| Subaru, my guy even hitting his shots when he can with witchs, actually a mad lad. Remember folks, you miss 100% of the shots you don't take. hohoho long time no see, if it aignt the bitch herself. Ngl definitely getting a weird sense of Déjà vu considering the first person to continually give Subaru a hard time in s1 was her, and guess whos the first person this season to make sure Subaru resets a few more times? Yep good old Bowell Hunter, can't miss her, cus if you do your bowells are probably already spread across the floor like a hopscotch draw out. Mmmmh so theres more to Frederica then what we saw, she seemed to have definitely planned ahead with the current situation and doesn't seem like someone to really trust. Also what ever "question" Roswaal wants Beatrice to spill if things go south, i'm really not looking forward to. Seems like a lot of people would get hurt if so. Eeeeeh opinion on Roswaal definitely has changed, really it feels more like he's using Emilia with how much information he's holding back from her, and i wouldn't even call Subaru and him "partners in crime" just "they have similar goals that collide with each other, just Roswaal has the more laid back job while Subaru breaks teeth and bone to make sure that he reaches his goal while coincidentally piggy-backing Roswaal" but i'm honestly surprised Subaru didn't give him a bigger yelling at, i mean sure if Roswaal didn't do what he did, a lot of events wouldn't happen, but on Subaru's side, from Roswaal dipping its more or less what cause Subaru to fucking snap in s1 after seeing everyone dead twice over, i would of honestly tried to express the amount of pain that Roswaal's one choice managed to do to someone. Ahhhh Garfiel is really just a lad, i'm sure once you get to know him he'd be a pretty chill guy, maybe a bit rough around the edges but definitely a bro who'd give some pretty good life advice. |

| i know it cant be helped to cut scenes but whhhyyy are they omitting contents with the witch of envy??? :( is it spoiler if i say things they skipped in the anime but shouldve happened based from the novel? the witch of envy was supposed to show up or atleast a shadow like figure of her after subaru left the classroom and tried to attack echidna just because shes meddling with subaru. shes quite possessive. even echidna jokes that she wants to give her title of greed up when envy is around lol |

| I wonder, if Echidna realizes that Subaru is from another world.. If she saw such concepts as school and stuff from recreation of his memories.. And if Echidna knows that Subaru is from another world.. Wonder, if she will do something about that?.. Can she even use this information to her advantage, I wonder?.. I mean, maybe she can try to research the power which is behind the "teleportation" or however you'd call it.. Or maybe something else.. I wonder.. Well, of course Subaru should be thankful for this trial by Echidna.. She pretty much solved his old life in matter of a day or like that.. His whole life would change, really.. She's quite a therapist, lol.. ;P Though, I also don't really understand, why Echidna is surprised by Subaru thanking her.. It doesn't make much sense.. Like.. Did she fix Subaru's life, not understanding it?.. Is that it?.. This also might be partially to the thing that Echidna might expect everyone being hostile to her.. As she says "you have right to punch my face.." Roswaal said he set this Witch Cult attack event?.. And for what?.. For Emilia to "claim credit"?.. Is that the means Roswaal thinks that Emilia can become more popular, and people more love her?.. Well, if that's truly is the reasoning.. I think that Roswaal is actually not the guy, who is intimidating, and cool, and smart.. He's actually that careless of a character, huh?.. A bit unexpected.. I mean, it took many resets for Subaru, and most of times Emilia was killed herself as well.. Well, ok, my opinion of Roswaal changed.. Roswaal is actually not powerful, but careless, huh.. Understood.. Word "careless" really suits him.. Unless he knows about Subaru's powers to come back from being dead.. But if that's not the case, Roswaal really is careless.. |

But the Anime is using the Light Novel as source, not the WN, sure, because the WN is just like an unfinished script. Every translation that you will find in the internet is the WN, because it is free and was not licenced in western. Nobody is fan-translating the LN because it is widely licenced worldwide. |

| Echidna on Subaru's trial surely served nicely with that school uniform. She was satisfied enough. But, Subaru came in there because of the mistake. So, yeah, Echidna must received the result without any other words spoken. The condition of Emillia for sure was a complete mess. Her whole trial still blurred. But somehow i could imagine some of their old past, thanks to the prequel movie. The problem there was, why she couldn't pass it? Skipped to Roswall confrontation about what happened from the previous events, Subaru's madness was understandable. However, this whole 'conspiration' felt more confusing than the previous matter. I might be smelt any other intentions that Ros had to Emilia in the previous season. His whole plans and the resource of his confidence were all still hidden. So, yeah, i couldn't judge her action there now. But, for sure his explanations kinda intrigueing for the next plot story. Just, i felt so pity with Subaru's positions there. He couldn't do anything except just being okay and aggreed with his whole successful 'determined conditions'. Oh, well, the checkpoint had been made, there. Congratulations, Subaru! Even with that designated cliffhanger. Once again, congratulations, and, welcome back, o, greet, assasin! |

"You look pretty good in that uniform." - Subaru That school uniform does suit her well. It's interesting to know that she's Sanctuary's trial moderator. Her recreating Subaru's memories is very beneficial to Subaru's resolve. He passed the first trial with flying colors. I do feel bad for Emilia tho. She didn't pass her trial and was left traumatized. Subaru comforting her is very generous of him. Really great episode overall. It just keeps getting better and better. |

| Subaru ~ "You look pretty good in that uniform." I agree While Subaru passed the first trials, Emilia couldn't, over and over again. However, it's quite understandable since her problem is arguable vastly deeper than Subaru's. After all, she has lived in a world that despised her for her appearance and discriminated against her without despite how she actually is. Roswaal is right, but damn if it's not infuriating to hear how everything that has happened was all due to his decision not to interfere. All he saw is Subaru managing to create a close alliance with Crusch and saving the mansion and the villagers while simultaneously taking down the witch cultists' attackers. He never did get to see pile of corpses that Subaru has sacrificed for all that to be a reality. Starting to like Garfiel, he's right about Emilia not having the conviction to truly ace her past. Well, none of that matters for now that Subaru's belly is sliced open, guts spilling out by Elsa. No time no see... |

| Conquering your past is very hard indeed. Subaru proved to have a strong spirit. This ending was great. Like, too bad that Subaru died, but Elsa returned and we will see another restart! I wonder in which moment the checkpoint is gonna be placed at. |

| That's true, The test this time is not just one round but three rounds. Dealing with the past sounds easy, but if you receive difficult memories it must be painful. I don't know what Emilia is dreaming about but looking at her expression it seems like a terrible memory. Emilia mentions "Dad" but who is Emilia's father, which is definitely not Rosewall. They try and try to beat the first test but Emilia still has a hard time accepting her past. What is Rosewall expecting? What did he mean by Evil Companion, was Rosewall also a witch of sect, idk really... This is make me confused. The reason that Rosewall disclosed when he left the mansion was also far-fetched and had other purposes. Keeping it secret from Emilia was very difficult for Subaru, but at least Subaru had to keep it a secret because if it was exposed then Emilia would fail at the queen selection. They returned to the mansion to do something, I also don't understand this myself. Besides, leaving Emilia alone was a bad idea. Subaru had to be near Emilia. I don't want to comment about Echidna wearing a school uniform or this scnee who is similar to Monogatari because it is nonsense and has nothing to do with this eps. So yeah, this is a bad end~ And also 10/10 for this eps |

| I thought Subaru's return to the mansion has so much tension, since the lighting was very dark. When he tripped over blood and guts, I thought those were the remains of Petra, I was tensed and was relief to find out it was just Subaru guts instead. and it looks like Best Girls is back in the series, Elsa. Now that our protagonist is dead, I wonder how far back is he resetting the world, I wonder if those traumatic rituals that Emilia will be for naught, since Subaru will piledriver through it and come home sooner and defend the mansion from Elsa? I'm starting to like the show gradually, each episode and twists at every corner. |

| Emilia is definitely not passing the trial anytime soon. I can't blame Garfiel for thinking that Subaru should do it instead. As soon as I saw the mansion looking red from the sunset that there would be a big cliffhanger but I didn't expect the knife women to return so suddenly. |

| Subaru was pretty smooth at the smart with that Echidna school uniform compliment, I have to say. That was better than literally most of his lines for Emilia until now. This was an episode, not bad but nothing too exciting either with some things to note as well with Subaru's conversation with Roswaal, and his later convo with Garfiel regarding Emilia's well-being and mental state when it comes to dealing with her trial since she clearly looks like she won't be passing anytime soon given how much her past seems to have clouded over her compared to Subaru who passed his trial fairly easily. The actual pace of the episode despite a bunch of different conversations happening, felt a bit sluggish to get through in my opinion so there was a hint of a boring feel to it even with condensed conversations. That's just Re:Zero struggling with weak material in that aspect to go with average production quality. Elsa's back too, she took her sweet time for coming back for Subaru's bowels but she kept her promise somehow. |

| Well the villagers are back and Emilia still has to get through the trial. Meanwhile Subaru back at the mansion encounters Elsa. She pretty much didn't appear for most of the first season. Now I wonder where's his restart point gonna be? |

| Too many allusions to things that happened before or lore from the LN world to be comprehensible. Is it the dub? Everything is so damn confusing all the time, might switch back to sub. I'm just not really understanding what's happening most of the time. I watched S1...I thought. Lore is neat but not when the references are hitting this hard and fast and certain lines in the dub aren't really spoken clearly. This season is falling flat for sure. |
