| So... what can I say? This did yet again, not disappoint. I was a bit thrown off at first when I didn't get to hear a remade version of Church on the hill but the track/s they chose to use worked out just fine, if not great! And Rin's butt? Well, I like her even more now! (XD) But yeah, I like how Ufotable's chosen to represent her in this adaptation and it suits her, does her justice. Sure, it was a bit silly with her shaking her but at the screen buuut(t) I still enjoyed it. And finally we get to see our glorious savior, Kotomine Kirei! (And get to hear his man-voice) Yorokobe shounen indeed... the lack of action was neatly replaced by some reeeally well produced tension in the Kotomine Church, the priest we all know and love truly did bring out a great performance explaining the HGW for both Shirou as well as the viewers new to this franchise without necessarily spoiling any future events, just foreshadowing some that have already happened and that is just great! Sure the "rejoice" moment wasn't as good as it could've been but it fit with the show's direction so far, at least according to me. And that Illya + Berserker foreshadowing... this truly is Unlimited Teasing Works! (GAH) Let's hope for another great episode next week minna, keep the episode threads alive and the priest count adequately high! ~LuckyPriest |

| Why some people don't get that everything in Fate/ universe is rather complicated and, knowing that this new adaptation is basicly the start of everything, the series everyone should watch before anything else, it has to be explained properly. |

Even if you are just exaggerating, 99% is complete bs. There isn't any requirement to watch UBW because it's a standalone work, and anyone who says otherwise is either a big fat liar or simply doesn't know what he/she is talking about. FSN UBW is meant to be seen before FZ, so it's your own fault, if you think what they are doing is redundant. A complete work gives you the necessary information you need, to understand the story, so the info has to be given away. Not to mention, our protagonist doesn't understand the rules and connecting the 4th war with Shirou is important. Of course you find it boring, if you are familiar with other Fate/ related works, but that doesn't change the fact that more people would probably complain if the information had been left out. This series is also targeted at newcomers, who need the info to understand why and what the characters are doing. |

I didn't find this boring at all, sorry it just WASN'T. This is coming from someone who saw the non existing 2006 adaptation, and F/Z. If you find proper foreshadowing, character development, and explanation of the plot, boring, then i have no idea how you know what a story is. | Only just now watched the episode. This adaptation is excellent so far. Kirei stole the show of course, and the info-dump was handled nicely. Next week will be amazing, I can foresee the epic already. Shirou, Rin and Saber are fun as always, like in the VN. P.S. - The opening, and especially the ending song by Kalafina just gets better and better each time. A certain "C.G" is getting me emotionally prepared already. |

| Watched ep 1 and 2 back to back finally. As a newbie to this Fate/ series, I can already see the potential. Looking forward to more. Animation and art are great. Pacing is still a bit slow for my liking but I can speed it up, so it's not that big of a deal. I appreciate the info dump as I had no idea what the Holy Grail War was. I think the premise is a bit silly though. Kind of a battle royale style thing but I'm hoping for a bit more than just killing. People told me there would be philosophical themes (for F/Z) so I'll be expecting those here as well. |
