| I usually skip intros but that 80s OP caught off guard Amazing arc and season. This ep was so tense. I kept wondering if he was gonna die and then the end :/ Of all the narrators I think Kaiki might be my favorite. |

| Okay so from what I've gathered here from everyone thus far: - Kaiki isn't dead, comes back later in the timeline of the entire series. - His assailant is unknown except for the fact that he could see a snake curse wrapped around him before he passed out. Ougi is the one responsible for telling the assailant that Kaiki was back. - Kaiki's facination with Senjougahara revolves around the fact that she looks similar to his old love (Kanbaru's mother?) - Senjougahara may have had feelings for Kaiki way back in the day when he claimed to be helping her with her mom's cult problem (and those feels went south after he ended up swindling her family?) - Araragi is desperately trying to keep his harem alive, seeing as he lost Mayoi and Tsubasa in consecutive arcs. - Kaiki mentions something about wondering why Oshino, being someone who wants to show up in front of the kids, still hasn't shown up. What could it be that has held him up from returning to the town? Totally can't wait for the next season already! |

| "Then... do you want to be a mangaka?" I lol'd, definitely my favourite moment of the series and I think overall this was my favourite episode across all seasons thus far. Overall I still lack the feeling of a grander story to give some actual sense of progression as the series is pretty damn repetitive at times, which is a bit of a shame given the potential it has. Although that might be nitpicking, it's still a great show. 8/10 |

To be fair, there wasn't even a lie since no one said he was dead. He even hinted future action in his epilogue. If you look at the scene in the most literal point with blood pooling over Kaiki's head, you could assume he dies from blunt force trauma. This is I feel at the most superficial layer. If you think a little bit on it, and what perspired it looks like just a concussion he received from a pipe to the head. People have survived this in the real world, and reports of crazy stuff like this happening all the time. Once we add in the supernatural that we have in this world, and all the mystery that is hidden deep below nothing should be taken at face value. Since I do not have any future knowledge about this series outside of the anime, and some reading on the Wiki to make sure I have characters in line (while trying to avoid spoilers) I am interested to see what he has planned for the future, since once thing about a person who plays politics and manipulates for a living always have a backup and a backup to the backup plan. |

(I put Kaiki there because of his tsundere. (Kaiki is a tsundere right? I mean actually he really cares about Senjougahara but never say it) and for Meme... I don't know why I put his name there, just my instinct I guess (Well, despite being the main heroine/girl on the first cover, she end up being the less important character in most arcs (only side character even in the latest novels) so... it's kinda fishy or should I say hard to believe? (Just my guess though, no need to agree with me :) ) P.S: English is not my mother language, so sorry for grammar. :) That is supposed to be secret... |

| And my favourite series ended. Great conclusion, kinda fits it. Looking forward to Hana but please for the love of god i wan my kizu thats things been teasing us for like 3 years. Overall 10/10, just love this series |

| So I'm not the only one who thought the snakes were ... meh. Glad to hear it. Kaiki was really the man. The last two minutes really got me. I think the whole season deserves a solid 9. |

| Damn I want more still hurry up shaft Looking at some of the comments I see Kaiki didnt necessarily die. I started rememebr how much a human head bleeds like crazy it doesnt necisarily mean having your head beaten in all the way. It was just a middle schooler beating him after all. I like how how Kaiki was able to concinve Nadeko but his own convincing of her was a bit of an exposing of his own issues he has as well with his need for money which shows hes covering up for past hurt and relying on money only |

| It just dawned on me Kaiki could of just pulled everything out of his ass and in actually things were quite different. Kaiki man, too cool for school. If the Anime adaptions are this thrilling I need to get my hands on the novel ASAP. |
| I really enjoyed the part where Koyomi was silenced like a little bitch while Kaiki was doing his job. I really enjoyed the series, especially the end. I didn't expect it though. |
| I just put Kaiki on top of my favorite characters. He's damn well right and what he said should spread throughout the world especially to any naive person who thinks his/her love partner is the center of their universe. Some are just so stupid they'd even change their religion not really because they believe it but only because their love partner said so, some even cut ties with their family. "Romance can strengthen people, but it can also make them useless", I should remember to quote Kaiki for this. |

| Wow...what an ending... I definitely did NOT see that coming. I have no idea if Kaiki is really dead or not, but this was one hell of an arc, and easily the best season of the Monogatari series. This is one of the easiest 10/10s I have ever given out. And Monogatari Second Season wins "Anime of the Year" for 2013 by a LAND SLIDE in my honest opinion. What an amazing show this was.....I literally can't wait for the next season. 10/10 |

That wasn't a setup so he could appear to fail and then give her the real deception. That really was his plan. That was the impression I got when reading it anyways. I am sometimes a biased reader, reading into it what I want to read but the way I took it, he really was surprised that he couldn't deceive her. Only she could deceive AND help herself. He did end up convincing her of this, to allow him to help her, but she had to do it. If she hadn't wanted to, he would have been dead. |

Both character accepted the mission because they do it for a person they care for. Both characters were a "softie" with a tough outlook image. Both characters were hated by readers, until their last action revealed their good intention. | Easily a 10/10. Man autumn season is filled with 10/10 animes, seriously, now it'd be hard for the winter animes since autumn's season kicked my expectations for anime up a notch. Back onto the topic, KAIKI! WHY?? I hope that's not the end of him. Kaiki's character really grew on me, from someone i really hated into a character that i really can't bear to see him being killed off just like that. And i'm pretty sure 134213201321 people noticed it already, but what the hell is with that sluggish animation? The snakes are horrible. I hope shaft's going to adapt the final series of monogatari.. |

| Since this arc has ended, it will be all right if I mention this; People seems to be confused with the term/title 'Hitagi End'. Well, the 'End' in this case is not exactly refers to an ending (of Gahara) per se but it is an Engrish term used by the Japanese in to point out a character's route/plot development. Thus 'Hitagi End' here specifically means the story will revolve around Senjougahara Hitagi (though not much since it was all about Kaiki and Nadeko), not the ending of the character itself. |
