| Very fun show indeed. It's too bad I remember this scene from when I was younger. It kind of ruined the twist. :) Definitely similar to Code Geass, a bit more realistic at times. |

Now that I think about it, Light only wrote part of the criminal's real name (we don't know what the "L" in "Lind L. Tailor" stands for). So, it implies that a full name isn't necessary to kill someone. I guess the following episodes will clear that. |

| What a great episode! The first episode had me kind of iffy, I wasn't sure whether it was going to be as good as everyone said but this episode totally convinced me that it will. L is really clever but I doubt Light is going to go down without a fight. |

| This episode was MUCH better than episode 1, and I'm already feeling the Code Geass comparisons. Light already reminds me a ton of Lelouch, though clearly less cool 'cause you can't get more cool than Lulu. Great episode. |

| Quite fast pacing, but it suits this anime very well. Things are getting more interesting and I can't wait to find out how it all goes. I would also say that Death Note is living up to it's reputation. I'm loving it so far. So finally the infamous L makes an appearance. I know he plays a significant role in the story, so I am keen to find out exactly how it all comes together. I really enjoy the opening and the ending isn't bad either. Soundtrack overall seems great as well. |

| Wow, that was interesting. I absolutely like smart characters. And both said they are justice at the end. I just like how the show sheds light upon the subjectivity of concepts like justice, that are usually taken for granted. |

| Light had his values challenged and he got baited so badly, showing signs of his immaturity right away. Jesus. Even though I kind of saw that trap coming the moment he showed himself (because I already know what L looks like) it was a brilliant way to clarify what was going on and narrow everything down. I gotta marathon this now. |
| A more intense ep than the 1st one. Nice move from L's side. And they even made the voice actor of Kudou Shinichi, the famous high school detective from Conan, voice L, how fitting! |
