| As expected, the issue regarding animation in the previous episode was just due to a directing decision. Oh boy, I felt so stressed during this episode regarding Dororo's situation, especially when Itachi and co. found out about her genre. Having her secret being revealed in such dishonorable way sure was awful but at least, I'm a bit relieved nothing too fucked up happened after that. I still hope Itachi to die for having stripped her tho. On the other hand, that shark guy sure looked disturbed as hell. I guess we will be able to see his past at some point but so far, I'm not really interested in his character. P.S. 1: Eh... why do I have the feeling Jiromarou will go full "Gyo" mode in the next episode?... P.S. 2: Seeing people actually feeling bad for the shark boy is beyond me... I mean, the bastard fed his sharks with women and kids for God's sake! |
| Poor Dororo was stripped naked and tied to a tree. I'm guessing Jiroumaru is going to either become Sharknado or magically fly and gobble up Itachi's gang. There wasn't enough of Hyakki in this episode so I was kind of disappointed but I loved it nonetheless, the animation isn't the best but I'm sticking for the story. The story is still one of the best although last episode left little to be desired. I'm excited for next week's episode! |

| 100% improvement on the animation this week! I would worry about my hostage falling off the horse being tied up like that. I really liked the episode and was very pleased that the animation was back to normal. Hyakkimaru not being in the episode very much surprisingly worked, I was still really interested in what was happening. Dororo taking charge and luring the shark so they could escape shows Hyakkimaru's influence. |

| I felt like this episode had good character development for Dororo. It showed that she's brave and smart and can find ways to get by without Hyakkimaru. I enjoyed this episode despite Hyakkimaru not really being in it. The animation was also a lot better. Itachi is a real piece of shit, even though he's just trying to get by. But that shark guy was even worse. Sharks freak me out so I was feeling pretty tense for most of the episode. I loved Dororo's pep talk and plan to kill the shark, it made me like her even more. She really should've let those guys kill the shark guy, but hopefully now Itachi and his men will get eaten and Dororo will escape. I was hoping the map wouldn't show up on Dororo's back, but I feel like it won't be as simple as they think to find this treasure. |

| This show is going down hill. It's not just the animation, but last three episodes have sucked. Episode 15 was outright bad and rest were okay-meh episodes. First half had very few weaker episodes and this has just had three back to back... I understand an episodic show will have some weaker, but now this is just out of hand. First half was probably a strong 8/10 and this second half is looking to bring series down quite a bit. Probably 6/10 max and even if it improves you can't ignore the inconsistency. |

| That one-armed psycho looks like a mix between Hyakkimaru and Dororo, going as to fed his arms to the sharks, that is just so wild and dark, and then he followed by admitting his crime in killing off all of the villagers. However, even he still has more dignity on him than Itachi, man, that dude never lets me put some faith on him, one instance he's all an edge load jerk, the other he's very chill and friendly. Dororo must have been humiliated to the bits when they stripped her from her clothes, damn. We're about to see that old man who took care of Hyakkimaru again. |
| I had initially thought that Shark Boy was some sort of grown-up version of Dororo after a timeskip in the opening since they look alike so I was pretty surprised that he's an entirely different character and a complete nutjob at that! Jiromaru and Saburomaru devouring half of Itachi's men was so brutal and I haven't seen a shark attack like that in ages. Even though he killed so much of his men, Itachi let him off the hook so he can get even with Dororo after she helped them kill Saburomaru and I'm pretty glad that he did because that means that Shark Boy has an opportunity to let Jiromaru go straight-up Gyo in this episode and have him devour those bastards up that cape for making Dororo and her family's lives a living hell. I definitely recognized the two sharks' names from Okami that has a lot of influence from Japanese mythology so I found that really cool! In the game, Jiro and Saburo were two star-crossed lovers that committed double suicide by jumping down the crashing waves of the ocean but they turned into hermit crabs that can form a giant shark when they come together by fusing. |

| Im so glad the animation is somewhat back to normal after last week. I was worried Kobayashi might have his hands on more than one episode.. Also, was looking forward to seeing shark boy since the new opening animation, he looked rather interesting. I still don't know how to feel about him though, want to see what happens next. |

| Not all of them but a vast majority of shows will have a budget saving episode or a couple that are notably lesser in quality. This episode looked fine save a couple distance shots though so not sure why your hung up on this one when last episode was the real wtf episode. |

| Itachi is disgusting. Also the transitions in this show have gotten very amateur-ish. The storytelling isn't tight either anymore. I have been noticing that since last two episodes, they have been showing Dororo in a lowkey fetishized way which is gross too. |

| Who gives a dam if they beat the crap out of the Shark guy ffs Dororo. He murdered kids and his entire village to feed to his sharks and himself, also tried to do the same to you as well. The freaking Spider monster waifu from the earlier episodes was more human than this guy. | I remember fighting these sharks in Okami. Definitely an improvement on last week, this episode. Itachi reminds me quite a bit of the monk in Princess Mononoke. I can't hate him too much. |

| Dororo had quite the balls to go into the water as bait. At this point she really should have her own revenge story against Itachi for betraying her dad, desecrating her mom's grave and now exposing her body. Still bit confused how the heck Shiranui killed the whole village considering he's weak but I guess from the last scene that his sharks can walk upon land or something. |
