Hello Fabulous member of RACE!!
I'm really sorry to not be sending out individual messages to you all, but unfortunately I don't know all of you ... and im lazy x'D
BUT i made this Valentines Day Event in order to get the chance to tell people how much they mean to me :)
Every single person in RACE means so much to me, I'm so happy you joined the club even if you aren't active (though you should be :P)
It means so much that you've stuck with me even when the club died for a bit.
I never imagined that my club would get so big. When i first started it I was hoping to even get 10 people. 20 was beyond my wildest dreams xD Now I'm above 1600!! I opened it just because i had joined mal and seen cards and wanted to try.
I probably shouldn't have made the club as early as i did .... but now I am so glad that I did C: Thank you to everyone that has joined the club, it's been such a pleasure to me watching the club grow and seeing the new people join.
Especially thank you to the people that joined at the very beginning. I'm not giving you a special message because i dont have time but I know who you are and you mean the world to me <3
Thank you all for joining my family ^^ And I hope you'll stick with me for much longer ^^ You're all the best C:

And Happy Belated Valentines Day!!

Hello Everyone of RACE!
Yes I mean everyone! This is a special delivery being sent out to everyone in the club! Whether you signed up for the newsletter or not :P (You should do that btw, if you haven't)
I'm the creator of Random Anime Cards Emporium, Miyuki (formerly Rozzimandias11), if you didn't know....
Special thanks to all my staff that helped with this delivery, it means a lot!
Now for the news

Thanks, and yeah I love GC's art and that picture too. AoT started off extremely well so until episode 8 I gave it 9 out of 10. Then it started to go downhill a bit, but thanks the the Female Titan Arc which only had reall godlike episodes that just forced me to marathon through it; that's why I put it On-Hold; so I had to give a good score. Now I have an extremely detailed way, actually always had to give subjective scores. Now the score that will be shown is the average of my personal and subjective score. AoT's subjective score was 9.6, personal 9.5, so it ended up being 9.55 which rounds to 10. Oh, and I apologize for the late answer. I'm not looking at my profile that much anymore since I'm not expecting comments on my page.

Oh wow that's quite a description :o Seems quite interesting though, especially with the twist you mentioned. It sounds like something I might want to try, I'll keep that in mind ^^ And yeah, VNs are usually difficult to adapt into anime, like Amnesia which I see you dropped after 2 episodes. Good call, I wish I dropped it too but I'm too masochistic to do that.

Ahh I see, that's a shame. Oh well, maybe I'll stumble upon the video one day. Haha yup, I did find Clannad pretty boring, I almost fell asleep. The first episode was good, but then the next two I had trouble paying attention. I actually love slice of life anime, but it's a little different when it comes to a slice of life anime with lots of girls, and most of them having high pitched voices. That's my personal problem though, probably because I am a girl and thus I'm not particularly interested in too many cute girls in one series :P I will definitely finish watching it one day though, since I hear AS was the touching/heartbreaking/tear-jerking part. I love tear-jerkers. Yeah I saw that too, I think on Sawano's MAL page, but I guess the game is still in development? Not that I have a wii U to play it if it ever gets translated into English. Oh nice! I had a feeling you might already have Accel World's soundtrack X) Haha yup, I guess music brings people together? lol

I found all of the other characters to be far more interesting than Madoka, especially Homura. ^^

tingy Jul 14, 2013 11:42 PM
Haha it's cool, it's always good to know your priorities with exams and all. Plus this is also a late reply :P I get pretty lazy when replying ._. Ohh Rewrite? What is it about? I've never played any VNs but I've looked through some of the available one for dl online.

Yay! Have fun trying out those manga ^^ Hopefully you'll like them.

Oh a video with the producers? Do you mind giving me a link to it? Unless you don't know where to find it again then it's fine X) And yes I got the OST!!! Of course! I'm pretty sure I have almost everything Sawano Hiroyuki has worked on, including OSTs from tv dramas. I agree though, all the songs are so good and extremely difficult to type out haha. I wonder how he names the tracks...o_o Me too, I got the Suisei no Gargantia OST, I love all the relaxing songs...I feel so calm listening to them. Production IG knows to hire the best composers. I recently just finished watching Seirei no Moribito, which is also by IG, and the soundtrack was pretty amazing. I have the soundtracks for Robotics;Notes, but I haven't listened to them yet. I think I will now though, thanks for the heads up!

That's good to hear, haha. Seems like we have the same taste in music! Same, I get lost on YouTube too often going though those titled "the most epic" or "the most emotional" >< I have a lot Key's music, like Little Busters, Clannad, Air, and Angel Beats, though I haven't watched three of them. Maeda Jun is a really good composer. "Quite a few anime OSTs"? Please, I have many XD Probably at least 40-50 something lol. Do you have Maoyuu Maou Yuusha's soundtrack? If not, I would recommend it, or Accel World. But you might already have them since you have such a great taste in music.

So I read your comment but never replied because of my laziness, but it was what you said that made me watch Madoka Magica. There were definitely nice twists (Mami's death in episode 3?!?!) and I like the psychological aspect of it, but I think I enjoyed it less because I dislike Madoka :P (and I didn't like the directing or the character designs...) But in terms of execution of the many themes, Urobuchi did do a great a job. The anime was really thought-provoking. Madoka Magica's strength was in the well written script. Thanks for telling me about it, otherwise I would've put it off for awhile.

Episode 8 is considered as an "ass pull"? Lolwhat. I mean, the reason will be explained later, how are they able to judge it already now. It doesn't make any sense. It would be crappy if everything was explained right away, and if that was the case, they'd bitch again. So basicly they bitch no matter what's done. Yes, I also can't wait. Levi makes his first appearance, yay.

Yes, it has got to be Snowfield. That mystic and epic sound, and then it's Ushio's death theme, too. (I hope nobody who didn't watch Clannad read this comment) It has a really amazing song. Also assuming you've watched Fate/Zero (too lazy to look at your list), I yesterday downloaded it's soundtrack. That soundtrack is also epic, especially Point Zero, Rule the Battlefield, Let the Stars fall down, This Day, and never again, Fate to Zero and there's much more. I'm addicting it currently.

Haha you're welcome, hope you like some of them when you get to them ^^ Yeah the author is definitely very famous, her art style is unique though, it took me awhile to get used to it. Oh yeah Psycho Pass. Good thing you liked the ending! I love how it's open-ended, and I don't think it's lazy writing like some people said it was. The loop was definitely one of the most interesting aspect about PP. The anime made me a fan of Urobuchi.

Yeah, the action scenes I think are quite difficult to animate for SnK, I think someone recently posted about it, how the animators would actually have to reference mountain climbing techniques or something to understand how the 3DMG would work in real life, and also for the MMA fighting. WIT Studio knows what they're doing. The effects make everything so much more intense than in the manga, like you said with the electricity flowing in Mikasa, as well as when titan Eren punched the other titans. Epic. And yeees that OST, I think it's Mika too, since it doesn't sound like English or Japanese...it could only be Mika! Aimee doesn't sing in German, I believe, or at least has never sung in German in Sawano's other anime OST songs. That song was really beautiful and moving. Need that OST ASAP. People are stupid complaining about the stills...it's been that way since episode 1 so I don't understand why it's such a deal to complain about them now. As long as the action/more important scenes are animated properly, there's really no need for complaints.

Episode 8 was beautifully done. Although I don't feel any connection with the captain, I definitely felt sad during the whole funeral...Suisei also has beautiful music, a lot of calm and relaxing songs. Haha I actually don't care that much for Amy, mostly because I sometimes have random biases against female MCs (might be because I'm a girl XD), but I love Ledo, Chambers, Bevel and Bellows. It's sad that Ledo is leaving Gargantia though, and the reason he's doing so is to protect Amy and the others, but Amy doesn't want him to get hurt. Everything is so complicated ;_; btw, since we didn't get to see the whalesquid territory in episode 8....I'm guessing we'll see it in 9! Looking forward to it after seeing the art for it ><

Haha yeah, I don't have any friends who share my love for epic scores/OSTs/instrumental music either D: Hmm here comes another long list! XD Well I'm sure you've heard of most, if not all of the ones I will mention:
Audiomachine*, E.S. Posthumus, Epic Score, Future World Music*, Immediate Music, Mark Petrie, Two Steps From Hell*, and X-Ray Dog*.

The ones with a star next to it are my favorites. I also like to listen to post-rock, not sure if you listen to it, since I don't think it's that well known of a genre. Just in case you don't, you should try:
Hammock, World's End Girlfriend, or God is an Astronaut

So how about you? I would also like to expand my music library X)

Hmmm, I do not actually know...I changed my forum picture a few times before, but it always varies when it actually appears =_= I feel like gifs takes longer time though. It probably has something to do with MAL lag...my display picture is still my old one when I use my iTouch, versus when I use my laptop...

Yuki is really stupid, and I totally understand that he's hated. However, starting from episode 19 or so, he became a better person and I almost started to like him. Roriconfan has also linked me twice to one of his reviews because he wants to bitch at me. From what I've seen, like that he totally destroyed his reputation and everyone stopped caring about him. He's way too negative, and no, someone like that doesn't change my view. God, if Shingeki is getting even better for real, it has chances to become my new favorite anime.

Oh, right, I forget responding to the Clannad part. Yes, I also love Clannad's soundtrack. I remember listening to it all the time previously, and my favorite track was named... "Snow" or something like that. But I also liked Roaring Tides, Existence, Nagisa, Uminari (how does it come I still remember all those names) and the second opening is my absolute favorite opening. I started rewatching it some days ago, and I start to get back into it's soundtrack, and probably going to listen to it again.

Thanks about the picture, but I just found it on Kanade's page on MAL. =P

I found the first episode to be awesome right off the bat. I mean, the main protagonist gets a mysterious diary, and suddenly he's supposed to die. It's really interesting, but if your friend are more into peaceful SoL animes like, K-On or Tamayura, then I can understand why they might not like it. The only fail was how Deus Ex Machina was an imaginary god for Yuki, but since a god can't exist in his mind, he's suddenly real. That was a little bit strange, but I guess that happened in the second episode right? Or in the first? I don't remember. Oh, and the eighth episode of Shingeki is already released. Yes, it's still awesome, but I'm afraid it goes downhill, because from now on it's really risky, they might do something wrong. Like, Eren is back, but why? What if the reason is completely illogical. In the next episode everyone turns against Eren, but what's the reason? I hope they do it alright.

Angel Beats' soundtrack is probably my second favorite. I've downloaded the whole soundtrack, really, everything. I also love Iwasawa's song which plays at episode 1, or My Song, which plays at episode 3. Also, the scene of Angel Beats actually didn't make me cry. But when it was around 2am, shortly after I downloaded the whole soundtrack, I started listening to it at night. Then until like, the half of My Most Precious Treasure was over, I had to remember all those amazing moments, hilarious characters and such, I felt I was about to cry, and then that awesome scene at 3:28 begins playing that made me burst into tears. What an amazing soundtrack. Also, I started watching Angel Beats two months ago, and watched it already four times. It's such an amazing anime.

Just dropping by to say hi because I noticed that I liked a lot of the series you favorite'd and because our anime compatibility is pretty high :)

I think I've seen you on the Sakurasou and SAO forums a couple of times as well.
xKyo May 22, 2013 10:06 AM
I might be totally wrong with that assumption, but it might be because they are scared of horror? Because there truly isn't anything wrong with episode 1. Anyone can say what they want, and I can understand if someone hates Mirai Nikki, but episode 1 was doubtlessly top. But hey, I'm glad to see that someone has a pretty identical taste. You like Another, Guilty Crown, Mirai Nikki, Angle Beats, hell, like, every anime I'd say are my favorites, unless you don't like Shingeki no Kyojin, which I'm not sure about.

It actually isn't a busy schedule, and since I recognized some animes have a pretty short episode duration, and I have the whole week no school (yay) I should be pretty fast done, with some luck even this month. If not, next month for certain.

As for Shiki, from what I heard, I don't know if it's right, the first episodes are supposed to be quite bad and it's supposed to get better, but so far Shiki is way too dark for my liking. The story seems fairly promising, though, but so far it doesn't seem like it's what I searched. But you could also just look at a review, too. =P

Then you seem to do the same like me. I have several soundtracks on my computer and I always put some soundtracks on my mobile, and when I feel like going out, I hear some soundtracks. I'm currently addicted to Angel Beats' soundtrack, just in case you are interested. Especially Unjust Life, SSS, and My Most Precious Treasure with vocals, which appears at the very end of Angel Beats. (That scene made me cry, which even Clannad, Code Geass or AnoHana didn't do. =P)

And god, I still don't believe it that my review is the most top review. I actually expected it to be the last review and look like an absolute loser. In all honesty, believe me, that happening was for me as unpredictable as Code Geass' story.

Also, sweet irony, instead of the responses getting smaller like it's usual, they get bigger. The infinitely lasting conversation! =P jk
