| Cute and comfy episode. 7/10 at now. Great background art, I'm not a big fan of the Satelight studio, but it looks really good, same as a lot of different fantasy creatures (this setting is already better than your typical fantasy DnD world in generic isekai). However, dialogues are kinda meh and the "little girl - robot" relationships are used a lot of times before in different stories, so it will be hard to tell something new in this sub-genre. I hope that it will be something like Kino's Journey or Girls' Last Tour. |

| Is it too early to say I already have my AOTS? Great landscapes, good OST, good concept and a very refreshing fantasy setting. Suddenly, my faith for the Fantasy genre has been restored. I really like the chemistry between Somali and the Golem, seems like this journey is going to be heartwarming, while possibly being sad. |

| Definitely my Iyashikei show of the Season! (alongside Koisuru Asteroid, I reckon) It took me just a few seconds to warm up to this show, to be honest. Always a pleasure to see such a vivid take on the fantasy genre with the intriguing setting! Interesting little story about the past on humans and other species, on another note. Hence why I was expecting some drama early up but it was nice to see that the Golem was too good for that, pretty cool entrance dat! And I'm so glad that the Golem proposed the idea in the end there, her happiness was simply priceless. Yikes, the Golem hand is like a stab to the heart early up though. Makes sense why he's going out of his way to finding humans, as a result. I didn't expect Somali to be so active and lively after the introduction honestly, I thought it'd be more like UchiMusume but this was a pleasant surprise nonetheless. Props to Inori Minase for nailing it this episode by the way, it's amazing how she can play kid roles like Somali and China Kafuu from "Gochuumon Usagi Desu ka?"! Ono Daisuke's usual badass voice feels like a perfect fit the Golem too! Op; the song will take time to get used to but the visuals were pretty chill and nice. ED meanwhile is a definite hit already and the CG effects there gave it a different feel to it which was very appreciable indeed. Looking forward to more, surely! |

| I can already tell this is going to be one of the top anime of the season; the art is beautiful, the animation quality is high, i already care for the characters and the soundtrack is great too. I can see hints of future emotional trauma... like the fact that all the humans are gone and Somali has to keep her identity hidden and Golem looks like he's started crumbling away... what have i let myself in for?! |

| I really like the colors and atmosphere and I would like to learn more about that interesting world, unfortunately I hate the characters. A kuudere golem (no emotions, purely analytical) and a genki girl child, that has absolutely zero common sense is a combination I can't stomach for more than one episode. |

| Funny that this time, humans were annihilated and even considered as food for non-humans species. A relaxing introduction with an interesting duo, it could be a great show |

| ok so why was there a timeskip in the first 5 minutes ? Like why don't we see, when the golem decided to get out of the forrest, or where they get the clothes from or legit anything. I get this is supposed to be some SoL, but wtf. |

I didn't think it was a timeskip What we saw after that are the antecedents, that how she got there, which would explain why she called that golem "dad". Because she was with someone who looked the same as that golem in the beginning, who she was calling dad. That's what I think at least, correct me if I'm wrong |

| What a surprise, this show went completely under the radars for me and came out of nowhere, and I really loved it. There seems to be a lot of things that I like, iyashikei vibes, adventure / travel, enchanting and whimsical world, beautiful ost and art, father-daughter relationship, I have a lot of hope for the rest of the show. |
| I'm really gonna enjoy this one. Great way to start the year. It's so aesthetic and wholesome. Absolutely beautiful art. I can already tell it's gonna be heartbreaking at the end, however. |

| Came for wholesome cute, stayed for impending doom. The style of animation in the settings paired with the seemingly endless catalog of monsters and fantastical surroundings is enough to keep me interested. I can agree with some that the opening story was a little boring, but what I DO enjoy is the fact in this universe humans came, caused a scene and then were easily eradicated. I like the thrill of living amongst the usual "bad monsters" you'd hear about in a kids book. |

| When I first saw the promo pics for this one, the golem gave me terrifying flashbacks to Bondrewd in Made in Abyss. Thankfully, the golem is quite wholesome. Really nice show with a melancholy feel to it. I love the art direction and music too. |
| Somali is gonna stress the fuck out of me every time she leaves Golem's side. I'm calling it. Interesting first episode. Really like the atmosphere and OST but now, I wonder if the story progression will remain this "Iyashikei-sh" or it will take a more dramatic turn later on based on some scenes I've seen from the PVs... |
| Loved it...9.5 for me... and my 9th sense knows this will be for sure in my Top10Winter2020... I liked the environment... Also liked the atmosphere, i felt those mini sad seconds... This will turn sadder, i know it... The only thing i didnt kinda like, is that the manga is more darker/serious, and this anime is going to be more childish/cheerful... PS: less than 10secs took me, to love Somali... |
