| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This episode is like an example of David vs Goliath. Despite being outmatched, I like Kumoko's determination and how she does anything to survive underground. The new monster is no joke but luckily, Kumoko is pretty fast in terms of speed. I'm actually quite impressed at how much Kumoko adapted her environment and used clever tactics to overcome obstacles. There's a lot of nasty monsters down there. |

| Well, that was quite intense to see. A lot of strong monsters are starting to show up. Thanks to Kumoko's increase in speed skill. She was able to get away. Also, her venom is quite strong. But, damn this is surely getting more and more interesting. On contrary, Julius is quite a strong warrior. Would be pretty interesting to see how he'll go as a character as the show will progress further. |

| Kumoko is great with her new evolution she looks very strong with her sharps legs... I thought that Julius was going to fight her but seems like it was another spider which looked very scary to be honest... it's quite weird, I wonder what will happen now seems like there is another evil kingdom or something |

| Well here is itagaki showing why he can be a great director, even if the hero fight was kinda confusing to watch, the rest of the episode had some great and creative storyboards, which is what itagaki truly excells at. Oh and although i said the hero fight was hard to follow, it was actually done pretty well in terms of animation and CG, the characters moved pretty well and the 3D for the big spiders were probably the best in the entire series, i was expecting them to fail in adapting the fight, but they actually kinda did it justice. It was again a pretty entertaining episode, kumoko`s part was good as always, although i do think that they kinda rushed the explanation of parallel minds which i think might cause some confusion within anime onlys. Oh and at the end they show my least favourite character finally becoming an edge boy (he kinda already was tho). |

| This show is so hard to watch if you’re afraid of spiders lol.. Animation during the tesseract vs Hero fight was pretty cool. I wonder what that white tesseract was afraid of though. I really like Kumoko’s new golden form. The split personality skill is gonna be fun too. As we all guessed, the Prince is jealous of Yamada and is probably going to try to take him out. |

| More trouble for Kumoko in the Middle Stratum, and gaining skills to become Tarzan is just part of the fight equation. The fight against the eel was so heart-pumpingly nervous, though Kumoko can evolve yet once again. The Elroe 3-min prep was such a baller move, as if Kumoko's hosting her own show. Well, what an eel TURD, and the Zoa Ele evolution is a massive upgrade, especially with the Parallel Minds slill. Well sure, it doesn't take long for the taratect Demon Lord to show itself to the Heroes, and even if they can't beat it by stats alone, at least a collective effort is made possible. The meet between both sides will have to wait sometime in the future... |

| My guess is the spider is afraid of that demon lord. After seeing those group of spides, i cam see now that kumoko can become more powerful. |

| Protagonist spider finally unlocked the ability to successfully control the schizophrenia, that is probably going to lend to more mental gymnastics that make this show fun to watch when the spider is on screen. If she already had mental gymnastics with herself all the time, both in combat and outside, I can't imagine the discussions they are going to pull. If it wasn't for the spider, I would have already dropped this cus the human characters are so generic and boring for now on how they are written that help balance out the enjoyment i get every episode from loving the episode to just being ok with it. I can already notice finally in this episode that this isn't happening at the same time as the spider side, and for how attached the guy is to his brother they probably where born in this world, instead of taking control of a character, which feels weird for them to develop that so early into the show. This is going to be a 24 ep show, why do i have to look at the human side that happens probably like 15 years or more into the future. Also, finally an anime that increses the fps in the 3d fights, really nice to see such a smooth sequence with the spider fightihng the eel |
| Looks like someone I forgot his name (cause human fillers are not that great to remember their name) is here for revenge from what happened in episode 3. There is gonna be a huge conflict on the next episode. |

| Another great episode. Also, the CGI use is actually improving since ep 4. More drawn Kumoko, less CGI Kumoko. Monsters are more detailed, move more and are slightly blurred to try mask CGI. Definitely an improvement compared to the crap we had to watch in the first 3 episodes. "Parallel thought" lol, more like saxe2 said: schizophrenia Finally someone calling it with its name xD It's not really a spoiler. All characters are reborn into the new world, so at the reincarnation time, when Kumoko was just born from her egg, the other classmates reincarnated as humans were 0 days old infants too. Kumoko has been just born in her story that is currently narrated, while the reincarnated humans are young adults in their story that is currently narrated. So clearly the second timeline is enough years forward to make infants grow into young adults. |

| The CG monsters looked and moved much better in this episode than in the previous ones (although the liquid poison looked pretty bad coming out of the lava eel). The action was decent enough throughout the episode and the story is getting more interesting. Solid episode overall. |
| An excellent episode! Everything was very good, now we just need to know why the fear of the spider ... although I think it has to do with the demon king, or demon queen? I expected to see Kumo-chan fight against the hero, but now I see it is still a small spider compared to the others Teen dramas, I understand them but I can't stand them, besides that up to where they have lived at least more than 20 years in total in their two lives, isn't it? Well, hormones lol I hope the next chapter is something unpleasant after this, I hope that his majesty will get a good beating if he learns to behave like this |

| People complaining (for no reason) about the human side Author: allow me to introduce the demons side lmao Aaahhh I can't wait to hear the 8th Demon Army Commander's voice aka best boy. I wonder if I can hear it in the next episode already... Some people have noticed that the timeline is different which is good, but the human side is not only there to point that out, in the episode where Kumoko says something about magic we cut to the school explaining about magic, when Taboo raises a level we go to the crazy child saying the Church hunts everyone that has even one level of it, Kumoko evolved to Zoa ere and we were shown the Hero fighting one of the some species which gives an ideia about the balance in power level between monsterxhumans, which is what the dragon fight was suppose to do as well, but CGi ruined it. It took a handful of powerfull individuals to kill a lesser species of a dragon when Kumoko saw a full dragon.... I personally only have one person on the human.... ok, a couple, but out of the ones shown already, only two, that I actually like, but the worldbuilding this side provides is good/essencial, a lot of clues about the main plot appear there, so just focus on gathering those for now. |
| Kumoko once again (barely) managed to defeat a much stronger foe, jumping a whopping 3 levels at once! Well done little spider! That spider ("Nightmare's Vestige" I believe) the Hero and his team beat surely looked a lot like Kumoko, didn't it? I wonder if Kumoko is going to evolve into that; since she prefers "small but fast" I doubt she is ever going to be like these three big-ass spiders that were guarding it. So I guess this might mean that the big spiders are the brawn and the small spiders the brains, though that might be an over-generalization. This guy at the end (Hugo Baint Renxandt) is a pitiful arrogant narcissist who I hope will soon get his ass kicked by his (assumed by him as) "nemesis" Schlain Zagan Analeit. He thought this entire world existed just for him wow.. That is taking solipsism to a whole new level! I think someone needs to break the 4th wall for a bit and remind him that he is a merely a supporting character, not the main lead of the show ^.^ |

| As a person who appreciates character awakenings and immense growth in power spurred by conflict or an innate desire to protect, I most of the time like some serious shit going down to justify the scene. But this spider show has thrown my entire perspective on what makes an epic power up into new realms of appreciation. The comedy and fun are so on point here with all the mad skill level ups I cant help but be engrossed too see what skills come next. And with the main story theme seeming to run low key with another peak this eps with an actual demon lord involved I have to save I am loving it! |
