Most of the time when I see CGI in anime it does tend to look bad because it usually is just so poorly put together. This anime though, everything was fluid and looked nice. Video game quality graphics and animation. |

| i have no clue what the fuck is just watched nor if thats a good or a bad thing. I think im leaning more towards thinking it was good cause i cant deny there really isnt anything else like it and its said originality kept me interested the whole ep but im still not sure if i enjoyed myself or not, I think the only thing i know i disliked was some of the cutsy stuff. Though the one take away i have, is how the fuck are people saying the CGI looks bad, the chibi's look weird but the actual animation, lighting, movement, and everything is leagues above what is the norm for CG in anime, it was fluid colorful and fast moving. parfaited said: pretty much my sentiment, i wonder if this might become the underdog of the season for me or if it will just confuse me as to what im watching still.Let's just say I have a feeling this is amazing, somewhere, somehow. |

| okay, BONES, drop the CGI and it's gonna be a great anime. If I wanted to watch Pixar-like animation, I'd watch Cars or whatever, but I DO NOT WANT to. The 2D designs' moe level is over 9000, so please, let this be the last time we see the CGI... pretty please. I just wanna stare at the nekogirl, the pyuru girl and the yuri girl. A Chuchu is fine too. |

| I already said this in my first post here, but I really hope Shizuku Secretmind appear in the anime. They're one of my favorite bands from the game, their style of music really unique and just downright beautiful. |

| Reading replies, I feel like the only person that absolutely loved it. The CGI feels much more natural here than the animes I've seen recently (looking at you Sailor Moon Crystal). I love the chibi furry designs. It gives off a happy and upbeat atmosphere, and the character designs please the artist in me. I knew I'd love this when it was previewed months ago, and I'm glad I wasn't wrong. The ONLY thing I disliked was Maple. I don't really like mascots, and I don't understand the appeal of a walking egg being their manager. |

According to an animated short to promote the game from a couple years ago, the members of Plasmagica become their human forms when excited. I don't know if that's the way it works with all Myuumons due to my lack of knowing Japanese. The previews for the anime didn't really show the Myuumon forms, which I found very odd. From what I saw, some fans of the game weren't going to watch the anime at all if the Myuumon forms weren't going to be in it, but luckily they are. The promotion for the anime overall was a little weird, making it hard for anyone who didn't already play the video game to know what it was going to be about. Hence all the confusion in this thread, I can assume. They probably could have done better at promoting it to people who aren't already familiar with the franchise. |

| first of all wtf did i just watch? i was expecting it to be something like k-on but no. i didn't like the CG. yes, it was nicely done but i just felt it was really unnecessary and it weird. like, how even uses CG in anime nowadays? i will continue watching tho, i seems kinda interesting. but, really i'm just staying for the seiyuus and cute girls. but like tsukishimas seiyuu is in this show cyaaa 3/5 |

After one episode I'm already thinking of putting it in my top 5 I loved it that much! I didn't completely get it at first but I watched it again now knowing what was going on and it was MUCH more enjoyable, though I enjoyed it both times through. People need to realize CG isn't bad and not try to compare it to K-On. If they want K-On I have a feeling Sound Euphonium will be much more like it. But trust me people, if you don't completely get it, watch it again. It will be much more understandable and enjoyable the second time through. Also that ending was amazing!!! |
| Hmmm I am no fan of CGI animation, but once it turned back to 2d I gotta say I most definitely enjoyed watching it ^^ I enjoyed both the comedy and the nekomimi... one does not simply dislike nekomimi :P |

| How is the 3DCG bad? This is actually the best 3DCG I've seen in an anime thus far. All in all, huge surprise. I didn't think it would be this good, but goddammit it is. Good songs too, which is important since it's a music anime. The 2D designs are also cute as fuck. Bones is really doing a great job this season. |

| Everyone is so negative about this show.. Yeah, the cgi came by surprise, but despite that fact I actually enjoyed the episode and liked the art and music. The opening song will ruin me, I know it already. |

| This is really fun to watch. I didn't see a problem with 3D CG, rather trying so hard to fit in 3D CG with 2D animation, they use the 3D CG at the perfect moment, and in a proper way. And the characters also likeable, so far my favorite is Maple-Sachou!  4/5, will continue to watch this. |

| I don't know, I actually liked it :) The 3D was a bit weird but I think it gives the sense of "another world" or rather "another dimension" more literally. It kinda reminded me of the segment in Psycho Pass with the virtual world and the strangeness of it. The OP and music seems kinda..bland, meh, especially for an anime centered on music. Will continue watching~ |
