| Thighs are back and now with pantyhose, nice! I really liked the episode, it's new characters and a different setting but still gives the same vibe as the previous series. The fight was pretty hype with that nice CG and the OP in the background. One thing is for sure though, it's going to be hard to top Rika and Akane. But it's a good start so far. |

| Oh yeah, definitely keeps the same vibes as Gridman, I love it. This will be just as good as Gridman or maybe even better. So far, I am really liking the characters. In Gridman SSSS means Special Signature to Save a Soul, for Dynazenon it means Scarred Souls Shine Like Stars and they revealed it at the beginning which is interesting because for Gridman we didn't know what SSSS stands for until the last episode. My guess is the Scarred Soul refers to Minami? Or maybe even all of them. Gauma is a pretty interesting dude and he can control Kaijus if he had his powers, that's dope. I wonder if he's like a hyper agent too or something or if he's from the hyper world. This world is probably also a computer world, but who created it this time I wonder. Well, really looking forward to the next episode. That insert song when Dynazenon was fighting is definitely the same band that did Union, let's fucking go, that must be the OP. I popped for the hot dog, I think it's such an iconic thing now in the Gridman universe lmao. |

| Ever since Gridman showered us with a different world and its characters, we've been hoping that Dynazenon will be something similar yet surprisingly different. Let's hope this show to works the same magic and a whole new character cult. | Liking it more than Gridman - so far. Girls not that sexy. (Well ... not yet. Maybe some of them will get sexier presantation in future episodes.) But from ther personalities ... all the chars seem interesting. And nice to have 4 people in that robot. A bit different. I guess the Kaiju always appear near the Minami girl and that is why "something is wrong" with her? Senpai and the other girl seem to have an interesting relationship. :D |
| damn, Trigger never fails to impress me especially those kaiju fights. and now we got some Super Robot vibe here while Griddman is kinda Ultraman-ish I guess.. that's so cool! sorry but I couldn't unsee Minami as bootleg Rikka.. .. yet:(( but overall the characters are great so far. looking forward to it. btw does this show has some OG tokusatsu just like ssss.Gridman had? or is it brand new in Gridman universe? |

I never said I hadn't seen gridman? I have and I liked it - I'm just excited to see what they do next with it because I liked how the world of Gridman was built lol. |

| Starting off really strong, and if the rest of the season is more of the same I think it could shape up to be better than Gridman. I'm also very interested to see if and how they tie this show in with Gridman. |

| Great start. Amazing character designs and CG. I love how the directing is extremely slow paced during the non action scenes and it becomes fast paced during the action scenes. Trigger is saving anime once again. Also, waiting for this  |

| Fantastic start, they're already transforming into dinosaurs and blast each other off in space in first ep. Can't wait for more, this is all I need from mecha, some fun over the top bullshit, great mech design and likeable characters and this ep got all of that. |
| The SSSS.X series has the most unique kind of animation style (especially with the beautiful eyes) and also a very unique style of character speech patterns. The synchro sounds different then the usual kind, that is also a reason why the characters feel way more unique. |

| Rather boring start in my opinion, but gridman's first episode was similar and later it got really good, so hopefully it's the same case here. I'll keep on watching it. |

| I think this is my first ever mecha anime I watched despite watching anime in general for 10+ years bc I always found mecha anime appalling but goddamn this is awesome, the character designs are beautiful, the story seems very intriguing and the robots in combat made me gasp, genuinely awesome |
| I've actually been looking forward to this one, though I still have no expectations. It's impossible to tell much from one episode. So far it's not terrible but it's not exactly gripping for me either. The cast seemed overcrowded. I wondered what the purpose of them all were until at the end it was revealed, oh, they're going to be some sort of Power Rangers-like group. No comments on any of them at this point really, except I find it kind of obvious (if it was intentional) that a girl named Yume (Dream) has trouble keeping her promises. I don't mind that so much, just saying! Anyone actually reading this thread wondering if they should see SSSS.Gridman first, watch SSSS.Gridman because it's good, not because it's required to see this. So far this seems like it will be a stand alone story, which is fine if so, but it could also have connections to the previous. I suspect maybe so especially since in the original Gridman we had the vechiles that made up Dyna Dragon and Xenon, which the titular "Dynazenon" seems to be a portmanteau of, combining with Gridman. So he could show up and team up with these new characters easily. But who knows at this point. Bring on the rest of the show. |

| Just like its predecessor, I'm watching this simply for the story and I'm not interested in the mecha aspect of it at all. But I can already tell that the CGI and actual fights are already better than Gridman. Just hope that the story remains somewhat as interesting as this episode. |

| Awesome Episode. I'm more of a fan of "normal" Kaiju fights (Ultraman Style) than the Super Sentai Style. I was never a fan of Power Rangers but I still liked the First Episode And just look at those characters! UM 👌 On a side note: WTF With the ratings I know Mecha Anime aren't well liked by the mainstream public but I just can't explain all these 1s. Are we really getting a bot Attack from haters like @JizzyHitler implied? Though that also would explain the votes on Back arrow Epsiode 13. |

| Man, I spent the entire first half of the episode cheerily half-forgetting that this was a mech anime because I expected mostly character introductions on episode one I spent the entire second half pogging out of my absolute gourd This was EVERYTHING I wanted and hoped for - the mech even looks like friggin' GaoGaiGar and operates like the Megazord, and then just casually henshin's itself into a goddamn dragon mid-attack Oh TRIGGER, you really do know how to spoil a man~ |
| I really don't like any of these characters right now but I'll give them a couple more episodes to grow on me. The episode itself was disjointed and really didn't come together well, that I'll also give a couple more episodes. Right now I'm giving this the benefit of the doubt only because I enjoyed Gridman. |
