| Just really depressing to see a creator who made my childhood with the show, manga, and these cards just suddenly gone. Goodness, I remember my cousins and I bonded so much not only from pokemon but Yu-gi-oh was a major series we loved. Rest easy Takahashi-san know that you made an impact in the world with Yu-gi-oh and I'm so keeping my cards for safe keeping too much fond memories I have with them. |

| Ah, I heard about this when the news dropped here in Japan. It's really saddening to hear. The Yu Gi Oh anime and card game was a big part of my life growing up. I remember waking up early to watch it on a Saturday morning in the UK. Thank you, Takahashi for making my childhood brighter |

| I'm a bit late, but RIP. I've always maintained that he was one of the most underrated Jump artists. Yu-Gi-Oh! was filled with some pretty sick art and designs. I hope he knows that he leaves behind a huge legacy and franchise that shows no signs of slowing and that has inspired thousands. |

Yes, it's obviously unrelated, but I was trying to word it in a way that wouldn't trigger posts from certain negative elements of this site. Also at the time there were also a bunch of posts speculating about the conspiracies, that was more what I was responding to, maybe I didn't pick the best post to respond to. |
