| I am really hating Ange so far, she is worst of the bitches kind. I was hoping whole episode that she will get beat or tortured how much she annoys me. And that exposition whole episode with Coco was so over the top that i didnt even cared when she was killed off so that bish Ange gets reality check. Only thing that is keeping me to watch this anime are those awesome transformers mecha. They are the coolest mecha i ever saw in any anime *.* |
| I find arsehole/bitch characters interesting. So I guess I like Ange. At least she isn't like every other crappy MC out there. Apart from the yuri rape and skimpy outfits I like everything else about this show, although it's understandable why western anime fans do not like this. |

| Loved this episode, up until poor Coco died :'( I know Ange's going to get blamed for it too. Though it was kinda her fault for deciding to try and fly away the first chance she got. Of course the girl who worships her was going to try and come along too. Then the gate opens right on top of them and BAM! Death by dragon. RIP Coco, we hardly knew ye. Was kinda annoyed that they censored the yuri attempted rape scene. Apparently any actual occurances of nipple are being saved for the Blu-Ray. As extreme as the fanservice already is, I can't complain too much. The captain's becoming one of my favorite characters, with her insatiable sexual appetite and dynamite body, not to mention a harem of hot girls waiting on her hand and foot (and other places). Poor Ange needs to get her head together though. She's not a pampered princess anymore, and the longer she tries to pretend she is the more she's going to get hurt. We know from the cold opening though that she eventually becomes quite the badass. I love that the show's getting two cours ... wonder if Ange is going to try and change how Normas are treated and figure out a place for them in the otherwise utopian society. |

| Not that it's a defense but I find it funny that when you have lesbian sex scenes in shows like Monogatari or Prisma/Ilya just coming in largely out of nowhere it's considered not only 100% okay but incredibly desirable and praiseworthy but when it happens here the creators are awful awful horrible people. It just looks like a pretty brutal double standard at play. |

| Mixed feelings about Ange's character. I like how she tries to act cool even with the seniors but at the same time, her arrogance kinda pisses me off. I guess it'll be a while before she completely adapts to her fate. Them fanservice and Yuri scene though.. I mean, (almost) everyone likes a bit of fanservice in the show, but that was just unnecessary. And it seems like this type of scenes will be in every episode from now on; Unless Zola dies, of course. Coco's death wasn't as sad as it should've been. Perhaps the execution of the scene was poor or her character didn't develop enough for the audience to feel bad for her. Average episode. Looks like Ange will get a little character development (mecha-wise) next week. |

| You know, to be honest, while this anime is fanservice trashy, its really the main character's annoying personality that keeps me watching. The fact that she refuses to just accept the circumstances is real enough. However, her characterization doesn't just skim the surface of indignant princess here. She excels in what she knows, and falters entirely in common things she's never done. She doesn't find it odd to use people like when she had that high pitched girl buy things for her. She also finds it irritating to hear people praise her as a princess. It's a very clear drawn line between her and everyone else- and not just because she's being stubborn, but due to the fact that she genuinely believes that there's been some mistake. Ange's doing nearly everything to get out- from the constant declarations of her full name to the forms and breaking away from formation. What I really think would have been fantastically intriguing is what her answer would have been to the high-pitched girl (who died) and said, "take me with you to the magic land". If Ange had sneered at her and called her a low life Norma or even if she had masked her disgust and decided to use the girl as a means to escape unharmed- either would have been some amazing depth in characterization. The fact that the ex-princess is so hateful and high and mighty is precisely why I haven't dropped this show yet. Done right, her characterization could evolve into something more dark and ugly instead of, "Oh the kingdom was wrong, Norma are human, let's all attain human equality guys!",making this questionable animation delve into a fantastic revenge fest (which is always fun to watch). So, the next episodes better have a lot more attitude and characterization cause that's all that this show's riding on for now. I really hope that we'll see Ange grow into an angst driven anti-heroine position. |

I mean, it looks like the plot focuses on having at least one rape (and one murder) scene per episode and flashing parts of female bodies all the rest of the time. Well, at least it's different from other mainstream shows. Though I dislike that they keep showing body parts in viewers' faces even in scenes, that are supposed to be dramatic. I liked how she didn't do a 180 in that she still doesn't fully accept her situation. I'd rather have her development,come gradually instead of feeling rushed. And all in all, it feel's kind of fresh to have a main character like her. But I was somewhat disappointed with this episode tbh. I'm kind of hoping for an entertaining trainwreck like Valvrave but Cross Ange has more fanservice than necessary(or at least this episode did) to the point that it seems to heavily rely on it. I just hope this won't turn out to be something like Freezing... |
| Damn i want the uncensored episodes now lol. My advice to everyone is to not take this series seriously. I read a review where the guy was pissed and stuff. This anime is a bishoujo mecha. Don't take it seriously. Anyway, i'm actually enjoying it so far. I like the concept (which is cliche but in a good way) and the whole dimension this series is in While I don't have high hopes for this series, it's fun to watch. R.I.P Coco, you ain't going to the magical world now. |
