| If true, good. Kissanime is probably the worst pirate streaming site nowadays. If outright banning people who used adblockers in their ad cluttered website wasn't enough of a hint to leave it, maybe that'll do. Literally any other site was better than it after that point. And nothing of value will be lost. |

| I don't use KissAnime nowadays as I have enough to pay for streaming sites (still have to pirate though as not everything I want to watch is available legally), but I did when I first got into anime years ago (watched FMA, To Love Ru & most of Fairy Tail on Kiss). I created my first watch list on KA and built up a catalog of ptw titles as well. It may not have been the greatest site, but as others have already pointed out, it did have a huge database of anime and manga and I knew that if I couldn't find an obscure anime anywhere else then at least I could watch it on KissAnime. Well not anymore. I have a feeling that 9anime are affiliated with Kiss is some way? Many of the vids have the KissAnime watermark. If they take down 9anime and AnimeHeaven then I'm screwed, although as long as there's demand another pirate site will pop up, I hope. Although I have Funimation and Crunchyroll subscriptions, they still only account for 2/3rds of all the anime I watch. So many shows are only available on pirate sites (recently I couldn't find Kenpuu Denki Berserk dub, Katangatari & Kamisama Kiss to stream legally in the UK so had to use a pirate site). |

Piracy is a very subjective subject that many people have different views on (especially in regarding to anime piracy), but no one can deny how big Kissanime was and how many people used it. It was even bigger then Crunchyroll at some point. And yes pirate sites have limited life spans (because they are literally doing something illegal), but it is still kinda sad to see such a big site being snapped out of existence. |

| I stopped using Kissanime long ago when their site was down and came back with those weird captcha, never used Kissmanga to begin with so it doesn't make any difference to me, I just hope that they don't take down other sites as well, there's hardly any content available in my country legally. |

| For the last couple months I got into anime using Kissanime and Kissmanga. Even though the ads are annoying and time consuming, this is sad. Found some other alternatives that are better, but the other websites won’t be like the comment section that Kissanime and Kissmanga had. |
As much as i hate the site it has a special place in my heart.The size of the library, them annoying nsfw ads, the unique capcha will miss them forever. It always felt so good to have the power to go to kiss even if i didnt use it . The years i spent battling those shit ads and waiting 10 sec before downloading are a sweet memory.Sed.RIP kissanime. Wonder what sites will go next? . But it's 2020 so nothing is impossible i guess... |
