This was one of the most important battles of this show given the extremely high stakes.

There's also some emotional elements and storytelling added to the episode. I find it almost symbolic at how far they pushed the importance of the fight. A hell of a soundtrack they used this episode too. Crazy shit. The angel carrying soul scene looked like something out of a fantasy movie.

Well for once this actually was an episode which felt way too heavy, first with Mirai and Saki cornering Poliman and then with Mukaido shooting him down until he was on his last breath, quite brutally too if I say. Also it was a fear of mine having Mirai pulling any heroic stunts down there at that time stopping Mukaido or something like that given the kind of person he is, but thankfully there wasn't. Also the soundtrack throughout too was stand out this time around. But still no new OP and ED.

Now with two of the major characters being out of this game, I'm somewhat curious to what they have in for us, also about that person whose red arrow was being shot to Poliman.

Probably the best episode so far, Metropoliman's execution scene was pretty good especially with the OST and it's well deserved, happy that he's gone, though the real sad moment is for Mukaido who was by far the best character of this show, RIP, it's even sadder that now there is no good character anymore so I will miss him for sure... next interesting one is that masked kid we saw that manipulated him but I feel like he'll be as annoying as Metropoliman.

Well for me at least this episode was one of the best so far, now I wonder how the story will proceed.

This episode gave me what I was waiting for. Awesome. RIP Mukaido, our man went out like a G.

I was afraid that we would get a new main antagonist. I honestly don't think that I can dislike him more than Kanade, but this is prolly where this series will go downhill for real. Welp, I'm satisfied with how it went till this point, the rest of the story can go to hell for all I care.

A stellar finish to the arc. Many great shots and artwork in this episode really helped build up the tension during the big scene Mirai letting Metropoliman be killed by Mukaido as a last request type deal before he dies. The red arrow influencing as well but Mirai letting a life be taken for someone he cares about is a huge step forward. An unorthodox way of killing someone but apparently Metropoliman did let someone use a red arrow on him so Mirai couldn't do that and a white arrow is still to much. That little boy whom wore the giant head must've been the one Metropoliman trusted for the red arrow. Which makes the kid happy to see Metropoliman dead very interesting. I'm guessing he will become a new main character now that Metropoliman is dead. I wonder what the conflict could be, I'm unsure how many god candidates are left other than Mirai and Saki but there's gotta be a few that haven't been revealed. This will be hard for out heroes to overcome but they have to press on.

Let's count

He killed at least 3 in stadium
That ninja guy from this arc.
One when we got to see him Very first-time
He himself 6
Mokaido 7
That kid 8
Out 2 main character 10?
There was 13 right?
Or did I missed something or someone?

The music was fantastic and conveyed a heavily portrayed theme of justice and loss.

Character growth with the Mc was prevalent in the ep, and the outcome was justifiable because it was for the greater good. He looked realistically in this sort of situation instead of idealistic (yes I know he was pierced by a red arrow and therefore controlled to some degree). However the means, I believe that in the end that he knew the dangers of keeping a egotistical murderous manipulative classist person alive and thus decided to finish it there and then.

The art was stunning for the most part and I wished that certain contrasts did not happen (aka the bad CG). The overall feel portrayed realism, sense of urgency, determination, and sadness. Ohh man when Mukaido was struggling to pull the trigger, it pulled in and l started to tear up leaving me on the edge of my seat waiting for the conclusion and justice to be done.

In the end, I would rate this ep probably a 9/10 and I cant wait for whatever Platinum end's future has to offer.

I know this basically is my review of the ep and thus this was drawn out, but I just could not help but get worked up over this.

Another very good episode, but this time sad.
The best character in this anime died, but he managed to have enough strength to kill Metropoliman before he died.
Honestly, I don't know how the anime will go on with the "main villain" dead and the best character too.

ok y'know this could've gone a lot worse than I imagined so gg in that regard, maybe the 2nd half of this series will be a stark contrast compared to the 1st lmao

Seems like a fitting end for metrosexualhipster-kun but lol @ Mirai being totally fine with holding down and watching a defenceless poliman get brutally slaughtered to death but using a white arrow is a big no no. though idk why poliman didn't just use his wings when he was first grabbed by mirai lol, unless the physics engine get yeeted again he should technically have the advantage given how mirai needs to sacrifice one of his wings to blind him, could've gone for the alligator roll tactic :P. Oh well, he was always evil for the sake of evil type villain so w/e

but damn, why Mukaidou gotta go out a legend like that. tfw the best character is already dead D:

While I think a lot of the hatred this show has gotten has been more of people following the trend of internet personalities who basically said that it wasn’t going to be good and therefore many hate it, I can’t say that this show has had the strongest performance and has certainly had some lulls and bad story beats. However, this episode made me glad that I’ve stuck around. Probably my favorite so far, and I’m looking forward to see where they go from here.

Damn. Poliman has really been defeated.

Well, it was to be expected with the backstory dump last episode. Especially, since it was shining an especially negative light upon him - to create more hype around his death.

We also lost Mukaido too. Ngl I thought he was going to get taken out before he could pull the trigger, with all those slow-mos and flashbacks going on.

The two best characters out in one episode.

Was cool all the scene of everyone monologue before Metropoliman death, but I had cold sweat seeing Mukaido with the high-caliber gun, how weak her was and with the recoil of that gun, he could really hit Mirai and Saki by accident.

Plot-wise who lost a lot was Saki, not getting the white arrow from what looks like.

Siscon got epically pwned by a LMG at close range but with as many bullets as Mukaido fired MC and FeMC would've got hit by stray shots or deflected rounds from the bones inside his body and the suit itself. The wife let him go out like a boss though

Mukaidou was one of the biggest factors in the series and at the end in hospital it was a great conclusion leading to Mukaidos death and the suit he gave Miri came in clutch when metropoliman started stabbing him but overall it was unexpected I didn’t think Metropoliman would actually get killed I thought he was the main villain but I guess not

I'm impressed. They actually killed Metropoliman this early. I suppose the hacker kid and whoever shot him with a red arrow will be the next antagonists.

The artistry in Metropoliman's death scene was actually very good and worthy of compliments. Still a bad story, though, and they killed the two best (or less bad) characters.

People actually liked this episode? It's probably the worst so far in the series. They killed the only interesting characters in the lamest, most overly dramatized way possible. I mean, it took Mikado 5 minutes to pull the trigger, then Metropoliman and MC literally had an entire discussion in the 0.01 seconds it took the bullets to reach him.

honestly with how long it was taking to get through the kanade-death scene, i thought someone was gonna pull something out of their behind and let kanade live. it was a pleasant surprise to see his soul pulled from his body and the confirmation of his death. ugh but now that lil brat is gonna be the new main villain??? we haven't seen much of the kid yet so ig we'll see how this goes.

yeah but rip mukaido, feeling very bad for his wife & daughter. hope his wife doesn't end up suffering a miscarriage because of the stress and hurt from his passing. and ngl i think they should have woken the daughter to say goodbye to her dad as he was dying. poor kid couldn't even have 1 final goodbye

I don't know. Mikado was already unconscious by then, so it's not like his daughter could really have given a meaningful goodbye. It's probably better that she didn't see him like that.

I just realized that Metropoliman died in the worst way possible. He slowly felt bullets enter his body and burst his heart. If you think about it, that normally would have been a quick almost painless death. But he didn't die instantly, he felt every inch of agonizing pain, with multiple bullets. Not to say he didn't deserve it but that was seriously brutal.

Probably one of the best episodes though, even though best character Mukiado died. Him on the death bed actually made me tear up.

Haha it was funny and satisfying to see Metro be so scared to die and begging to be let go after he killed so many innocent people mercilessly, deserved it.

They stretched this episode quite a bit though, this all could have been done in less than 20 minutes, the pacing was terribly slow. They even added manga shots in between, nice.

Ay bruv but the main villian is dead, now what? Is that kiddo going to be the new villian? I'm guessing he was the one who shot Metro with red arrow.

The pacing is really slow, they better finsih the whole anime in 2 cours, I'm gonna be so mad if I have to wait for a second season to watch how this ends.

It hurt to watch Mukaido die, felt bad for his family, well at least he left his family with loads of money so they should be fine without the earning member, though the absence of a father and husband will hurt.

Decent episode. There was no surprise factor for me here as some piece of shit spoiled it for me in the comment section of the site I was watching it on, that lil shit literally commented, "metro is killed, mukiado dies" and I was like wtf, fuck that guy I hope he gets all his anime spoiled.

Best episode so far.It give us a whole new side of the story.First time ever we see how desprerately Metropoliman want to see his sister again.I actually feel pity for him. The execution Scence was verry good with the OST. Above all is the final scene with Beret lift mukaido soul out of his body ,when the feather drop in his daughter hand i tear up a little bit.Than the sound of the machine bring everyone back to reality with Mukaido death and the feather slowly fade away signning that Mukaido is now gone foever.Best episode so far.Very hype to see the new OP,ED and antangonist next week.
