Edit: Okay just skimmed through 2006 and 2009 renderings of Haruhi. Using your examples, it was kind of hard pin pointing your gripes (especially with your "2008" picture; if I remember correctly it was on a magazine or something) Anyway, a better comparison would be the episodes "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Part 1" vs. "Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody" when Haruhi is conversing with Kyon at their desks (when he asks her about guys vs when Haruhi asks Kyon about Tanabata). You can really make out differences there. I find 2009 Haruhi much more detailed and 'brighter' if you will. 2006 Haruhi is a lot darker. |

| I don't see much difference in Haruhi this season, the only time I notice similarities to K-ON! is when Haruhi smiles. It looks a lot like how Yui smiles. Other than that, I don't really care, at least her personality didn't change. |
Just wanted to get a comparison picture up... '06 on the left vs. '09 on the right. Excuse the crappy-ness of the screen shots. Taken from a streaming site and not from an HD source. Edit: Both were displaying ~16:9 so there shouldn't be too much difference between resolutions. |

| Maybe it was the video player of the streaming site, but Haruhi's face looks much skinnier in the '09 one. I'd have to say, I like how she looks there. |

| Still extremely boring. Skipped through E8 till people said it was over, then to think something at least average may happen but sigh's is just as boring as E8 for me. And it's not over yet :/ this is going to be either put on hold or dropped by me soon. |

But well; the way Tomokazu Sugita relates the story redeems a bit that fact. Movies always show alternate dual fire anyway, so Haruhi could easily get the idea from there. Besides, it is pretty logical that you don't shoot both at once due to the recoil don't you? Actually, it's more about tactics than recoil. If you fire both at the same time and it's a miss, you missed 2 shots. But if you shot one and miss, the next one still has the chance to land on target ~ if shot well. Also, consecutive shots will give you control over situation temporarily ~ the opponent might be disabled to fire (that's called suppression). Nevertheless you're right about not shooting both because of recoil is logical xD Still, Haruhi is a smart girl hehe. |

| I actually enjoyed this...nice to have a 'behind the scenes' of the first ep. I made the mistake of watching ep 12 of the 1st series right after seeing this though...and the difference in quality is extraordinary. This 2nd series is nowhere near the level of quality shown in the first series, even without the annoying elements of EE (contender for understatement of the year :-D) *sigh*...at least the Disappearance makes up for it |

| Nice, glad to see the series move forward :) . It can't really do much wrong I really enjoy the characters & their personalities plus the little bit of mystery in there. I used to make short films in college. In short, they're going about it quite bassackwards ^^ . |

| I can't stand Mikuru's "cute" voice...it hurts my ears D: this wouldn't have been so painful if I didn't find her voice so annoying...too much whining and crying. She's a high schooler....I don't know any high schoolers who cries that much, then again, the world is a vast place. I think I enjoyed Endless Eight much more than this. |
| Where in the world do you find a high schooler who is that good in ordering people around, blackmailing shop owners and who when s/he really doesn't get hish/her way may (subconciously) remodel the entire world? On another note, i wonder if Mikuru would have felt any better in a plug suit.. |

| This movie was funny only for a while but watching it for 24 minutes was retarded. Their acting was so poor xD The only good thing was the cat about to fall from Yuki's shoulder all the time lol. One of the worst series I had a displeasure to watch but I'm just watching it cuz ppl told me me to watch it before the movie .. |
| I am so confused. I thought Sighs was episodes 6 and 7, but according to the way MAL is organized it's apparently 10 and 11... and for some reason Endless Eight was only 5 episodes for me... whatever, maybe the order is all screwed up since Melancholy likes to make it confusing. |
