I love mountains, they’re sooo pretty. My love might just be because of how exotic they are, considering I’m from a coastal city in Australia. I did however manage to see some mountains once when I went to visit some family in Switzerland, the mountains there are absolutely breathtaking.

there are too much mountains where i live (but its good for weakening the strength of storms) so i will go with a flat large field of land just to have a change of scenery

Mountains in Alberta and BC are absolutely incredible, I visited a beautiful town in northern Italy which was near the Swiss border and the mountains were breathtaking. Mountainous terrain with lakes and trees are my favourite.

Well vegitated forests

Dockside by a lake

Flowing creeks and gentle rivers

Fields of flowers

Beaches
Canyons
Rolling fields and valleys
Streams and waterfalls
Lakes
A lone tree some place

I love watching nature shows and documentaries and looking out of the window on a train or coach somewhere going through the countryside at home and abroad.

I am OBSESSED with liminal/kenoptic landscapes, especially when they have a horror vibe to them

Here are some of my favourites (the last one isn't even a landscape but shhhh)

I love beaches, because it makes me feel like I'm standing on the end of the world and like I've seen everything.

Yes, and you can tell by the depressive vibe it's post communist.

I like lush greenery with some source of fresh water - I'm thinking like homestead.

So maybe a lower elevation Mountain forest with a stream or river nearby.

I like grayscale or monotone landscapes. White snowy forests, foggy cities with gray skies, etc. Places where the sun peeks really strongly through leaves, windows or whatever are also pretty cool.

I absolutely love forests, especially northern forests. Rain forests can look stunning as well, but I wouldn't like the climate there and I imagine a potentially deadly snake or spider everywhere.

Those pictures @xx-ludis are really cool looking... But they're not really very comfy. Not a place I really feel at home with obviously lol.

Personally, I really like the tropical scenery. I love lush environments full of palm trees, beaches, pools, and warm weather...

Whenever I go to the coastline, there's this really pleasant, calming smell in the air.

I love fields mountains and sea, especially as I came back from my vacations from Croatia where there was mountains in front of sea wonderfull views, but as mountains make me feel very tired of going uphill as my french family lives in mountains area and I am 40-50km from mountains in Poland I would rather choose plain fields/sea side for sightseeing/living, and for parties I would most definitiely choose typical european/siberian/slavic forests as they are scary in nights so it is nice to make brave tests and they are a perfect place to hold a big outside party.

This one's cool too

There's also this highway near my city that has all these tall ass trees just looming over you and it looks absolutely terrifying at night, I wish I had a picture of it because nothing on google images looks even similar to it. Sucks that I have no idea where it is either.

Forest and fields. I like to walk in forests picking berries, leaves and mushrooms so I want to live close as possible to them and seeing the wildlife is a plus. Other option is a rocky beach, fuck those sand beaches that just attract tourists. But best scenery is a winter landscape.

I actually went to one of these in China with my family. We paid a visit to my great grandparents, they live there. I took pics too.

I also love these type of tall, thin mountains in China

i like beaches! especially ones where the waves are crashing, the sand so wet to the point where slapping it makes it solid, and the water is dark. the waves crash against your torso while it tries to push you down, crabs scuttle in the water, and shells are everywhere.

I'd have to say veldts. So beautiful, especially with the wildlife.
Summertime days, passing gently
Sunlight, leading to an encounter;
Dreams that don't want to end
Continue onwards toward the next day
While she waits in the air.

Definitely in awe of mountains, especially when the sun sets into the valleys. Golden hour during Autumn is my favorite. When the leaves have changed and the air isn't so thick. I'm also fond of small villages or towns surrounded by both water and natural landscape. Germany comes to mind with its cozy architecture.

My mood changes here and there but I really like a sunset over a beach/lake with a silhouette of a canoe coasting in the distance. This lake likely has a pier with a couple enjoying a moment together or maybe a fisherman waiting patiently to catch his last fish of the day. The sand would be clear of people and the only sound you can hear is the quiet washing against the shore.
