Tbf he is the leader of the first division so he didn’t wanna run away to show he was a wimp or something and he probably wanted to help out the twins , and also he probably wanted to gain more information on black dragon by him staying longer there he found out , that their older brother is the leader of black dragon and also realising that that’s probably why shiba joins black dragon and becomes evil cause of his older bro takemichi doing something smart? how completely out of character (jk jk lol). i feel like everyone already knows (or at least figures) he's a wimp so if he did run away then no one would be too surprised. but i do agree with you - that would make sense that he stayed bc he wanted to help out and also gather more information. it's just frustrating that he's always standing around and keeps getting beaten up without defending himself/trying to fight back. man has some of the strongest plot armor in anime. i really hope him getting beat down was worth it and we get some information on black dragon next episode |

| I wish someone would bloody teach Takamichi how to fight cause this guy needs to toughen up if he's gonna be a Toman Captain! I think at this point in the story we need to see some kind of character development from him, especially after everything he's been through, but he's pretty much the same as when his journey started! Hakkai seems pretty cool and I'm so happy to finally have a badass female character in Yuzuha. But their brother... that dude's fucking crazy! |

| Dude spent half the episode thinking of Black Dragon but the moment he encounters a gang sporting a "BD" logo, he doesn't have a clue of what those initials could represent. I swear Naoto would kill himself if he knew Takemichi's deductive skills equal the ones of a toddler. Honestly, Hakkai and his sister saved this episode from being utterly horrendous. I'm just so fucking tired of hearing Takemichi stating something the audience already deducted minutes ago and of course, seeing him standing still while not even thinking of Hina's safety continue to be as infuriating as one could expect. Not that Hina did any better tho... girl's practically screaming to get stabbed or worse. |
| takemichi still a punching bag....some things never change huh like I don't expect him to be an MMA fighter caliber fighter, but god damn learn something, learn how to dodge at least. |

| The 2nd Division Captain Hakkai Shiba is here with his older sister Yuzuha, he's a Black Dragon member, the 11th leader. The competition in the bowling arena between him and Takemichi is heating up for supremacy in games, and every time Hakkai beats him to a pulp so much that they become friends. Contrary to belief, Hakkai may look otherwise as Takemichi has surmised, but something definitely has gone in the 12 years since, and for now, Hakkai is the calm, cool and collected leader who seems frazzled, and his obsession with Mitsuya will set the tone for time precedent. The unfortunate clash with the Black Dragons with 10th captain Hajime "Koko" Kokonoi, and Hakkai makes his presence known as the younger brother of the Black Dragon boss Taiju. Takemichi and Hina must get out of this situation alive, but the former getting wrecked by Taiju, he's a formidable sight to behold. And now, Hakkai must beat Takemichi to death, and as much as the younger brother didn't want to commit to this, it's the older brother's order. Nobody gives shit to Taiju, he's the boss. |

| It's the Blu Ray disc gang! Someone like Taiju would have ended in prison long ago, attacking someone he doesn't even know. Takemichi doesn't act like a big number from Toman at all, there would be a reason for being a captain, no? Taiju was also surprised that wimp was in a gang. Still a bit too brutal even if he stepped into their barrio. I like Hakkai and Yuzuha, probably isn't easy having a gang leader as brother. There was no reason for confrontation at this point, does Hakkai know who Takemichi is? Hina, run away! Taiju thinks he can talk to his brother like to some of his underlings. Next episode might be funny, I would like to know how they want to resolve the problem. I accepted that Tokyo Revengers is not perfect, as gangster soap opera its great though |

| Good episode, not a bad one. Hakkai and his older sister are an interesting characters. Even her older sister got a spotlight for the ED song. Hina is no longer taking the ED song spotlight like the 1st season. Here we go again... The punching bag scene repeated again. Takemichi still doesn't know how to dodge. The ED song and visual is not bad. |

| I like all the new characters introduced this episode, but man we get the buildup from the last episode just to have Takemichi continue to be useless. It's pretty cathartic reading all the takemichi hate comments. If only this show had a different MC, such a waste... |

| It's honestly shameful that this is 2023 and manga sold insanely and anime budget is still as bad as season 1. I had some hope after watching episode 1 but nope , I'll cope with it I guess. |
