| These days, not very often. Even my top 20 remains fairly static. I feel as though I've past the stage of watching shows that appealed to my preferences (mature, adult-cast, slow-burners) due to watching mostly everything that peaked my interest in said preferences-- and have now delved into exploring Anime shows that're... less appealing to me (all in hopes that I can finally find something that shocks my expectations, and glides into the top 20). Even so, whether a show is terrible or not, I weirdly enjoy the experience of watching them; as I see it as helping me form a better understanding of my general preferences and open-mindedness. I think after I reach 1000 Anime finished, I'll finally delve into Manga-- as it's a fresh experience filled with new stories that're appealing to me (Berserk, 20th Century Boys, Kingdom). |
| It's rare for me to change my top 10 but it does happen. If I like a new show more than any of my previous top 10 than they do get replaced. For example right now I am planning to remove AOT S3 part 2 from my favorites list and add CSM anime instead. I am just waiting to see if the adaptation could live upto the manga which in my opinion is one of the best in recent years. |

| If you had asked me when I first joined MAL, I would have said I'm super sure about them and they're not changing. But they have changed a bit recently, and I definitely see them changing more in the future. My rule for replacing a favorite is super simple: It just has to be 'more' of a favorite than the anime it's replacing. Which basically just means it has to resonate with me enough for me to even want to replace one of my current favorites, to begin with. So far in the past year, my favorite anime have changed three times. I see them probably kind of settling after I've watched more anime, and found more things I like. But especially as of right now, I'm pretty open to changing/replacing favorites. |

| Top 10 hasn't changed much at all. It will only change if sequels decide to be made that is less than the quality what I was used to and thus will put it down below the top 10 allowing something else to rise. There have been real close ones as of late (the top 20 has shifted a bit). Of course if I happen to change what I value the most when factoring top anime, then the top 10 will shift (which it has the 2 other times I tweaked the meaning) |

| Very rare. It last changed when Love is War S3 finished airing. To be a part of T10, I'd say I have to genuinely like the show and that show has had an everlasting impact on me. |

| Not terribly often. My top 3 basically don't change, and my top 10 have stayed the same for a long time, so I don't think they're going anywhere anytime soon. It does happen, just not a common thing. I know what I like, and I think I've discovered what does that the best. At least, at this point in my life. |

| For me, it has to be something that I really love -not necessary to have a 10 on score. As for example, I loved Machikado Mazoku, and while I think it's not even close to an 9, I talk about it almost daily. Once I reach my top 10 limit, I still have AL as a "backup", so I'm saving my "less favourites" ones there and change MAL's top. Manga top is weird since I mostly read original adaptations or popular stuff, so I'd say for that I would add anything that I would definitely buy on physical if I can. For example, I had read Yagate Kimi ni Naru around 2020 or 2021, and even then I started to buy the manga once I found out they were selling it on store. Stuff that's "really worth my time and money". |

| It hasn’t changed in a while. The last change was replacing Tokyo Godfathers with Madoka Magica (back in June I think). Actually, I think that’s the only time I have changed it since I filled in all ten slots. I change my top 10 favourite characters quite often though. Sometimes I switch out a character and, half a year later, I realise that I liked them more than I thought so I swap them back xD |

| Very Rarely. My favorites are series that are very special to me and had a big effect on me as a fan. No series can really recreate that. A couple are vulnerable to being replaced but it's not likely. |

| I've never thought of my top ten as something that's unable to change, I found so many of my favorites last year but for these past months, I wouldn't say there's been something worth modifying and so I decided to make a list that extends further than 10 entries for my favorite shows. I'd say the only candidate has been Planetes but even with the perfect score I gave it I think my current top ten represents my tastes so well that I've left it as it is. |
| I wish they would change more often but at the same time they're my top 10/20 for a reason and not like I try to force myself into finding new ones. Onto that I feel like shows nowadays just won't really give me the same feelings and vibes as I got when watching my favorites but maybe it's just a matter of finding them. |

| The favorites itself didn't change all that much (slightbit changes are still there). But how i use my favorite section have changed which have created lot of big change in the section significantly. Currently, i take a lot of things in consideration like for eg - no title should repeat as in not even between anime ,manga , characters and people. If i put a author in my favorite, non of his works or adaptation or characters in his work will be in my Favorites. Earlier, i used to have my favorites work, it's adaptation, it's author and its main characters in my favorite together. That is not the case anymore. There are other considerations to like given equal representation demographic and male/female characters or anime originals and putting other professionals too instead of just mangaka etc. Even though currently It's not all accurate according to my estimated view, but i am working on it. Anyways my favorites are not a simple representation of which anime i like more like before |

| Almost never you could say. In my decade on my MAL so far they have changed 3 times: once when I added LOGH, another when I replaced Kemono no souja Erin for Akage no Anne, and lastly when I replaced FMAB for One Piece. Recently, anime like Violet Evergarden and Megalobox 2 made some strong arguments, but I wasn't fully convinced. |

| I've added 4 anime over the past 2 and a half years to my top 10 and moved Made in Abyss from #2 to #1 after berserk was sitting there for like 3 years (which is like most of the time I've been watching anime.) I imagine as time goes on and I watch more anime my top 10 will be a lot more static. I'm quite the slow anime watcher though. |

| I don't have a top 10 fav yet ("fav" as in the ones i resonate with the most). But i DO have a top 10 best anime by sheer quality on my profile: 1. Monster 2. SEL 3. GitS (1995) 4. Perfect Blue 5. Kino's Journey (2003) 6. Mushishi 7. Pale Cocoon 8. Namakura Gatana 9. GitS SAC 10. FLCL SAC was the latest one to break through a couple months ago. I'm planning to rewatch Paranoia Agent which is the only one i can see pulling off the same feat. That'd probably be the final update. I don't see any other show i watch afterwards hitting the top 10 but yeah, who knows. |
| Not too, too frequently. I only have 1 or 2 series on my list that have the potential of being overtaken. Something seriously good would have to come out of nowhere to knock out most of the things on my list. That being said, I may have changed my bottom series a couple times in the past year.
