| Oh thank goodness! This episode was EXACTLY what I was hoping this series would be. It's totally over-the-top and comedic, without coming across as cheesy. I don't want to label it as anime of the season so quickly, but it likely will be in my eyes. |

| Pretty funny! I have a sweet spot for delinquents in anime because I love the way they talk so the whole episode was entertaining to me. I have to agree though that the humor here can become stale really fast so I hope they manage to vary the jokes and spice it up a bit in the next episodes. |

| Sakamoto-san is hazubendo <3 Kyaaaaa ~~ I like how that model guy was fat... and not the regular kind of fat we usually see in anime, not shaped like a ball, but more like tall with a rather big belly and a bit wider body in general, but his face not fat at all. |

Special mention to Sugita Tomokazu because he has played that volleyball scene with three different characters now. I'm actually still so excited about that, I laughed so hard when I first saw it. I literally went into Sakamoto Desu Ga? on a whim, knowing next to nothing about it except for a few of the voice cast. And then I see that scene, and I just immediately die of laughter because this is such a Takamatsu Shinji scene. But unfortunately, this also means I'm probably going to spend the rest of the show comparing it to Nichibros and DT. Hopefully, it'll live up to that quality, and I believe it is definitely capable of doing so. i can understand where you're coming from. i would have thought that too, i guess, if i didn't come to the manga first. ----- my other comment was deleted....why...-_- whatever i prayed to sakamoto-sama before watching, and this is what i get in return! thank you for answering me sakamoto! there was a few anime only moments (sakamoto explaining the "Hail Satan" fire thingie, the three friend playing volleyball, etc) but it was small and didn't mar the true Godliness of sakamoto. was really excited to see the defying gravity bit wasn't sure that it would be in this ep. total followers count atm: 5. it felt so short! very surprised no-one is comparing this to OPM so far. OP was GREAT, as expected. can't wait how the next one is adapted! |

| Actually a pretty decent episode. I liked the soundtrack and atmosphere but I can see this becoming repetitive. |

| Didn't like it. I dunno why but the anime makes me take this seriously which means I dislike Sakamoto. Couldn't get past half the episode. I will stick to the manga, having Sakamoto with a voice does the opposite effect. |

| YEEEEEEEEEES, Sakamoto is the Fabulousest! I watched it with my friend and we both laughed the whole episode, especially at the fire scene. That's my type of comedy, the lamest the best! It took a while for me to realize that the blond guy was fat, THOSE TITS MAN I love how there is only one person in the opening/ending |

| 2/5 dropped. If it was a 10 minute anime I'd understand and watch the next episode, but the other half didn't really bring any interest to me and I preffer to quit. And to me it feels like a Shoujo. |

| Sakamoto desu ga? was pretty random. I knew the animation would turn out like that, but I didn't expect Sakamoto to be so weird... no, he's weirder than weird. First episode was really funy, imo. Some parts were embarrassing to watch. lol |
| I enjoyed it, but the seemingly endless ball passing scenes were stupid. I really hope that there won't be any more scenes like that ^^ Other than that, fabulous :3 |
