't think about revolting against the Shadows"), but it's interesting that it's the Dolls themselves who are pushing that so far, rather than the Shadows doing so directly. It was honestly really uncanny seeing Mia so perfectly mimic Sara's movements and perfectly capture her mood and that really added to the eerie tone this show is very rapidly building. |

| I like how Emilico’s situation is not overtly presented as a problematic one which allows for us to pick up on the red flags through analysis. It feels more rewarding that way, like how the cleaning song was presented in a fun manner even though it basically teaches the young “dolls” to not question anything and focus on complete obedience to the family. Emilico remains a complete screw-up, which is annoying. Why would she use a doll to soak up a spill anyways? What logic is that? |

| Emilico can be so painfully naive sometimes. Okay episode overall. Emilico continues to be a bit irritating with all the clumsiness but the new mysteries presented regarding the "debut" thing and the mention of the "grandfather" sure were interesting. |
| It was really cute, especially when she finally went outside of her room the first time but it seems like not every master are kind, the scene with kate outside was pretty sad, especially how she's being bullied because of Emilico :/, seems like Mia has problems too because of that bully master :/ |

| As someone who's read the manga, I think the anime is adapted pretty well so far! Some people have already mentioned how a few scenes were removed or changed, which is true, but luckily it wasn't anything major. I'm looking forward to seeing how this studio continues to adapt Shadows House, since it's one of my favourite mangas. I really recommend it to all of you who are interested in the anime so far! :) |

| More cute character introduced when Emilico excuse herself out to cleaned that huge outside cabin of the house. Obviously behind that happy and cheerful faces always saved some sadness, dilemma, anger behind all of it, not different with that Mia girl and her shadow master case. Apparently they both had some serious issue there, that maybe reveal at the next episode, how it can be happened. Curious about the other living girl dolls inner activity too. The whole Sarah conversation with Kate about the debut and failure, even disposal, mostly concerning. She may pointed out her doubt about Kate's full control over Emilico, possibly. Still, the mystery behind her lines surely attractive. Even when Emilico questioned her surrounding and loud out the title, the real deal shall be the next resolve. The way its also mentioned about the soot that never come off and suddenly its came off. Its might give me the idea that the soot can be wash off completely too by the same method, i think. Good thing that Emilico always found the right way to made her connection with Kate always stabillize. If not, well, she will be a shadow. Okay! Lets see what else they got in the next episode. |

When emilico learns the language she has two spreadsheets with all the symbols on them, and they all translate dot to dot to japanese kana alphabet. |
| That beginning tho, way too much “dirty” I got annoyed. I just realized that the shadows look just like their living dolls. And Mia and her shadow are like copycats. I wonder if those shadows are their living dolls' other self. Isn't it suffocating sleeping inside that box like thing... Can't wait to know more about this Shadows house. |
| When they mentioned that the living dolls were the faces of the shadows, I didn't imagine it would be so literal. That was so creepy. And if it wasn't clear enough from what we saw that Sarah was no good, I think the post-credits scene makes it clear. Poor Mia. |

| Very interesting. That conflict that the end was very interesting. They took the concept they've been talking about with them being their appearances literally. I didn't expect that. The MC is so cute though. I love how innocently she cares for Kate. |

| very good episode, even better than the first. this is definitely a must-read manga after i finish it. i had been interested in reading it two years ago and never got to it. emilico and kate seem to be an underdog pair, i like it. in my opinion, the ending deserves to be the opening and swapped out for it. the opening is nice. but the ending is suspenseful and more energetic, visuals are great too. as expected, ReoNa was the choice. |

| Still boring. Clumsy "cute" girl with irritating personality with same lame "humor" from previous episode. End of episode with bully shadow girl was only slightly interesting as at least a little bit of conflict was going on but was still juvenile mocking, meh. Next episode better wow me. |

| This feels like one of those disney movies I used to watch as a kid, but the thing is this one isn't so happy-go-lucky like they were. Emilico doing blunders after blunders helping the cause too. Also don't know I've a feeling Kate's the only sane shadow there. |

| Emilico sure breaks a lot of shit for someone who is essentially a maid. Her first instinct when something spills is to grab the nearest fabric object and use it in place of a proper cloth too. One of the scenes also shows that dolls are apparently meant to perfectly mimic their masters, to the point that they appear possessed when in the presence of them. That means Emilico is "defective"? Explains Kate's reluctance to leave the room. |
