Garbage? Technically yes. Ridiculous? Undeniable. Enjoyment value? Goddamn it sure does.

A little squeak of progress between Kazuya and Mizuhara happened in this episode, how they get to that point? Well Chizuru forced to stay at Kazuya's room for a little, Mami appearing gave them the chills (even though she somehow found out), Kazuya having the time of his batshit dreams by touching Chizuru's butt, and both of them having some nice talk about family relationship. I don't see much wrong about the events that transpired so moving on.

I wonder what Mami feels because seeing Kazuya happy like that at the end rubs her the wrong way, but one thing is for certain, no matter how some of y'all hate this shitshow to hell and back, I am still enjoying it. Still a guilty pleasure for show, but one that still has something to come back for every week. Anyways, now that's out of the way, we might have a slight downhill trajectory from here on out.

Really interesting episode. And also, for those of you who have been wondering why Kazuya was grabbing Chizuru’s ass when she was slipping off the balcony there, it’s what they like to call “a knee-jerk reaction”. Yes, I can understand with his hyperactive libido, that he looked like the boy who cried wolf when he just happened to grab her ass, but let me assure you that it was in fact a knee-jerk reaction. He moved from her butt to another part of her body, and that was before the slip with those two on top of each other, just as an FYI.

And even though he has a hyperactive libido, even for us normal guys if there was a girl that we liked that was bending over like that right in front of us, we of course would have some of those thoughts. And it wasn’t too crazy what Kazuya was thinking too, because my God, he had a really hot girl bending over in front of him trying to reach a particular place. I mean you can’t blame him too much, even with the overactive libido, right?

But yeah, I don’t know why it took so long for Kazuya to figure out that she would’ve wanted to stay the night over at his place, considering the fact she already said that she lost her key and obviously couldn’t get into her apartment. Hell, I thought that was going to happen at the end of last episode when I first heard that.

And real interesting backstory there for both Chizuru and Kazuya, especially when he was explaining it to Chizuru who knew nothing of it before then. And he acknowledges the fact that she has it much harder than he does, which he was trying to say that puts his situation in perspective.

And Kazuya was seeing Chizuru as he was making copies towards the end there. ๐Ÿ˜„ Also, Mami finally tracked him down on campus, so I wonder what’s going to happen for the next episode?

Sorry but this line of thought is extremly creepy. If someone can't hold themselves back then maybe its best for them to just never interact with a potential partner ever.

Call me crazy but I don't mind Kazuya much this season.

It was cool to finally learn more about Chizuru's upbringing, however I'm sure their relationship will still progress at a snail's pace.

Also Mami entering his apartment without permission was creepy as hell. Unlocked door or not, this is just too invasive.

Well Mami didn’t really go anywhere, she just went to that little doorway where you put the shoes, because it’s Japan and all, and just stayed there while calling Kazuya’s name. so that doesn’t really seem to count.

But everything else you said there makes a lot of sense and it’s nice to see someone else who really gets it. I mean I saw several other people on her who seem to understand, but there’s an awful lot of Puritans as of late who are getting all morally righteous about this whole series, and others like it as well. So it’s a bit of a relief for you to chime in as well and not nitpick the individual pervy scenes, which anime has been known for, for the longest time by the way. Rather focus on what you’re supposed to focus on in this series, like character development, and not just whatever bad stuff you happen to see. So again, thank you.

This episode is not as good as I expected. Pretty lack lustre compared to previous 2 episodes.

IDK why Kazuya was so over-reacting to Mizuhara coming in his apartment, I mean they have slept in a same room before, what's there to be nervous about now? Ah but that's how is character is so no use complaining I guess.

Imagine Mizuhara saying, "did I ask?" after Kazuya finished his speech lmao.

But man the ED is so good. Best ED of the Season?

Overall pretty eh episode except at when Mami almost caught Kazuya and Mizuhara, boy that scene was intense, even I was getting all tense. Also the moment when Kazuya and Mizuhara pass each other at college corridor was kind of nice, I think it means maybe she sees him as a fellow college-goer I guess? Previously she pretended he didn't exist and she only wanted a proessional relationship between them but we can only see their relationship as unprofessional and personal as it can get, on one hand I want to think that maybe Mizuhara likes him and that's why she's doing what she is and on the other hand I just feel like she's pitying him and doing all that to make him a better man who can get back together with his ex. But then question comes why would she go to such lengths to just help a client? I have no idea what's going on in Mizuhara's head. Very confusing. Poor Kauzya, he has no way of knowing where his relationship with Mizuhara is going. Although not gonna lie I'm gonna be mad if Mizuhara falls for thr current Kazuya, I mean he's the MC and everyone wants him to get her but boy does he need some goood character development first.

Other than that pretty boring episode, boring speech, boring "fan-service", IDK if we can even call it that, it was just so bad.

I hope next episode is good.

and why does kazuya feel like they have to hide from mami....who cares......so cringe to watch him hiding from her lol it was almost pathetic like bruh....it's exactly why she behaves & acts like this lol i realise, i don't even dislike mami any more. if his feelings or whatever he thinks those are towards chizuru are sincere & genuine, then put your fucking foot down & stop being such a simp & letting these manipulative girls step all over you? if not it's just like what he said, lip service.

Damn this might be recency bias but I genuinely think that the first season was not as slow as this. The first episode was just about Chizuru's play, the second episode was all about Chizuru's grandma and the stupid reasons those two keep putting on an act, and the third episode was mostly spent in Kazuya's apartment.

Has the show always been like this? Where one episode is dedicated to solely one event and nothing more?

Can someone remind me why was that they can't let mami see them together?
I don't remember something starting that and sounds and feels the most stupid thing to prepare drama for the future.

Also 3 episodes in and the freeze in Mami's segment on the OP is still there.
The op already suffers of not being as catchy as the previous one and the visuals not making that feeling of being on sync with the music that most ops has, but that's just really unprofessional if they keep it that way the whole season.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure that we all agree that Kayuza is horny simp incarnate and that makes him who he is as a character. It’s just that at this point in time in the anime and manga, any attempts for his redemption (no matter how good it’s presented) will always be quickly overshadowed and forgotten due to his own faults or by whatever BS Reiji comes up with.

Don’t get me wrong I definitely believe he would have a proper redemption arc at the end of all of this, but it being of any value is yet to be seen.

The second-hand embarrassment is real.

Huh, I thought only Chizuru would hide, but both of them hiding left Mami concluding he carelessly left the door unlocked to go late-night shopping (though not for long as she has eidetic memory about the bag, apparently).

I'm surprised you haven't complained about the re-caps, and two of the other ones that reflected only just 10 seconds ago in this episode. The part Mizuhara was going down the stairs, and staring at Kazuya at school....

Recaps were bearable compared to the 1st episode. Chizuru's way of acting and obliviousness for me just justify how braindead the author is with the lack of dialogue and just piles in more and more bullshit inner monologue and visuals that 10% has to involve Kazuya's horniness and 90% involves Chizuru's FANSERVICE, this is what I'm legit getting from this episode lol, though I'll say Chizuru chasing her dream is quite lukewarming though but it will not be that big of a significant relevancy as the progression goes because Reiji sure loves to make Kazuya the center and being a constant cuckhold in this series.

You missed plot premise almost entirely, and didn't comprehend the author's character setup. One of the main purposes of the rent-a-girlfriend service is to help young, socially awkward people or social rejects develop the confidence and skills necessary in relationships and beyond. Chizuru of course already knows this, and has the experience interacting with and knowing people like Kazuya, thus her inexpressiveness. She in particular simply does not care about awkwardness, as shown already from the first season. Moreover, Chizuru is an aspiring actress. Suffice to say she has a range of experiences in social situations.

S1 was definitely more loaded and better paced than this. Though it’s mostly because S1’s dedicated into setting up the plot and the characters, while S2 has the premise already established and is geared towards in setting the story for the climax, resulting into a much more seemingly slower pace.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but there are episodes last season where they dedicated it to mostly one event such as the ‘Sumi Date’ and the ‘Beach Episode’. Though those are truly incomparable to any of the three episodes we have so far.

Man, this episode.

This anime has such a funny idea that had so much potential, but then the author just makes the mc this shithead that has only a single trait: being a horny little bitch.

It's so bad it's enjoyable somehow. Nothing happens, there's basically no development, and the situation hasn't changed since the beginning of the series. Hoping that Mami actually makes something happen, though I highly doubt she will do something meaningful at least for now.

You know I’m solely watching this because I enjoyed trash and this series, that is Kanojo Okarishimasu, shows how badly it’s being presented but regardless, it’s a fun mockery of what it has to offer as a whole. Chizuru forgets her key ๐Ÿ’€๐Ÿ’€ ๐Ÿ’€ I swear things can’t get any dumber than this and I can’t deny the fact she’s narcissistic based on the face she’s making and how she’s so full of wanting to secure herself while not even looking at the sight of Kazuya’s weird faces like GIRL HAVE SOME AWARENESS CAN’T YOU? This series in a nutshell got enough of you having 90% of the fanservice with 5% idiocy from Kazuya like bro is constantly coming out being horny, and 5% of the whole plot moving out of space.

YET AGAIN people defend this series like “Kazuya being horny does flesh out his behavior” BUT MY BROTHER IN CHRIST this depicts an awfully one-dimensional character that only HAS ONE FRICKING GOAL THAT DOESN’T HAVE THE HEART TO CONTINUE AND IT’LL TAKE ETERNITIES to achieve it, HELL now in this episode Kazuya even struggles to take the initiative in communicating with Chizuru, whether it’s to ask for such simplest question, THE NIGHT IS STILL YOUNG SO THERE’S A PROCESS FOR YOUR BRAINCELL TO LITERALLY THINK ABOUT WHAT TO OFFER HER IF SHE’S STUCK INSIDE YOUR HOUSE INSTEAD OF REPEATING YOUR INNER MONOLOGUE, my god, this is not a good example of giving someone a hospitality! Moreover, Kazuya has always been lacking depth and never seems to learn or grow at all from many given advice, like fuck it Reiji can do whatever implication they want to him because they’re the mastermind after all but in the case of Kanojo Okarishimasu, it stays ambiguous or just doesn’t anything but situational fillers all over and over again to degenerate his main goal progression.

Good god, Mami is here but still, I don’t really get why Mami would really care about Kazuya’s situation just because Chizuru is his rental gf, and like so what’s the use of breaking them up when you’re Kazuya’s ex, to begin with? Mami doesn’t really give anything that significant other than her yandere type of interference or sad girl who got no men (In a replacement of “no bitches”) and wants to get back to her ex or something to be frankly real she’s almost like a rival, anime made it funnier through USING A ROCK BACKGROUND MUSIC LMAO just like that episode when Kazuya was imagining himself fucking with Mami while thinking of Chizuru. Furthermore, the whole saving grace of this whole episode is the support of Chizuru’s dream, nothing more, nothing less because her story just feels separable like she could be better off in another series, and nothing like will be further put in emphasis in the end, keeps adding on the reasoning to why she can be a well-written character in accordance to what this series has to offer but still her impact for the overall especially Kazuya’s goal is left to be desired, regardless again, this segment was just relief from such a calamity. The end credit is just Kazuya overthinking while printing a poster of Chizuru lmao. Well calm before the storm, Mami is back at it again with her devious eyes, what is she cooking this time?

so true. this series is hot garbage to be honest

Kazuya with all that "fluff" in his hands! Makes me just a little bit jealous, being pretty trashy in the head like Kazuya myself...

For real though. As ridiculous as both this show and its premise are, the spectacle is undoubtedly one of the best burning disaster dumpster fires I've had the pleasure of watching. Just the balcony scene alone made the entire series worthwhile to this point. Really looking forward to Kazuya doing even more questionable deeds with the other ladies and making his haters hate even more!

Kazuya really gets on all of our nerves when he realizes he has his chance to dig Mizuhara, the chance that he's been waiting for to simp on her.

For Mizuhara, it's finding alternate ways to get into her house, and the only way is through Kazuya's balcony, and what happened is the evolution of Season 1's ending episodes YET AGAIN, but this time with Mami as the distinguished guest whom came to Kazuya's house for the very first time. Most certainly...she didn't step into the house because of Mizuhara's handbag that's lying around in his room.

Kazuya trying to be truthful to Mizuhara, and what the latter has of her family left is her ailing grandma on the cusp of death, doing everything to help fulfill her only family's dream. Same goes for the former whom still has his folks around, and for all intents and purposes, these two will keep supporting each other for now.

Still a good dumpster trash.

Anime: freaks out in doorway, they have to drag out his thinking but this much 'tension', ecchi thinking because haven't had at in a while even besides part of his character but I mean even still, hides in kitchen of all places.

Me: why not check further on the other side, why not hide on the balcony even for the distance. Sure turning off the lights its too late and otherwise yeah the bag.

I like the anime but I do question some things where I'm like uh really? That much standing there, that much not expecting this so freaking out, that much we haven't had an ecchi scene in a while, that much time to panic before the door gets opened.

But I also question how far the 'we exaggerated that client and outside of client that is the case but just to make the sometimes overly done tension we will have some silly moments that for me now isn't landing but any other time probably would so I'm overthinking the ways they could have approached these scenes and this episode in general'

I know what type of show it is I'm fine with Kazuya being the type of character he is contrasted from the others but I do have to question some scenes and how I can predict it but be wrong how it's going to play out because I had a different idea instead of what actually happens so it ends up not predictable in the 'quixk hide, have to do this' but what I'm thinking could happen then the simpler way it presents itself even having seen so many anime do it it's still just me overthinking instead.

Yeah it’s funny you should say that, because I really do like this whole ending theme. And that whole “life is beautiful“ writing on that wall there in one of the scenes, that itself was very beautiful. And my god, take a look at Chizuru’s hairstyle During the whole fireworks/outdoor dinner part. I mean I guess I should expect this from an actress, but she really has excellent tastes in fashion!

And is it just me, or are the backgrounds real life photos or something? I mean I swear that it is, but someone correct me if I’m wrong.

Man, I facepalmed so hard this episode. How did he not figure out she wanted to come inside because she lost her key or something happened relating to her door. Also, when Mami arrived for some reason, why didn't he lock the door when Chizuru came in, and Mami clearly knows you are there since the light is on. It didn't really click for Mami until she noticed a girl's purse there. I don't know why Kazuya even told his ex about where he lives considering how she treated him.

I think we all know that this isn't a romance anime right surely the author didn't intend to add in romance in the mix, And here comes the obligatory fan service after all this wouldn't be rent a girlfriend without fan service

I want some drama though Mami didn't go all in and check his dorm, So the whole episode focuses inside Kazuya's place kind of dragging with this much space it's so confined

That hand gesture was confusing but just might be a friendly greeting, Bros about to collapse from happiness.

There's nothing wrong with being horny or having a horny character, but Kazuya is like horny incarnate.

I'm the same way, but I did mind Kazuya's overthinking and his one-tracked mind back in the first season. When that happens its hard not to cringe about it.

Same here, in fact I may have already talked about it earlier in this thread. It’s quite obvious that Chizuru wanted to come in to stay for the night, since she just said that she lost the key, so how could you not get that?

But that part about not locking the door for his ex, that’s quite understandable, since he was so shocked about the fact that Chizuru stopped over. His mind was obviously preoccupied with the fact that she was in his apartment, than to think about other things like his ex stopping over and how to deal with it or whatever.

Not much happens, same thing same shit. Kazuya never changes nor get any character development, sure he says some inspirational things sometimes but after like 1 episode he just forgets it and move on to being a loser all over again. Pretty standard

Remember dudes = If you want girls to like you and respect you, you have to show them that you can make them jealous, you have to show them that you have other woman in your life

I had some School Days vibes in this episode, when the two main girls where leaving the MC apartment and then they met up. In School Days, Sekai got slapped by Kotonoha

Anywho, it was a fun episode with the hiding from Mami. But the male MC with the way he acts with the rental girlfriend like if she is perfect is annoying

How tf is touching her ass gonna save her from falling, huh, Kazuya? You need to grab tightly.

On another note, Mami needs a boss music for herself.

I really loved the exchange towards the end where they started to open up about family life. There’s probably more he could’ve said to console her, but it was a genuinely touching moment seeing them open up to each other like that.

No idea why people shit on Kazuya here. We know he is trash from S1, but it's not like he did anything wrong this time around. He is just an awkward virgin (like most ppl who post here it would seem...), with his imagination often running ahead of his realities. Cringy to watch, sure. But if there is someone who hasn't experienced it once in their teens, then idk what to say lol.

Anyway, happy to see Mami. She is such a glorious walking bomb that I can't wait to see more of her.

Anime stretches his thoughts and monologues a lot. It's not like he is standing around for few minutes computing that stuff. And personally I think leaving doors open was unexpectedly proper of him - you don't close door with key when you invite a girl that might feel awkward inside.

I will keep watching and I will keep complaining. Dude is such a weirdo loser. I will say this every week. How has dude not been cast out by society. Personally, if I am Mizuhara I'm staying away from this creep but thats just me. Impossible to root for our MC cause he sucks. Our girl is just tryna get home and this dude gotta make it weird. So Chizuru has no parents. I thought like Kazuya too, that she has them.

I enjoyed the moment between the two at the balcony. Admired kazuya's resolve of his feelings.I like a pace such as this one.

Mami has inserted herself in the picture again, can't wait for next week

I love this show, creates butterflies in my tum tum. I know I am weird but fuck It, I'll accept that title with open arms.

Honestly I struggle to understand why this series is getting so much hate. I guess MC remknds some viewers of themselves.
But I really love the chemistry between him and Chizuru.
Also, this series is a perfect example why picking something to watch by the series ratings is just plain retarded.
Dub = fake crap. Always.

Man... Mami is still the same bitch as ever tho she didn't do anything in this episode. On the other side, Chizuru is so amazing and Kazuya is a simp who has no confidence in himself whatsoever. Idiot.
