| At first I feel that Aoyama was in the way, and just sucked over all and I was all for Mashiro. But I'd say after the Christmas episode (or what ever you want to call it I forget the ep #) then Shiina and Aoyama switched places... for me at least. I feel that Aoyama just cares so much more for him, and has for a long time while Shiina doesn't even know what is going on when her heart is beating. Don't get me wrong I really love shiinas charter... but still... IDK Aoyama really grew on me |

Shiina is just way too annoying, I can't imagine what it would be like babysitting a 16 year old chick where you literally have to do everything that someone with common sense would know how to for her. Since this is your generic rom com you can expect all virgin main cast so you will have them taking indecent stuff a little too seriously. So Aoyama overreacting don't really bother me as I've seen it way too many times. Shiina, like you said is an interesting character, but I still don't like her. It's just me but I generally don't like people without common sense. One of the main reason I prefer Aoyama. |

| I'm hoping the most for Aoyama to have her way with him, but of course, everything's hinting at Shiina in the end, so I'm kind of settled for that. Might partly be the reason why I don't seem to enjoy it as much as Toradora, even though I don't think we should compare the two.. Still, it's a sweet show, but that's about it. |

They're both hardworking individuals, they've been with each other through their ups and downs, and they are familiar with each others personalities. Although she can't step up and directly tell Sorata how she feels, it's normal for some girls to be shy, embarrass or have this lack of courage to confess. Sorata is just numb or ignorant to neglect/miss the hints being left by Aoyama. Shiina would just pile up Sorata's stress and workload. He wont be able to prioritize his game projects and competitions because he would have to take care of Shiina's chores and lifestyle. Sure, Shiina has a "unique" personality... unique meaning, overly naive, ignorant, lacks common sense and monotonous. Additionally, Sorata would just end up getting jealous constantly over her achievements, making history repeat itself. Dont get me wrong, I don't hate Shiina, I just don't like her as a romantic partner for Sorata, but just a friend. It doesn't matter, Shiina is still going to win over the poll and the guy. lol |

| I feel that Nanami is a better developed character than Mashiro and that she is a more suitable girlfriend for Sorata. In terms of personal preference though, I prefer Mashiro (can't get enough of dandere characters XD). |
