| I was really wondering how they would do show how much suffering he been through, but they did it in a great way, tbh it was a great start. And y'all who are saying the "rape" in this scene is in any way comparable with what's to come just STOP, you know that's bullshit. The whole intention behind the scene is fap fodder. Don't get me wrong I can appreciate some good jiggle physics, but this was cheesy af. I'm just.. so disappointed. The premise is interesting but the execution falls flat and the intent behind it is gross. It's fine to show rape and other messed up content in anime as long as it's treated with proper seriousness. Just call the bad thing bad! But this show won't do that because to the target audience rape is a turn on. In the end all this amounts to is a mediocre self insert fantasy so incels with a victim complex can get off while thinking of the princess as every woman who has insulted them on the internet. Ain't nobody here is for moral lesson brother... Lmao |

| It was good, I feel like it doesn't do justice to the LN or the manga: I didn't read them, but with what I heard it was much more stubborn and difficult to see, so I thought it would be something incredible, but it wasn't. the animation was ... decent, I guess it was okay for a show like this, I wasn't expecting to get the best animation in the world, but it was okay. I also felt like it was lacking more blood (mostly in the scene where the demons kill the heroine at the beginning of the episode), and the scene where the maids have sex with keyaru, really? only that? I thought it would be more stubborn, it also lasted very little and the only thing that was shown was the breasts, for the manga readers, is there like that or was it a longer scene? | Ep 1 stopped too soon. But it seems like it will end past where the manga is if it keeps 4 manga chapters = 1 ep = whatever in novel length, interesting... That said, it does seem it will be properly uncensored. However, if I remember correctly, some things were shown and explained already at the start, so the whole part of him getting abused was quite toned down if that's the case. And it's quite weird since the show shown naked titties (male nipples too wow props to the studio for drawing them) and full fledged sex scenes with explicit-implicit frames as well (explicit because you could see the whole body including below waist involved in sexual intercourse naked, implicit because it was softcore-porn-ish without any genitals, pubes or direct penetration showed but instead everything was either cropped or conveniently censored by angles/reach around thighs), so toning down the rape on MC stuff would be quite the debatable choice. One good thing is that at least they will keep up with the very explicit ecchi bits of sexually active (instead of passive victim) Keyaru, that is what matters. I mean, look at the amazing art style! They really stayed faithful to the art style of the original illustrator for the manga. (Fun fact: the manga illustrator, Shiokonbu, for anyone out of the hentai loop, is very specialized in stories involving very thicc big titty girls and the main themes of the stories often involve drugs and ptsd lol, a lot of them are not wholesome at all, but I remember reading a super wholesome one about a husband helping his wife get past her drug addiction that she had acquired due to war ptsd while he was away) |
