| Hehe, so Sheele sucks at everything except killing? Very convenient character flaw. :P Great episode, things are finally becoming darker and more serious. It was rather painful to see Tatsumi get slapped in the face with reality, but also refreshing as we never got some proper closure for his friends' deaths. Looks like we have an evil Elsa. Gross scene with the "hero" licking her feet. I mean, at least die with honor, so-called "hero." Also, the dude who controls the little king is still as disgusting as ever. Such a juxtaposition between absolute disgust and absolute cute in this show. xD It's almost a little jarring. pLaguE_ said: za21 said: No it doesn't. | Well, well. Although this show already has at least two female badasses, another one appears. The way she just killed the leader of the North with a kick, and after all the hype he got was pretty sweet. Sheele's nice, i just knew there had to be a clumsy-but-hardcore type in Night Raid. Seryu reminds me a lot of Sasha from AoT. I really like the transition between comedy and grotesquerie. Perfect balance so far, hope the Ice Queen will get back soon. |

| The beginning scene with Ieyasu and Sayo was heartwarming...it really helps reinforce Tatsumi that they were very important friends that doesn't stop get mentioning after the first episode... Sheele sleeping next to injured Tatsumi...what a caring airheaded character! （ΦωΦ） That masterpiece of fruits arranged by Akame...I always thought she was only capable of making meats and fish look good...but wow, haha, that was unexpected. (*´艸`*) And Lubbock...his opinions are never heard...poor him...I just hope this doesn't affect him in future.... -spoiler or not- *wink* *wink* We finally got to Sheele, and wow, no censoring indeed! I'm glad my little brother was at his friend's birthday party, lol. That sound of neck slashing... *shivers* Bulat appearing at the end was anime original...love it (with his muscle flexing, lol)! xD And ofc, that fanservice has to get out of the way! I was sure Tatsumi bled when the rejecting reaction occurred...but I guess not? And Esdeath which most manga readers were anticipating finally appeared! (just few seconds in this scene) The scene where Tatsumi talked about reviving dead was really well done...it was really hard reading/watching in both manga and anime...so much feels...everybody's reaction compared to Tatsumi's was really hard to watch.... 。ﾟ(ﾟﾉД｀ﾟ)ﾟ｡ Yes! more character developments for Tatsumi...crying...he's really just a (ab)normal teen... ( ﾟдﾟ) Sheele's such a wonderful older sister figure...Tatsumi, be sure to treasure this precious moment! That...was...brutal...they didn't show cut up Northerners in the manga...but yep, it really helps show how OP Esdeath is, defeating the prince of North just like that...it really surprised me when I first read that in manga...OP...Esdeath... The defection of General Nakakido and General Hemi...I hope they get to have some role in future. Hana Kana's voice was actually fitting for Seryu... xD Of course, I have to wait for the next episode or the episode after that to decide if I'll be happy... (most likely, it'll be half-and-half :P) And haha, Koro was bouncing around while Seryu was running...that dog... Definitely looking forward for next episode! | Hey guys, are we allowed to report to mods about spoilers? On Crunchyroll at least, you can report to mods to remove spoiler posts. I'm wondering if you can do the same here? I'm a manga reader and it pains me to see other manga readers spoiling the shit out of the people! It's like, just don't say anything! God damn! Just let people predict!!!!! But the sad thing is that this probably won't stop. So the best thing to do for you anime only watchers to do is: 1. Avoid opening all spoiler tags - Just don't do it! DON'T FUCKING DO IT!!!!!! 2. If you quote someone that made a spoiler, try deleting their post in the quote so it doesn't have to be brought up on each page. I find it pretty annoying the spoiler keeps on getting quoted and is shown on a each page. And to my fellow manga readers. Be as vague as fucking possible. I understand we're all excited, but we are ruining other people's fun with the show. Just keep from saying too much! BE VAGUE! Don't talk about future events too much or go into any big details about future events, just let people figure it out on your their own. Even if you're talking about how you feel about a certain character, like Seryu, just be vague about your feelings towards them. Also if you really want to say something about the future then put it in a spoiler tag, even if it's a the slightest hint. Saying "a huge fight next episode is going to happen", "the next episode is going to be intense", etc., I think is fine. But reframe from going into too much detail. It really ruins the fun for anime-only watchers. Anyways I've said my piece. |

I like the story so far but tbh, the animation seems a little dated(it's 2014 but it looks like an '09 or '10 anime) but I guess I'd rather have oldish looking animation than pretty animation with a bad adaption that rushes and skips the manga material for an anime original story. But I like the artsy still frames that happen whenever a big kill happens. |
