| This would be a legit AOTS contender if not for the CG but at least it's the better kind of CG, it's passable with frame interpolation at 48fps with SVP. The two mains and premise are pretty good though and the models are nicely made. (except those generic ones of the "friend" dude) I wonder if we are getting some more dark twist later or it will be fully romance focused, would be nice if the curse plot actually moved too. The mother seemed kinda suspicious. Overall it was better than expected, if JC can keep up this quality it should be solid in the long run. But really it's a super pity it's not 2D. |

First of all gotta say , her style is pretty damn good . I really like those cross-stone-studded earrings . And she is a beauty to boot . And thighs , can't forget the thighs ...... Second of all , man does the CG not fit this at all . Like this seems like a rom-com so why ? Just use the normal kuchipaku for talking scenes . they could have used minimal animation to do this in 2d...... Well having a production committee of that size , and not even being in it would have put this on low priority for JC . Would explain it a lot I like the concept tho . A really tragic way of living , and only solace he finds is in his maid whom he dearly loves ( and not at all ashamed to admit it , like damn lad , rom-com MCs take a lesson ) . Would be even fucked up if the maids ends up ditching him as well. Seems a fun ride . But I don't know if I can keep up with it at this rate..... |

| CGI is better than High score girl I'd say. The only thing I disliked (at the beginning at least) was the maid. I just couldn't find it funny, nor amusing, how she toyed with death + made the MC very uncomfortable. Her teasing isn't funny because the guy can accidentally KILL her and this will undoubtedly ruin his life beyond repair... Second half of the episode was definitely better. |

Yeah, reading the synopsis, I was aware that the teasing would never stop, but I felt the same (possibly same) discomfort as the Duke, in a way xD. There's just too much at stake... The maid shouldn't be so aggressive when teasing. I mean, imagine if someone teased you by pointing a loaded gun to their own face and pretending to pull the trigger! That's basically what she does... pretending to commit suicide. That's just stupid from Maid's side and can traumatize Duke for life if mistake happens lol. I don't know... The second part of the episode was so good I'm willing to tolerate the first half and all those ecchi moments. Though hopefully they won't overuse boob-leg tease every episode to a point I get bored... Nagatoro also started with repetitive ecchi shit, but it kind of mellowed down after some episodes. Hopefully this one will also switch to "wholesome teasing" eventually. |

| I wasn't expecting much, but this exceeded my expectations! I'd almost compare it to an odd fusion between Nagatoro and Beauty and the Beast. I love both main characters already and I'm looking forward to how Bocchan and Alice's relationship develops. Also the opening is wonderful, both in terms of animation and music (speaking of, the CG was pretty well-implemented as far as CG in anime goes). Poor Bocchan :( My dawg's been abandoned by pretty much everyone except for Alice (although I spotted some characters in the opening. Maybe Bocchan makes some more friends later on?). That last scene was also pretty beautiful, from an animation and a story standpoint, and the connection with the white wilted rose was pretty clever. Definitely keeping up with this one! |

| I had my doubts in the beginning about whether this premise really needs full-length episodes, but this first one ended up flying by. 3DCG crybabies can keep crying for all I care, at least it has movement. High Score Girl won over people's hearts and I don't see any reason why this won't. |

| I disagree with some of those on here about the CGI used in this anime.Yes,it might take a bit of getting used to,but I thought the same of Knights of Sidonia,and I love that anime! I like where this seems to be going,and I love the OP/ED,esp the animations during both(the ED anim was a bit spooky,but it fit the song and the show) Alice's design is gorgeous,and I love the facial expressions she uses(and body language) to get a rise out of Bocchan :D All in all,I didn't think i'd enjoy this as much as I did,well,tbh,I didn't even know about it until the first ep showed up,so I thought I'll watch it while I wait for Tantei wa Mou, Shindeiru. I'm glad I did. |

| That's weird seeing JC Staff done the full cg show, or am i forgetting something about JC other show? I know the cg be done by the other name. But, still, its weird. Anyway, i am clearly not the one that had the capacity to talk about that. So, lets end it right about now. However, i shall let my opinion get out. Because the cgi undoubtedly become the aspect i dislike about the show. Surely its not the same level of disaster like Ex-Arm or kumo anime from the previous two season. But, its still not as good as like Beastars, or orange level of cg, imho. So, yeah, that's the minus for me, unfortunately. The story wise seems entertaining so far. Curse shit. Too dark. Bad mother. Completed. I feels bad for Bocchan already. Hopefully the voluptuous childhood maid will stop her teasing sekuhara shit completely and start some good romance at once. Because its not that good, even if its just a comedic relief, on my point of view. But, oh right, the previous season also got the same teasing sekuhara shit master on it, even though this two clearly a different type of show. So, yeah, hopefully its goes on the same direction of wholesomeness, or the show just be fucked up. That's it all from me.... |

| This could have been way better with conventional animation, CGI adds nothing to it, even if its actually pretty decently blended. I like the story though, which is why i will stick around for the moment. |
| I honestly disliked the visuals for this. The 3d is just... meh to me. But the story does have potential. The two of them are pretty sweet at times and I can see the dynamics improving in the future |

| woooah full cg. never really was a fan of cg but id say this is the good kind of cg, at least atm. still a lil distracting sometimes but its not unbearable and i can still enjoy the show man i really thought(mostly hoped) that phillip would be a friend but of course not ,, still kinda hoping his sister would tho. the scenes after phillip left were my favorite especially that last one with the white rose |

| I came for some fun cute boing boing teasing, but what I got was pain. The second half was pretty sad, but that scene with the wilted flower was so sweet though. Let's go Bocchan, I hope they manage to remove the curse someday, he deserves to touch the thiccness lmao. Alice is really hot. The CG is pretty good as well, doesn't bother me at all. Looking forward to the next episode, this was a good start. The OP is good, but I really loved the transition to the ED. |

| I read the manga some before, but felt it wouldn't make a good anime with any of its elements aside some cuteness and fanservice, because basically it seemed like there won't be ANY progression nor change for what will make up the whole first season. Now that i actually see the show, think its even worse because they're using 3d CGI, which on its own doesn't look TOO bad this time around, but it doesn't look great either, what's worse, its rendered at 30, or even more likely 24 fps, which makes it look horribly choppy, and the backgrounds are done in this odd grainy painting style, as if drawn on fabric, but only half the time, the other half is done in normal or even lazy drawings. A lot of the shot composition also make it seem like the people adapting this have no idea how to work a camera and what they're doing, so that's a definite drop for me. |

Which is why i wasn't looking to seeing this show adapted, and now that it IS, and in choppy 24fps CGI too, i have no hope for it |
