Well you have to keep in mind too that this club had been around for quite awhile before ATotD happened on AD and got shut down. Back then all of the regulars hung out and talked in the O/U thread. It was a lot slower-- even slower than our current ATotD threads are now-- but it seemed like we discussed anime a lot more back then. Of the current regulars I know Ckan, Botato, fst, Jizzy, Kokko, Pullman, Reaper, and Zerg were around back then. #oldguard Tfw it's been over two and a half years since then. |

| I mean the club was originally created because the Overrated/Underrated v4 got locked for being 'unmoderatable', and I think probably due to a certain someone complaining about it to the mods. Then a bunch of people migrated to the ATotD thread in AD until that got locked for being a chat thread and it got brought here as well. |

| Welp, Fresh Precure! was definitely the most character-driven Precure I've watched thus far, as well as the most uplifting. Despite their superficial similarities, it's nice to see how each Precure goes for a different thematic emphasis and a different approach to tackling their themes. It gives each iteration its own unique tone, which shows the most obviously in their endings even though it tends to be pretty clear early on. Given that it's really no wonder why Precure fans all seem to have very different ideas as to which version they prefer the most. Fresh and its characters will all be fondly remembered. Coming off of Fresh I could completely understand someone who loved it thinking that Heartcatch is incredibly underwhelming, because they're each trying to do completely different things. It's like they're in different genres despite all being mahou shoujo and all sharing certain formulaic similarities. So when I say Heartcatch >> Fresh > Go! Princess It's almost completely nonindicative from a recommendation standpoint because what each series does great is apples and oranges, and if you prefer oranges then my apple preference isn't going to help you much. I mean I may as well say Action >> SOL > Fantasy If that gets the point across, although the analogy is loose. It wouldn't surprise me if it changes as I watch more, that I could fairly make more direct comparions, but it's kinda hard with these three. Explaining their score differences on my list would take a wall of text that you may not be asking for. |

Which series has the most fabulous ones? I tried my best not to watch all of them on youtube (even though the temptation was strong) but from what I've seen I'd say Go! Princess is definitely up there. |

| @Sapewloth Something I've noticed with the transformations is that it really catches my attention when the fingers are well animated: The way fingers moving can be simultaneously subtle and dramatic is just something I love, so my favorites thus far would probably be Blossom's and Marine's from Heartcatch and Passion's from Fresh. [edit]Then again Scarlet's is so cool and dramatic that it doesn't need the animated fingers tbh. That's actually my favorite I guess.[/edit] In general terms though, I definitely think the most went into making Go! | I didn't even consciously do it. The editing feature on MAL just took you to a different screen, like how forums usually do it, but I was too lazy to do it so I just made new posts. Now the quick edit makes it easier to just edit your post and occasionally motivates to not double/triple/quad post at times. |
