I laughed so much this episode... But I also had tears coming to my eyes whenever Tomoya remembered Nagisa.
Kyou hasn't changed at all (her personality, that is) but she seems like a good teacher^^ I loved when she was teasing Tomoya and Ushio replied "Daddy's cool!". That was the highlight of the episode imo.
I hope everything will be ok with Ushio. I won't be able to stand it if she dies like Nagisa...
Really nice to see Kyou again. And I hope Ushio doesn't have the same health as her mother.

I love Kyou..... Man...I can't help wonder as she's talking to tomoya if she hasn't thought about hitting it off with him. That always feels like my realistic hope every time I watch this episode. Well almost done, not a lot of time eh?

Seize the day, some exclaim, but that which is past, no more shall have its day.
This episode was mostly something of a breather. There was that absurd comedy brought by Fuko and silliness like the duel at the sports day and that damn pig appearing again, but I don't mind. I enjoy them and those are also part of Clannad's charm.
The what-if scenarios and reminiscence were something I felt should have been handled a bit more subtly, it was just somehow clumsy as it was.
And then the end. Fuck, I should have seen it coming that Ushio probably isn't very healthy considering how weak Nagisa was, but I completely forgot and now it was a shock after all that carefreeness.
But maybe it's not inherited in a conventional way, but instead is tied to the fact Nagisa would not have survived long enough to give birth to Ushio if it weren't for the place. So Ushio's life might kind of depends on how that place is preserved.
Insert songs are getting pretty abundant, is this going for the secret musical route? But I gotta say the Dango Daikazoku one was pretty nice. 5/5

Yeah...It seemed like things were finally going well, I had a feeling it was too good to be true. I knew the very moment Ushio walked out she had to have inherited her Nagisa's illness...Poor Ushio T_T
Manifest said: Ushio just had to inherit the health defect.. Oh well, this story can't be happy all the time. Loved the massive botan, but what caused him to go dark wasn't botan brown before?
It's probably three years too late for me to respond to this now, but...
Animals often get a different shade of fur whenever they mature. My dog had a yellowish orange shade of fur when he was a pup, but now that he is fully grown, he has a whiteish yellow shade of fur.
Good to see Fuko as a comic relief character and a funny ep as a breather from the sadness. I LOLd when Fuko tried to take Ushio from Okazaki. It's wierd how Ushio's a lot stronger than both Okazaki and Nagisa, and a good reference to the place where the hospital was built which saved Nagisa's life. Guts she has Nagisa's illness. 8.5/10.

I keep tearing up for Tomoya, though, especially whenever Nagisa is mentioned. T_T
So this was another amazing episode,it was very sad and happy.
I feel very sad when Tomoya remembers about Nagisa,i barely can hold my tears :/
The awesome part was Fuko, she rules ahaha
As always very funny and cute ^^
Loved watching Kyou, she is very adult now,and don't take it bad but i think that "something" might happen between them :D
Kyou is very pretty and kawaii ^^
Very strange that Ushio likes that new hospital,i'm very curious about that. And i hope she don't have the same health problem as Nagisa... :/
10/10
"There is no such thing as an Anime elitist. You watch Anime, therefore, you are trash by society's standards."
Ushio ;___; I really hope she doesn't get as sick as Nagisa. Tomoya singing the Dango song made me cry. Nice to see Kyou again though! Hoping the show ends happily.
Fuko's said that Ushio's "cuteness just leveled up".Hehehe, IT'S OVER NINE THOUSAAAND! Fuko's the same as when we left her. I do hope that Tomoya can get his memory of Fuko back, that would be nice. Kyou's back and we've got a full-grown Boton. The flashback of Nagisa that Tomoya had was great. And Tomoya singing Dango Daikazoku to Ushio was awesome, I just had to join in. Tomoya is like Akio, and unfortunately, Ushio's health seems like it's going to worsen. I hope she doesn't end up like Nagisa and dying at the end, that would be dreadful. Great episode, by the way.
I was sure that Ushio teacher would be Kyou, it was pretty evidant. Between the scene with in the OP and the fact that she stated that she wanted to teach to little kids. Still, I was looking forward for this encounter, she's still like before (well except for Bouta xD) and their relationship haven't changed even with all that happenned.
I'm glad we had to see Fuko again, even weirder than before! It's really cute to see that her relationship with Tomoya hasn't changed ^^
The way Ushio described Nagisa with Tomoya crying and remembering Nagisa made me cry. It was really beautiful...
I wonder if the fact that she's always wandering in the city and getting to the hospital have a deeper meaning. If I remember, it's where Akio brought Nagisa when she almost died. Maybe it's like a ''portal'' to the other world? I don't know, I'm really looking toward it.
And for the ending... God, I hate these cliffhanger, always make me anxious. I'm preparing for the worst, since the preview and the next episode title. Please, make this serie end with an happy ending, please, please, please...
«Time is passing so quickly. Right now, I feel like complaining to Einstein. Whether time is slow or fast depends on perception. Relativity theory is so romantic. And so sad.» - Kurisu Makise a.k.a. The Zombie
Interesting that Ushio is drawn to her momma's special spot (where they built the hospital)... I wonder what's going to happen... but I'm not as invested as I was before Nagisa died.
Your mean should be an even bell curve only if you watch every show that comes out. Having a high-slung mean doesn't mean you're rating improperly. It can also mean you're selecting shows well to watch mostly things you enjoy.
Kyou is finally a kindergarden teacher!
And I almost cried when Tomoya started sing the big dango family song! So many memories from the first season! :((
And will Ushio have the same illness as Nagisa?? EPISODE 21 HERE I COME!
omg if this is a flag for fuko's death i will liteally cry myslef to death
"Urushibara Ruka. The mannerisms and voice of a woman... No... More feminine than any woman. But he's a guy. Taller than Mayuri, but so very thin... But he's a guy. Looks great in a miko outfit... But he's a guy. It's already twilight And yet, it's so hot. The cicadas are crying. But... He's a guy."
what is the cause of usio's Sickness really? When she walked into the room with the fever se said "I couldnt do it by myself" What did she do I think it has to do something with the other world part tying it to gether. That area she was at with fuko the new hospital had a lot of meaning to akio and why nagisa lived longer. Something spiritually is happening its cant just be a sickness. Doctors dont know what to do for them.
I loved how Kyou is Ushio-chan's teacher, also everytime Tomoya thinks back of Nagisa it tears me up a little :'(
And now poor Ushio I hope she gets well soon!
