Anyone here play Guild Wars 2? It's on sale for $10 again. I did the trial and wasn't really sold, but I have tons of time to kill and $10 is pretty cheap...

Have very limited free time b/c of work + school so I may not finish the game until the summer lol. Then I'll probably be playing Xenoblade Chronicles for New 3DS after that..

If you're low on time, Xenoblade Chronicles will take a long time to finish, depending on how many times Lorithia kicks your ass how many sidequests you do.

Getting my trophy completion on Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F 2nd on PS3.

Either Eternal Sonata, Tales of Xillia, Legasista, or Silent Hill Downpour is coming next.

Disgaea is delicious. I played that a few months ago, finally. I ended up buying Disgaea 2 and La Pucelle: Tactics right after, but I'm not 100% finished with the first one yet.

Disgaea series is one of my favorite SRPG series, only beaten by Dept. Heaven series.

Disgaea just gets wackier every game. Wait till you two get to the sardines in Disgaea 4.

Y's Celceta. So far its fun, Story is ok. But a lack of Voice acting makes it feel PS2's. Not to mention the graphics are dated.

But yeah not bad. Shame there is no Customisation.

After Persona 4 Gold. It just feels like there is a lack of games I can feel happy playing.

One of the Ys series charms is it being old-ish. At least, for me.
Ys soundtracks are godlike, tho.

Is a good game for it's time, but I expected much more from it because of the hype it got. Frog is great at least, easily my favorite character in this game.

I really like what they were trying to achieve, the problem is that it wasn't implemented too well IMO.

The battle system is great, (not the best of it's kind that I've played though, that honor belongs to FFX-2), but since the enemies are easy and choosing an action command quick is the rule for finishing random events fast, you barely bring it to it's full potential until you're in the final stages of the game, which is pretty short (12-16 hours long).

The characters are pretty one dimensional and uninteresting, mostly just walking archetypes ("I'm Crono and I'm the Hero", "I'm Lucca and I'm a MADDO SCIENTISTO", "I'm Robo, a ROBOT", etc.) with the exception of Frog and Magus (to an extend), who are the only characters that get any resemblance of actual development or backstory.

The setting is great, I like the effort they took in making unique timelines with a character from each one. However, a lot of them are just poorly developed/paced since you just jump from one to the other too fast (sometimes not even within an hour), which doesn't give the player/me enough time to get attached to the circumstances of that place or their supporting, secondary or even main characters one bit. For example, how am I supposed to care even at the fact of
when I just get him again in a few minutes after that?

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it, to the point that I think is a good game and can see how it was one of the best of it's time because of it's unique approach at a time-travelling adventure. Is just that, right now, is my believe that there are more polished and fun games that came out after it.

Pokemon Dark Rising, it's like pokemon suddenly stopped being for kids. Holy shit this is hard!! In the first 2 hours I got sent back home to my mommy after getting owned about 10 times. I don't think I've lost 10 battles in all the other pokemon games I've played combined -__- most I lost was 2 in a row vs fkn Brock and Misty cause Rock>Charmander and Water>Charmander

I have a little bit, I don't really enjoy it that much and a huge pull for me with ragnarok is the private server community, and RO2 doesn't really have one.

I feel like RO2 is more geared towards individual PvP and has more balanced classes in that regard, but RO1 is designed more to be Clan vs Clan and is incredibly balanced there, because you can design clans in many varieties of ways with many combinations of classes. That's where the classes that aren't as good come in handy, because people don't expect them and don't have answers to them.

I'm waiting until Tree of Savior is released to move on from RO1, it looks awesome.
