| What did I just watch, nothing really happened...? I didn't like Hyouka at first, but in the end I actually liked it. Could this be same kind of show? Just like Hyouka animation quality is great, even better than Hyouka's imo. |

I liked it, personally. The way it's animated is so soft and cute, if that's possible. Rikka's gothic attire was cute. And I think Yuuta is hilarious, and I think this show will be great. Can't wait for next week :D |

| Okay, so I saw that UTW were doing this (or rather, part doing this) and grabbed it but forgot about it for a bit, until I saw the WOOP WOOP video on youtube, and then watched the shit out of this episode! Liked this first episode quite a bit, it's heart warming! |

| This anime looks extremely promising. Loved the first episode.Writing's awesome, the animation is great and the concept is sweet as well. Definitely going to be following up on it. Rikka has taken "moe" to a whole new level and the animators did a very nice job adding to this. The spring noises when her ahoge bounces, her roller shoes, it's perfect. The ending is just too good, the animation and the song itself. |

| Cute for the sake of cute doesn't cut it for me. Either you have a great story or great character interactions. Or you could be awesome and have both! =D So far Rikka is holding this show. Her high energy and antics are enough to keep me watching for now. However, this first episode has had a lot of male lead abusing cute female lead for the sake of comedy. Funny maybe the first time. Really stale the 4th time onwards. The premise itself about being true to yourself and your public image can be a great story. Hopefully, we have some serious scenes instead of just scenes where the male lead abuses the female lead. At least this is still better than Hyouka... |

| I don't really know about this, it feels very uninspired and I don't really feel anything watching it, as if it was just made to be made rather than made with any care put into it. The jokes were just kind of there, the cast felt like hollow shells just playing their parts, and the city and school didn't feel alive at all even with all the people around. There's some cute girls but sadly, KyoAni recycling the exact same character designs and art style they've used in the past like 5 shows they've made really makes them not all that appealing and also helps add to that hollow feeling. It's okay, but it just feels even more generic and empty than it's cast, which is pretty sad. It just feels like they wanted to make something to try and play it safe while possibly making up for their last flops, and ended up with something entirely devoid of character, personality, or charm. It feels almost as if I'm watching a placeholder for an anime rather than an actual series. Also, really didn't care for the opening one bit. Mediocre song and really terrible video with a few cute scenes in it being the only saving grace. And I have to say, that girl with the hairclip just hanging randomly on her hair really legitimately makes me angry. The clip does nothing there, at all, it's just fucking stupid and makes no sense. For now, gonna knock it into the backlog in hopes watching it some other day will somehow make it less...bad. Cute character designs don't make up for terribly hollow personalities, generic and plainly delivered comedy with no effort or love put into it, and such an empty feeling world. |
