Anyone know what Asagumo throw away before getting on the train? I also dont know why she apologized to Nukumizu during that time. Obvious something happened last week but i completely forget.

Solid episode. I'm happy to see Lemon keep her chin up and continue onward.

Her scene with Nukumizu at the shrine was perfectly well done. 10/10 episode.

so this show is about a milquetoast guy whose only point in life is to guide these teenage girls through their needlessly dramatic romances. there's no dynamic here. the MC literally has no reason to be in this show, he has no personality, he exists only to spout some vague words of wisdom to the various heroines when the moment calls, otherwise he's a piece of white bread

This was handled in such a mature way I was honestly kind of thrown off cause of the show's goofy nature that it could take it in this direction, just a very bittersweet and blunt conversation to provide closure on a romance that was so close to being. I also really adore how they have handled Nukumizu through all 3 girl's heartbreaks, he's there as support but he's not at all some unique savior in their lives and ultimately the girls themselves are the ones who are being proactive over it he just kind of watches over them or gives em a little push which makes their relationships feel so much more genuine regardless of whether this is building towards a romantic one or a platonic one, though I wont deny I really hope the series holds off on any love triangles between the girls and just focuses in on just Anna if they go that direction.

Boring show. Can MC stop getting friends zoned by blue girl and get with hot, sporty Lemon already?

Well, that got really heavy early up but was handled professionally throughout. I wasn’t expecting such a deep dive into this one but I’m glad with how things ended, over all. Lemon-chan managed to get the closure albeit in a rough way but she seemed to be happy with a certain takeaway, so I can live with that. Becoming buddy-buddy with Asagumo-san though, that’s ending it on a really positive note, hey!

Next seems to be the perfect premise for the Nukumizu-Yanami to take off! I can’t be the only one who saw it that way, right? Cheeky remark of Nukumizu early up on the lack of confession from Lemon-chan in the previous year saying your one to say was hilarious. She clearly loves drama though, that last bit ought to have been, “could you help me look for someone else?”, not the very matter they just resolved xD.

Jokes aside, there seems like a lot of story to still tell and I feel 4 episodes may not do justice… Yeah, let’s just hope I’m wrong, lol.

Diabolical, you can't convince me that there is no subtle traces of evil in Yanami, surely this just can't be simply underlined as borderline trolling on her part, like she has to know this guy is a simp-son for her, sure not in a bootlicking obvious way but it shows he feels some type of way about her, so why the emotional trauma on my boy, Nuk needs a purpose ish is gut wrenching to watch he's not even an after thought, no amount of rizz patching and buffs is saving that, if he does hats off, ummo be front row studying that come back.

This was less goofy and more serious on drama. It resolved Lemons arc pretty nicely. I think this ends vol 2 ? I thought they gonna do 4 episode per volume for 3 volume. So maybe the will adapt the 4th one with Shikiya cover too.
1st volume was better but this is also great. They cooking each week and animation quality damn..

Lemon is really good girl. She was sad just cause she had thought of cheating. That shrine scene was really rough for her and it was very well executed. Nukumizu also doesn't really involve himself and let things play out while still being there.
Mitsuki was much better this time. Atleast he reciprocate Lemons feelings and opens up to her. Kinda bad timing and luck for Lemon atleast she can find peace after resolving things with Chihaya and Mitsuki.

Kaju got little screentime better than nothing ig. It's not enough to hear her weird Brocon stories in promos need more.
Also yeah fuck that blue haired loser glutton. How dare she play with a boys heart. My guy thought he had a chance for a bit. I had a guess something like that about to happen. He is already getting dragged in this dramas now this shits keep happening.
He deserves better cause Nukumizu is him.

Why did Kaju strike the flint behind Nuku's back? Is this some sort of Japanese superstition?

Probably the best conversation that Anna has had with Nukumizu there at the beginning of the episode. Finally. Everyone always says they love how they interact, but I've actually usually been really annoyed by it. I'm glad this one felt a lot more equal, understanding, and kinda even effortless. Also, good on Anna for not getting defensive when Nukumizu said he didn't want anyone talking behind anyone's backs. Just a good conversation overall.

Anna giving her take on the love triangle between Mitsuki, Chihaya and Lemon, and Nukumizu being considerate of the feelings already on display, at least she can offer her advice being a close friend, but that will betray her feelings if she thinks otherwise. Indeed, him finding Lemon at a hidden spot where she practices her runs to have a pep talk, she still thinks about him, but the more she thinks about the relaitonship, the more she becomes severely depressed about it, and talking to the both of them will help to clear the air about their thoughts of the convoluted love triangle.

Indeed, the attachment between each other goes back to their childhood days, even the park where they always met and had fun together, despite their circumstances that brought them to this day, depending on each other without knowing the affection that Mitsuki's into Lemon, but only knows that feeling once he started dating Chihaya, even towards their future. Even Mitsuki acknowledging Nukumizu being the friends of Losing Heroines, he embraces the couple time for the relevant couple right till the end, even to their significant pinkie hand-holding scene.

It's a wrap for Lemon's Losing Heroine story, though Chihaya using GPS to stalk Lemon and the rest, that's wild lols. But Anna trying to find a substitute boyfriend...within Mitsuki, that's so twisted lols, she be giving us a heartscare.

Volume 2 is done, and it's the chibi Komari's turn to shine!

@Luckser I hope so but I doubt it knowing how dumb she is. I still really like Anna as a character. It's just a bit annoying thing to do which on par for her. I wrote this meant to be a sarcasm.

@WaterMage that is the point, she is dumb (just like Nukumizu said in the episode 2). If u know "Manzai" there must be stupid one and smart one. Author playing with this type joke from the start. The comedy is so natural that most people won't catch it unless they have a great sense of humor

@Swiggy That means you don't know what Manzai is. Manzai requires a pair of stupid and smart one. They understand each other's characters, which is why Yanami doesn't hesitate to say whatever she wants to say. Cuz in the end Nukumizu will understand what Yanami means. Manzai is more or less like that too.
It seems that not many anime fans can catch a clever joke like Manzai.

@Luckser I got it. Nukumizu & Anna has very good synergy. But the point is still there she is way to dumb to realise she shattered Nukumizu without even wanting too. Nukumizu is habituated too it so he doesn't mind but I feel bad for my man.

@Luckser No, me liking their interactions or not has nothing to do with understanding Manzai or not. Trust me, I'm very aware of what Manzai is. I had to study it along with other aspects of Japanese culture as part of my major (Japanese).

I did not like their interactions even from the first episode. This includes the whole paying Nukumizu back with food thing that is, thankfully, done. All of it annoyed me. I would say it's Anna I didn't like, but honestly, maybe up until this episode or even the last one or two episodes, a lot of this anime has annoyed me. There are some aspects I'm fine with and the interactions between our Make Heroines specifically have not annoyed me. I had a feeling the anime would slowly get away from the aspects I haven't been too fond of. That's why I've stayed. That's it. Thankfully, I was right and the anime actually is drifting towards the direction I was hoping it'd go.

And so I'm glad this interaction exists. Everyone else can like whatever they like and that's fine, but that's just been my experience.

@WaterMage hmm... I dont think so. He doesn't even have any romantic feelings for Yanami at all, so I guess he's not shattered. He's just like, "Oh, this is Yanami-san I know."
