Well, that was an ending. In the end, this manga ended up being a 5/10 for me. I really enjoyed the beginning, but it just went on too long. There were multiple arcs where I felt heavily invested at the start, and then the ball was dropped by the end. Not even really a happy ending, but it's one that's respectable for this particular series. |
I reject your reality, and substitute my own. |

So this is the salty IchiRuki and NaruSaku shippers fault, the ones in Japan at least. Not at all. It would have made total sense for Natsu and Lucy since it was hinting at it from the very beginning. People were mad about those in Naruto and Bleach because those were built up and then the author's showed off how terrible writers they are by ending with the wrong couples. IDK about nardo but IchiHIme was literally THE ONLY Pairing thoroughly built up through bleach. As early as Arrancar Arc was a dead giveaway Kubo is setting those two up. |

I'm surprised he didn't go with a timeskip actually and babies for everyone, well except Gajeel and Levy. Gray's confession to Juvia was kinda awkward but is finei I guess, she's been wanting to get some since forever xD Trolling right to the very end, way to go Mashima hahah. 100 year quest?!?! You just defeated Acnologia, what more do you want lmao, I feel bad for Lucy. Final arcs became way too predictable and kinda lost its excitement but at least the fanservice was there, I swear if you don't start making hentai Hiro Guess that's one more manga down, looking forward to the 2018 anime. |

Care to explain that Mavis/Zeref with different names part? Was that even needed?... Besides that, it was actually a nice final chapter, but I don't think I'm gonna miss this series at all. I'll look forward to Mashima next work cause I know that, if he wants, he can write amazing stories and Rave Master is the proof of that. C'mon Mashima, give us something serious next time |

This shit finally ends. Of course everything went back like nothing ever happened.. even Mavis and Zeref are reincarnated (bullshit I tell you) 2/10 The only reason I don't give it 1 is because pre Tenrou this manga was actually good. Such a shame the later parts turned to be one of the worse manga I've ever read (calling it a literature abomination won't be far from the truth). Hopefully Mashima takes a good long break and come back with something like Rave or Fairy Tail Zero again. |

Well all I read FT mostly for at a certain point was just for the art and the fanservice... so the ending was as shit as expected giving how bad the writing in it was. Somehow got worse after the 7 year timeskip cuz after that the arcs just went more and more downhill when atleast previous to that it had a few tolerable/decent ones. Still curious though what his next project is gonna be about ngl, with how rushed the final arc felt like it seems like he was in a hurry just to end FT and start whatever he got cooked up and given how hard he works it's probably not even a too long wait too. |

Hmm. I just figured out what would have made this chapter a lot better.. Letting Lucy confess. I honestly didn't expect Natsu to say something - because he hasn't matured since chapter one, he only got stronger. But them not getting together is pretty disappointing. Lucy keeps getting put into the friendzone by Natsu's stupidity. If she had just straight up said "I love you, please go out with me!" and then while Natsu was standing there dumbstruck, taken his arm and said "Let's go on this mission!" that would have been great. It would have shown us that at least she has grown as a person. The ship would have sailed, too. For the final time we would have been reminded that she was at one point the protagonist. An unexpected twist of the "damsel in distress getting dragged along by her knight in shining armor"-formula - making her take the initiative to evoke the illusion that she might have been a strong female lead, somewhere deep within. I would have loved that. |

So it's finally over... I've been a bit bored with Fairy Tail for quite some time now but I really enjoyed it at one point. So I suppose nostalgia is the reason why it still hurts me a bit to see FT go. But it’s a good thing it’s over; reading the manga was becoming rather tedious. As far as this chapter is concerned, so much shipping... kind of. I enjoy the ships so I read most of the chapter with a grin on my face. Some things do bother me though. Only one year has past so how on earth did Mavis and Zeref get reincarnated? That’s just stupid. Also, I really enjoyed how Mavis and Zeref died; they ended up together in death and I thought that part was done nicely. So putting something like this in the last chapter kind of ruins that part. Also, why a 100 year quest? That is so unnecessary. The entire team can’t possibly stay away for years like Gildarts, right? I guess it doesn’t really matter anymore though. And as far as Aquarius key is concerned... Wait, there wasn’t any mention of that, was there? That’s a bit of a bummer. All the other guilds are doing well. Especially... Mermaid Heel. When I saw Kagura like that saying, “What am I doing?”, I thought, yeah, what ARE you doing? Kagura was such a cool character so why? Aren’t there enough characters for fanservice? Speaking of fanservice, Gray and Juvia are like a stripping couple now. And they actually are a couple. So are Levy and Gajeel. Elfman and Evergreen are kind of together. And Erik and Kinana. Lucy kind of got friendzoned. And last but most certainly not least... Jellal is free! I am so happy. I knew it was going to happen but I still did a few fist-pumps when I read that he had been pardoned. But the thing that annoyed me is that that’s all we get. Ok, fine, Erza does her hair everyday but I was sincerely hoping for something more. The relationship between Jellal and Erza was one of my favorite parts of FT and I felt that their relationship had been developed really nicely. I can’t believe this is the sort of ending we end up with. I guess that Mashima is good at building things up but he doesn’t execute things too nicely in the end. It’s upsetting but then again, very few manga seem to end on a satisfactory note. My favourite manga of all time is Ranma ½ and even that manga’s ending is unsatisfactory. Enough of my ranting... I had a lot of fun times reading FT so I suppose I will miss it a bit. But in the end all I have to say is, goodbye Fairy Tail! |

And so 545 chapters and 11 years later, Fairy Tail has come to an end. I'll be honest, I've been mostly neutral towards this series since the GMG arc. I honestly can't recall any other series that made me go from liking it a lot to basically having a hard time caring about anything outside of a few characters so quickly like Fairy Tail did. All of the stuff post GMG that people got pissed off about? Yeah, it didn't affect me in the least. I pretty much just shrugged it off as I knew Hiro wasn't going to change anything about the way he was writing things. I thought Tartaros had its moments, but even then I wouldn't put it with the best of the best from earlier arcs of the series. Apart from some of the BS in the Tenrou Island arc, I will still always have fond memories of just about everything pre time skip. A lot of the stuff there was Hiro at his best, and I'm at least glad we'll always have that part of the story to go back and watch/read. I initially started with the anime, so if I ever revisit that material I'll probably watch it again over reading it. Whatever Hiro's next work is, I hope it's as good as early FT or Rave. I've never personally read Rave but I've heard enough about it from plenty of people to know that it's a good series. I'll definitely give it a read eventually. This last chapter did bring back some memories for me, and for that reason alone I pretty much enjoyed it more than most of anything else I've experienced from this series in a good while. Plus seeing that Gajeel and Levy are seemingly going to have a kid made me happy. They were the only couple I actually cared about in this series. I used to care about Natsu and Lissana, but we all know how that ended up. Last thing I'll say is that I think Fairy Tail Zero is probably the best thing Hiro has written since the time skip. I actually enjoyed watching that a good bit when I saw it in the anime. Thanks for the memories Fairy Tail. Despite how I may feel now, I'll never forget a lot of the earlier parts of the story. |

this chapter was all that i wanted, it was the perfect ending for the fairy tail we all love and cherish and i'm so happy with it. this has been and will forever be beautiful, amazing, magical, and legendary!! fairy tail taught me a lot of things about life and friendships, fairy tail changed my life and has become a big part of it, i'm very very sad and depressed seeing it come to an end but i know this adventure will go on forever! i loved every single part of it, i love all of the characters so much and i'm so thankful to hiro mashima for creating such a beautiful story and world. i don't even know what to say i just love it so much and i really don't want it to end, but i know that one day fairy tail will come back!! i don't know how i'm going to be living my life without new chapters of fairy tail, i don't know how i will go on without seeing my beautiful precious family every week. yes! fairy tail is my family and will forever be!! i'm so happy we're getting a new season next year and i'm so looking forward to see the rest of the story adapted. this doesn't mean it is the end, fairy tail will live on in our hearts forever!! do fairies have tails? do they not? do fairies even exist? do they not? this eternal mystery will continue as an eternal adventure. thank you hiro mashima for everything❤️ thank you fairy tail❤️ |

i found FT in 2012 and it stayed as my favourite anime for almost 2 years, but you know... if a history starts to get repetitive i no longer will be able to like it. (one piece, naruto and bleach are some of these cases, for exemple) And FT is one of these too. I did read somewhere that hiro wanted to end it some time ago but couldn't because the magazine wanted to publish more chapters because of its popularity, but i felt like the 'repetitive' it had turned on, turned into a even more repetitive story that couldn't even make me exited to read/watch anymore. Until the grand magic games arc i loved it, but then it just went from a 8 to a 6(or even 5) for me. I only continued to read it because of my favourite character, mavis. (also because her backstory with zeref was great and i wanted to know what would happen to those two). Well.. yep 6/10 for me. |

Still a lot better than whole Niseshit. But was that relly necessary Hiro sensei? to show someone else who look like Mavis and Zeref just because everyone must have happy end? You can have Mavis and Zeref watch over Fairy Tail as a ghost now. or Have a really young someone else who you think was Mavis and Zeref's reincarnation meet each other not someone else who look alike with them before they become immortal and just change their name 0 This time skip its not even take few year (just look at Wendy) |

I really liked this final chapter, seeing that party, Lucy's dream come true, some couples confirmed and some not so much, an end where the essence of the fairy tail remains intact, that joy that characterizes the guild, all cheerful, noisy . Seeing Mavis along with Zeref, like two innocent souls, filled me with joy. I'm glad that everything ends this way |

Finally over, huh. Honestly, I find it a little sad to see it endings, what with how long I've been following the series, but that's usually the case for all these long-running series. We know that Levi and Gajeel is set in stone, which is great in book since I've always liked them and the chemistry between them. Poor Wendy, hearing all these spicy details of all the couples ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Also, spin-off harem manga of Laxus when? Lmao Looks like there's quite a few possible ships for him, but I've never thought that his relationship with any other female character was explored all that much or went into depth all that much. It was also nice to see that Gray and Juvia were finally a thing, which is about god damn time. Took you long enough to accept her, Gray. Guess her persistence paid off in the end. Was also nice to see Lucy's dream was finally fulfilled. Plus, their conversation, with her and Natsu, felt like it alluded to there being a chance for romance in the future. Anyway, all in all, I'll miss FT a little... OR THAT'S WHAT I WOULD SAY, but we'll probably get some continuation of sorts in the near future. 6/10. Let's see how Mashima-sensei decides to continue the series. |

Fairy Tail i can say was my second most beloved anime next to Inuyasha and God knowd how i loved Inuyasha. So imagined just how dissapointed i am that i didint even get a NaLu ending just a hint that Natsu was goind to say something lifexhanging but then wussed out just like the manga's author And i think i wouldnt feel so bad about it if Mashima trolled the other ships too but NO! Shippers of Gruvia and Gajevy (is that what you call it? Sory) go at least something but as to NaLu we only got Lucy crying her eyes out and Natsu.... well being natsu. Meaning he just opt to saying they will be friends forever and some crap like that. So yeah im just going to get my own interpretation from what Natsu said that it doesnt matter cause tgeyre always going to be together.. Ill just think that what Natsu meant was it doesnt matter if he confess his love or not because no matter what Lucy and him wont be apart anyways. And yes i will let thought comfort me! I hate you Mashima for letting me dig out my own interpretation instead of just givibg a straight answer!! And anyways what ever happend to my fave Aquarius??? She wasnt even mentioned i rememver she was about to say something to Lucy about her key bit she was cut off right? And Brandish. Did she die? I kind of liked her. Anyway i still thabk FT for the great memories and cryfest you gave me heres to hoping the anime wont wussed out in giving us a NaLu ending |
