| Off to a great start! Seems like great and enjoyably funny isekai parody, I like it. And having Kayanon as the mother is just priceless, she has perfectly right share of innocence and sadism in her acting. And you don't want to make your mom cry. If only the english title of the show wasn't mistranslated, there should have been dual-wield instead of two-hit word there. But I don't really mind something that minor. Can't wait for girls introduction and for his mom to play the role of marriage agent. |

| Well, that was a first episode. It's so obvious that this anime is lacking in every aspect. I'm already seeing why it's rated so poorly. As much as I wanna nitpick at all the dumb shit this series has to offer, a lot already evident in this first episode, it would end up being a complete waste of time cause there's just so much lol Okaa-san is cute. This is the only redeeming quality. Nobody can change my mind. |

| Funny first episode, though the mom/son interactions were quite uncomfortable. I immediately noticed Shirase's seiyuu though, it's the news reporter from Seitokai Yakuindomo, great casting choice haha That ending though... I'll definitely skip it every time lol |

| Came across this while scrolling through Crunchyroll. I remember hearing about this series a few years ago, but proceeded to ignore it since it seemed god awful. However, curiosity has finally gotten ahold of me, so now I'm watching this to see if the series is as bad as the title makes it sound. This...wow. It's playing up the clueless parent who's technologically illiterate with the gimmick of a doting mother. I don't really mind that part, but did it really have to be an isekai? I figured it'd be funnier if it's just the mother on a computer playing with her son. It didn't really have to be an SAO-esque virtual MMORPG. The series definitely seems like it knows it's full of itself, so it's constantly taking the piss out of cliches associated with overpowered protagonists in an isekai video game setting, except with a clueless mother character who just waltzes in and wins by virtue of existing. That being said, what normal person decides to nuke a building, even if it was through misunderstanding a game guidebook, and proceed to walk it off like a natural action? Rather, even if the guidebook did say to blow up the adventurer's guild, what normal person would actually follow through without hesitation? I'm not sure how Mamako not freaked out by everything she's seeing, ranging from the monsters to the prospect of inflicting unrelenting violence? Is she possibly a sociopath? |
