Surprised to see the Final already, I expected to see it next week.

Emotional ending as Seiya sacrifices himself by using not one Gate of Vallhalla, but 2 of them. Rista healing him after the first time came totally undone after he had to use it a second time. In the end, Seiya recognizes who Rista used to be.

Overall a nice Isekai Anime! To be honest, Rista kinda carried the anime for me as I didn't really like Seiya much at all. I do have to say that in the last 3 episodes I was able to accept his overly cautious personality. After all it was with a very good reason!

Ending however was a bit of a anti-climax.. Atleast Rista can summon Seiya again!

Dissapointed by those last episodes. The episode 11 shoved us all the Rista's past + character development in a hurry and now the Demon King was defeated so quickly.

Really, the first heavenly king's battle was more excting and entertaining (in fact it was the main reason to watch this anime) than all the Demon King's one (hell, even the B-ranked demon king of the episode 11 was more interesting to watch). I know that the valkyrie's gate was the obvious way to win but that doesn't mean that it should be easy peasy or boring to watch. Like for example One Punch Man's 1st season, the MC going to win but was a spectacle. Not feeling for the "drama" about Seiya "dying" when you already have a good guess of summoning a second valkyrie's gate.

Still the rest of the episodes were very funny and had a good time so can be forgiven a little bit.

Free VPNs suck, not really worth the effort.

And paying for a good one? Useless unless you explicitly use it to stream from region locked countries, lol.
(All the other benefits advertised by VPN companies are fake news)

Torrents come after ofc.

At that time the ep wasn't out yet. Except for that asia channel that gets spammed everywhere and no one really, besides very few, can access. Lol.

Assuming all SE Asia can access it.
Assuming SE Asia people have the same internet coverage of the rest of the world.

Bold statements I'd say.

So, allegedly only 91.42% of the world cannot access it.
This changes everything! Sorry for saying it's 99%

Great show, loved it. Anime of the season for me. So funny and such great acting from Rista's seiyu. The ending came out of nowhere but was done perfectly and made the show that much better. Don't really need a season 2, I imagine it would just feel repetitive. Probably the best isekai since Konosuba, it was nice have one that didn't completely suck for a change.

If I did have one complaint it would be the awful CG dance ED.

The story itself was pretty meh and progression was kind of all over the place but overall, it was still a fun watch. Probably wouldn't have enjoyed it as much without Rista's hilarious faces and voice actor.

Seeing as how the novel is still going, does anyone know if it continues onto the next world?

Best non-sequel anime this season 7/10

It's funny, it has good characters, the last two episodes were different but in a good way.

Excluding sequels, Ristarte is my favourite female character this season.

My heart skipped a beat or two when Eruru asked why the Gate of Valhalla had not disappeared... The second gate was even creepier than the first one, not to mention its ultimate remuneration. At least there was light at the end of the tunnel.

It was an enjoyable roller coaster of emotions.

Also, Adenela for the win!

Wow I had no idea this actually followed the LN, and had material for a season 2. With the pace everything was moving at I assumed they were condensing it for TV and were going to have an anime only ending, but seeing the ending I can understand how this would be only a small part of the overall story. Episode 11 just did such a good job setting up this epic finale that I really thought the story would be cut after this lol.

Glad to see the story can still move on from where the show ended. I really hope this gets a season 2.

A great past-time indeed. The ending was kinda lacking though,
I wanted to see them reuniting and if Seiya's overly cautiousness has finally disappeared since he saved Rista this time.

Great finale!

Intense and awesome fight, so Seya managed to sacrifice himself in first gate of valhala, Ristarte released her goddes power to save him, honestly that second gate of valhalla was really epic and badass, Ristarte healing had no effect, her farewel was touching, and i am really happy that Seya realized that Ristate was Tiane, and he really cared foir her, loved that!

Was funny to see the gods that helped Seya cumplimenting Ristarte, Mitis is so creepy XD

So the punishment from Ishtar to Ristarte is to save SS-Rank world Expholion, the world from Seya, Ristarte as Tiane and Aria, and seems Seya will be able to be ressurected!

Overall, this anime was a surprise for me, that comedy parody was so epic, Seaya was so damn cautious that it was so spudid and turned it into a masterpiece, and i was awesome how it changed from a comedy to a drama in the last two episode, episode 11 just shocked me with that backstory plotwist! Dont forgeting about how funny was Ristarte with her expression towards everything!

Honestly, i am really hoping for a second season!

Ah that ending was perfect!! I love anime that do this. Having her say "and at the bottom" "Impossiblely cautious" was perfect.

I absolutely loved this series from start to finish. Seiya is definitely best male character of the season and I'd absolutely love to see another season of this. Well even if it doesnt Im going to check out the source material. (Hopefully its been translated)

Awesome finale, Loved the shift in tone since episode 11. But I don't think there'll be season 2. The ending is satisfying and even so, in season 2 the jokes about "being overly cautious" won't be appealing to audiences unlike in this season. It'd be somehow repetitive or something. Overall, it's a great anime.

The directing and story telling of this episode sure was great, they managed to tell every important things so we could understand it very well

And also, seem like the story still didn't end yet so the probabilty get another season is high too (since nowdays so many shit anime can get sequel and shit LN or manga can get adaptation too)

Definitely AOTY, why so many media didn't include this awsome show into their top 10 anime of the year??

I can't believe how easily this shifted from a spiritual successor of Konosuba to a Re:Zero one. I'm sad that Seiya died but at least his Valkyrja Gate Another got rid of the Chain Destruction too so his soul was safe. Amazingly fitting that he and Rista will get a 2nd chance to save the SS-difficulty world that they failed before. I really hope we get another season

Meh, it was hard to get invested in this finale for two reasons: first, all the emotional material needed to make it compelling was shoved onto us in episode 11 in a huge exposition dump, so it didn't feel authentic or earned; second, it was clear as day that the show was going to find a way to keep Seiya alive, so trying to wring emotion out of his "death" was an utter waste of time.

This show was a weird one overall, mixing irreverent comedy with standard seriousness, but it wasn't too bad overall despite my qualms with the writing of these final two episodes.

IF THE SECOND TO LAST EPISODE WAS NOT SO RUSHED, I WOULD HAVE ENJOYED THIS ENDING A LOT MORE!!
Since all in all, it was a pretty good episode. Tho I'm disappointed they didn't stick with how they started. I loved the show as a comedy with epic fighting, but this abrupt turn into an emotional story was just bad. Especially how they handled the 11th episode, with it being such a turn from the previous episodes. If they made an episode before it to better transition into the emotional ending, I might have cared about the death of Seiya and Ristarte's grief. Plus him just being reborn, it lessens the impact of his death even more.

went from a 8/10 to a 7/10 because of the last two episodes.

If they make a second season, I'll watch it just to see if it's good.

Has anyone here read the LN or manga? I wonder if the final episodes were rushed or this was the intended pacing. Kinda weird that the final episodes had so little comedy in it and went so hard for drama, cramming in the backstory and the fight against the demon lord in so little time.

Overall I liked the show more than I initially thought. At the beginning it seemed like a very cliche show with obvious jokes (and the first episode kinda was). But as the show went on the comedy got more creative, Rista was more fun and I had a good time. Didn't care one bit for the children, though. Also the OP is a banger.

So it only covered the first 2 volumes? was not expecting that.

This series feels it both concluded and ended in a cliffhanger at the same time go figure.

The Last 3 episodes really up the bar for this series and i actually liked it overall better than i initial expected. A s2 would be very welcomed but at least this season can stand on its own just it case it does not happen. Still i hope we get more.

Also those gods really have to put some real exceptions into there rules i mean if an S-class had caused this much trouble than what about a SS? They have got to show a little more leeway.

Good show and i recommend anyone to try it.. 8/10

The tone of the two last episodes were more drama than comedy, what it's not bad. Even my eyes got wet in some moments, and not from laughs.

I was hoping an epic final fight, but it felt somehow rushed. The scene Seiya was dying and Rita trying unsuccessfully to heal him was quite sad and moving. I truly thought Seiya had died.

What an episode!!!! Damn!
I doubt there will be a 2S but i wish there was one. It would be interesting to see them take the 1st world that they failed and defeat the demon lord!

And who knows maybe a certain couple would appear ;)

What a way to end the anime...Seiya remembers who Ristarte is and then he dies...damn

There are many mixed reviews/feelings about this anime, but for me, it was absolutely amazing, loved all of the episodes and would be happy for a 2s ;)

And the last 2 episode took me completely unexpected...

Won't say much because it was way too sad but it was one of the best isekais i've seen!

Shinchou, WOW, just wow!
