| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- The first half of the episode was dedicated to Millia x Pam yuri coupling, while the second half reveals Sylvius the Ripper, the new "submersible" whale. :) So, will Pam be able to keep her promise of catching 15 ships for Tatiana? Heh, what a way to keep the viewers occupied with later episodes of the show. :P |

| Love to see old characters on screen. Color setting in Silvyus almost look like Silverna. 15 ships is enough to make a fleet. For Anatory. I think there is a conspiracy behind this. And Sophia is mastermind for sure. lol |

| 3.5/5, second half was good. Just having trouble following the nations, not sure who's at war with each other and such. Also, still cannot take a nation named Potato seriously. |

Onii said: Do they not recognize Dio? If they do, why isn't Tatiana interested? It's fucking Dio! (hehe), oh, I'm sure she knows who he is. I doubt his presence is a surprise to them. Tatiana just never did like Dio. |

| Was I the only one who shouted in glee when Tatiana gave the so called "genius", Fam Fan Fan some schooling on how you really fly a vanship? : ) On the episode, I definitely liked the second half MUCH, much better than the first half. Between seeing some old faces like Tatiana, Alister and that helmsman (who I think was a former mechanic), the awesome use of those listening posts for navigation after Fam had blinded the bridge, Tatiana's flying lessons, Tatiana totally ignoring Dio etc, the second half was definitely filled with awesome moments. Can't wait for the next episode. |

To me Fam is way to overconfident in her abilities, but I've not seen any evidence that she rubs it in others faces or or is a pain in the ass about it. In fact, in comparison to Tatiana, I'd have to say that Tatiana was the one who desperately needed to learn to chill regarding her flying skills when we first met her in the original Last Exile. Yes, the first half of this episode was slow, but I thought it was important. Without it (and a few things from the previous episode), Fam's declaration that she would assemble a fleet of stolen Ades Fed ships for Millia would have been rather random and out of the blue. Instead, we see that Fam's been building up to this sort of commitment for some time. |

| even if they recognize dio....there was no reaction at all. even so, they haven't really established a time line and how things fit together. we have a long way to go before we get the full picture. |
| I rated this episode 5/5 just for the mention of Lucciola. He was my favorite character and I was worried they weren't ever even going to bring him up in Silver Wing. So I'm glad Dio still misses him. (I also liked the line "when something tastes good, you have to show it on your face!" I was like ;~;) |

| I enjoyed the episode, though the homoerotic tension can be a little more than eye-rolling at parts. It was good seeing some familiar faces again, and I do like where the story is going. What disappoints me, however, is how strong the supporting (returning) cast is over the new, main cast of characters - Fam has yet to convince me as a solid protagonist, though I'm starting to warm up to Giselle considerably. It seems by next episode we'll finally get some fleshing out on the situation with Dio and the Sylvius that is so desperately needed. Also: what's the antonym for sausage fest? |

It's been known that he survived the fall, as could be seen from a piece of Murata's official artwork based shortly after the first series' end. Anyways, it would be really cool to see Claus and Lavi again - I'm sure they've gained legendary noteriety by now with the people of Prester, and it would be really neat to see their well-earned veneration among its peoples. I don't know if lending Tatiana a hand would be on their agenda as well, but we'll see. |

Claus and co. activated the ship and they returned to earth aboard the ship. You're jumping to conclusions. We don't know yet if all the ships are from Prester. |

| I think Dio's mention of Luciola pretty much made the episode for me. I won't lie, I think I shed a few tears. Makes me really happy to know that Dio still thinks of him. |

| Ah Tatiana looks less tomboyish now. XD Giselle's brilliant deductions were right on the money, the bottom part was a ballast but I was surprised when it did submerge under the water! I'm trying to guess where the main armaments was i.e. if it ever had one. |

Seeing some of the old cast made me happier than the first four episodes... Fam is pretty cocky, but I like her attitude. Kinda like a loli-version of Graham from Gundam 00. The Silvius brings back all the feels of the Silvana, though without Alex, it's just not the saaaaame. I'm still interested in how Dio plays into all of this. |
