I plan on watching John Wick 2 on probably Tuesday, I was supposed to do it last week but my friend got sick real bad and fuck going alone.. but other than that not sure what I plan on watching in theaters for this year but I see lots of interesting stuff and I would probably see Ghost in the Shell if I got free tickets or something because otherwise wouldn't bother with it even though liking the source material. And Logan, Beauty and the Beast & Kong: Skull Island all this month too. |

| Even if they are positive Its a bit infuriating that there are quite a few nier reviews where they are stopping at ending A then reviewing it like its a complete experience, like yeah its weird that taro's "endings" are actually just multiple timelines/perspectives with new content in them but its kind of their fucking jobs to review a product andl to actually do 5 seconds of research to find out the endings are actually large chunks of the games and you havent actually beaten it until ending D, you know its not like this is a decade long franchise with 4 games before this or anything to look up for reference. I mean yeah cool that a taro game has gotten universal acclaim, but like the post ending A stuff is usually some of the most important parts of the games. Drakengard 3's best moments only came after ending A, the entire theme behind nier (you dont need to be crazy to do something evil) doesnt take form until you play branch B with the extra scenes, and drakengard 1 is rather (in)famous for its progressively more fucked up endings that broke conventions of working harder in games for a happier ending only for the player to get a more and more demented end. That said part of the blame goes on how taro doesnt exactly follow conventions. |

I just hope automata is the turning point in his career where he starts to get legit budgets. its the benefit and downfall of a crazy person making video games. |
