| Subaru really trying his best to fix everything, glad to see he didn't show his usual repulsive childish attitude this episode :D Next episode with the maids should be a blast ^^ The only thing I'm not sure of is the end road as in Subaru's main true goal in being summoned here. |

| honestly this main char is the most annoying piece of sh ive ever seen in an anime. its like come the FCUK ON BROSKI. some people are saying this writing is GOOD? LMFAOOOO PLS. his dialogue is awkward as fuck and he literally is spending his time making us as the audience cringe. look i can get how some people are saying that how he is responding to everything and all the stress is written well for a "normal" person, but honestly imo i dont watch these types of shows to see a "normal" boring protag. all of this is just imo ofc and and it really bugs me cuz im literally the exact opposite of this guy LMAO. like i would have jumped off the fcukin cliff so fast because theres obv a higher power at work here, so u could just "reset". like this dude is a straight up idiot. but then again they've implied that/straight out said that so it "fits the narrative". |

| Somehow this episode made me very, very suspicious of Emilia. There's the fact that she picked the name of the Jealous Witch as a pseudonym (I didn't buy Subaru's explanation for that at all. It made zero sense) - but what really did it for me was during the lap-pillow scene when she asked "It's been rough, hasn't it?" Where did that come from? Dunno what's going on, but the innocent act suddenly seems like a huge facade. |

| Extremely emotional episode, but i do really felt we needed this kind of episode for subaru.. n finally a episode with no cliffhangers xD quite interesting how subaru is the element shadow ??! uhuhu might explain some things maybe but who knows, just made my head spin with ideas ! xD either way i love this episode! ^^ |

| Man, Subaru shouting in that annoying and cringeworthy voice for almost the entire episode made me want to punch him in the face. Still, seeing him finally breakdown in Emilia's lap was quite emotional. Arachnophobic said: Somehow this episode made me very, very suspicious of Emilia. | Nice to learn some more about magic from Puck. Wow, I thought Subaru would get killed earlier now with the way he was acting. Rem was clearly being suspicious this time. Having to hold all of that in damn.. That lap pillow *A* *jealousy intensifies* still it was a really great scene I actually teared up a little. Emilia was really great this episode, liking the chemistry between them. It also seems like Rem is more trustworthy towards Subaru now. So the curse thing actually happened in the village... I guess it wasn't actually a curse. Like how the twins keep teasing him about the lap pillow. Ram's smile at the end too good! |

| Glad to see he's back to normal. I still find the whole situation with Rem weird since she killed him (and in a not so pretty fashion) twice just out of suspicion. At least Ram had vengeance as her motive in her attempt to kill him because he wouldn't, well couldn't, tell her what he knew so it made him look like a culprit. Also, thought his first death at the mansion was due to being poisoned but I guess it was a curse. What if it was the dog when it bit him? xD |

| Episode 8: Good episode, I find great that Emilia and Puck helped Subaru with the lap pillow scene. Rem won't kill Subaru this time hopefully. Subaru thinks that the cause of the curse is in the village, personally I think that the one that put the curse is not in the village, but inside the house. 5/5 |

Ahem! if(villain == dog) Bow before me mortals. else Ignore this. on the character side, i feel the despair point in Subaru came far too soon. Yes he has died four times now, but in only the last one of them did he see his failure to change the timeline affect someone else, someone he cares about. a few more failures, at the least two more times would have made that scene better by that amount. |

| Wow...it's becoming difficult to list all of the things that I enjoy every episode. Seeing Subaru's mental breakdown take affect and Emilia catch onto it...and then take the initiative to calm him down...in a really peaceful environment...in a really caring way...and have Subaru feel entirely vulnerable, causing him to spill all of his emotions to her... that's honestly something out of a fantasy for me. I absolutely love Emilia's character... she is incredible. I've grown fully attached to the cast and the desire to understand more...the comedy is actually pretty good and it holds you tight like a thriller. I'm trying to avoid my temptation to rate it a 10 straightaway, as I always force myself to wait until the end. |

| The pillow lap was so cute. For some reason I doubt it's as easy as it being one of the villagers but then again, the show does tend to just show it to us without any big twists. Maybe it's Puck, he's been touching Subaru aswell, rather Subaru keeps touching Puck and Beatrice mentioned that only Puck and herself were able to place a curse like that. |

He never seemed shocked or surprised by getting slung into this shitty fantasy world. The realism of the character is out the window right there already. |

Maybe because one of Subaru's wet dream to start his shitty life irl anew by transporting to an another world came true and is too ecstatic pondering what Cheat ability he might get instead of worrying the reality of him being alone in a strange land? Do bear in mind that Subaru is written to subvert tropes of template Isekai MC (like the MC of Isekai Smartphone) in the Web Novel site it's originated from, Shousetsuka ni Narou, so it's completely okay to miss the nuances the show has in general given that most people are not familiar with the isekai template has in the said site. |

| I was honestly so scared for Subaru throughout this episode because he's doing his best to win the trust of the twins even though it's exhausting him which exhausts me, too, because I'm so concerned for him. Haha. I just don't want this man to suffer again. Subaru found out that his attribute is a shadow which can obstruct an opponent's vision, blocks sound, slow movements, and things like that. That Shamac sure terrified him since I think it reminded him when he tried to tell Emilia about his ability. Puck helped him release his manna and he just released a black smoke which I think is associated with his attribute. Lmfao. This episode made me love Emilia more when she's comforting Subaru while he's crying on her lap (which he asked beforehand, so Emilia obliged). Subaru needed that so much. Glad Emilia noticed that there's something wrong with Subaru and he needed comforting. I wasn't expecting I'm gonna cry so hard. Thank you, Emilia. I love her so much. Glad Subaru has Emilia. ;-; "Subaru is a good person." - Emilia Me: Yes, believe her, Rem. Waaaaaaah! I know you're loyal to your masters, but please goddamn believe Emilia on this one. Subaru is a very good person. Waaaaah. Every question I have is being answered one by one. So, the curse came from the village where Rem and Subaru went. Beatrice as always is so useful and always there to help Subaru despite her being a tsundere towards him. Hihi. Subaru carrying Beako while thanking her. Hahahaha. What a baby. | Not really much progression aside from the new lead and the new fresh mental state Subaru has right now after letting it all out while laying on Emilia's lap. Subaru's knowledge both in information, skills, and ability (magic) are rapidly increasing. I know these will be very useful for the future so these moments are crucial for him. |
