( i still wondering why JC staff cant pull season 1 to be as good as 3 episodes of lb refrain ToT ) and that "song for friend" for you, very well executed with kurugaya last scene. JC Staff please confirm refrain get 20 episodes and i can die happily. |

| That felt like five minutes. Praise Kurugaya. Such a tragic heroine. The route was changed a ton from the VN, but the changes made a lot of sense on the whole. I'm expecting further changes for the rest of the story and can't wait. |

| Well. This episode really upped my standards. This was fantastically executed and I feel gave a much better explanation to everything that Kurugaya's route in the VN. That left a bit TOO many questions. They ADAPTED (To those complaining that this was too different to the VN route) the reasoning behind all of it to fit the anime variation and man does it make a good effect. 'You must protect Rin-kun...' That line was great. Kurugaya knows her shit. Once June 20th end, shit's going down. Not just because he forgets Kurugaya, but it's the beginning of everything. On the note of Refrain being 13 episodes... Phew. It may be short, but damn is it not long. I don't want to see Refrain stretched, drawn-out and butchered to the extent it would've if it had been 26 episodes like so many people had asked. I mean really, people who are complaining, did you really expect to get such a strange number like 17 or 18? I don't think I've seen a single anime like that. Ever. In J.C. Staff's eyes it was either 13 episodes or 26 episodes. I think the more logical choice of those two would have to be 13. Just as you can butcher with things being too short, you can butcher with things being too long. Refrain's pacing was very different to After-Story's so don't compare those two. The only reason Refrain was longer in text was due to the character episodes, which had a lot of repeating of previous events in them. If they did that in the anime, I think it'd get a little annoying. In the VN it worked because they have description of everything and each character has a unique voice. But it's not as prevalent in anime and I don't want each character constantly narrating everything. They will most likely do some ADAPTING (Like they're being paid to do) to make the episodes work and not be as repetitive as they'd be if they did it 1:1. But yeah, semi-rant over. Overall, fantastic episode and I'm excited to see what J.C. does with it. Fingers crossed that they know what they're doing! |
| That animation still amazes me, it's so fluid and beautiful. So Kurugaya also has some idea about the time loop. Snowing in june and they don't care at all. So it was Kurugaya's dream! Kurugaya has the best route for sure, expectations can do you that; I know.. So sad and when she cried, my heart was so moved... Is she not gonna appear anymore? I don't want that..... And this is the first anime to get a perfect 10 from me this season, Nagi no Asakura was supposed to be my most fav. but this episode was too much for me, not to give it a perfect score. |

| OK episode, though I'm sure there are things I didn't get. I understand why they put Kurugaya's route in the second season, cause it's definitely the most confusing one for the moment, the others didn't raise as many questions as this one. So next time is Rin's route, right? I guess that's when the real romance will occur. |

| My God spectacular episode! Little Busters! deserved a higher score well here, despite being fifth in the monthly ranking, this Refrain will be to break the hearts of all. Great episode, full of visual games, very white, but remember that the game also had this footprint snow and the 'dream world'. Only missed a few characters in the episode, other than that, closing with Song for Friends to stop anyone <3 |

I'm unbelievably interested in this "world" they're in and the secrets that are yet to be revealed.... I have a feeling that Kyousuke knows a lot more what's going on than Riki does....and he just doesn't want to tell him for some reason... |

| Great ending to Kurogaya's route, what happened to JC Staff? They are doing a great second season so far! I hope it continues that way. Now we have to wait for next week's episode. The preview is short but really hypes me. Kurogaya 10/10. |

| I loved this episode. When song for friends started to play I knew that a heavy rain of tears were going to fall and they did. I want to know what exactly was Kurugaya because that farewell was too beautiful. Also I did not expected at the third episode. Another scene to be forever in my memory. |
| It was nice to watch (Kyousuke in the rain T^T Don't look so sad, you are breaking my heart~), I don't remember much from her route in the game, so if something was changed, it didn't have big impact on me. Honestly, I don't get this arc even knowing Refrain and the secret of the world. Time to re-read visual novel, probably. They cut off REALLY a lot though, and she was my second favourite character... No time to regret I guess, since now comes the REAL deal, Rin-chan's arc <3 Finally, best girl will have some time to shine. Is it just me, or she sounded kinda different this episode. I'm thinking about "Song For Friends" now, too. Is it sung from Yuiko's perspective? I used to think that it's from Kyousuke's, but now I think "Haruka Kanata" suits him more. |

I guess they are made so everyone could see their favourite characters' emotion in it (and that's why I see Kyousuke everywhere, lol). Well, I'll say that in the grand scheme of Little Busters, Kurugaya wasn't a huge priority in the VN, or in the anime, so the budget was kind of inconsistent. Her backstory segment barely had any animation, and the flashbacks from season 1 were partially copied from season 1, with a few scenes being redrawn. I think the good parts well animated so to get the Japanese audiences hyped for the upcoming arcs. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a sudden overall quality increase for the main story. I thought the ending was beautiful, even if Kurugaya wasn't developed as well as in the VN. The ending was more emotional than in the VN for me. Most VN readers didn't really get much impact from her route, and while I would've liked the proper development to be there, I'll settle for the comedy and nice animations. >"Protect Rin"? Anime-original ;) and the OST is pretty nice, and they're saving some even better ones for later. |
