| wow. that really picked up splendidly toward the end. FINALLY something to rejoice about with the serialization!! Everyones reactions were so priceless and I felt myself holding my breath and getting really nervous every time mashiro and takagi did too. really great series. 8/10 |

| This was a nice show. I was so focused on them wanting to serialize it that I completely forgot about that they originally meant to get an anime before he could be together with Azuki. Stupid me. I was surprised that another editor came in, I'm curious to know the reason behind it. I'm glad I watched it now; in one and a half months the second season starts, so I'm awaiting it. An 8 out of 10. |

Excellent series and the long distance love affair (if we can call it that) brings back memories of trying to keep similar relationships going when I was in my last year of high school and second year of university.... Let's just say that it is a very difficult thing to do, so those memories are bittersweet.... |

| Really enjoyed watching this series. Was nice to see how the whole process of manga works. Made me wish I could draw better and that I lived in Japan lol. My fav character was Eiji. Not sure why but I thought they were going to have him be some annoying mean character that would get in there way but he ended up being all nice. Gonna start the next season now, can't wait to see what happens next. Overall, I gave this series an 7/10. More romance would have made it an 8 for me. |

 Serialization! Finally! It's nice to see that phone talk at the end which takes back from the pilot episode. Inb4 marriage? Heh, I hope so. Well, this season was good and enjoyed it. 7/10 ...continuation of the dream! |

| From me it was suppose to be 8/10, but Azuki's romance logic, and simply the whole romance development between Mashiro and Azuki were ridiculous, unrealistic. That killed the series for me and score drops to 6.5/10 and I will generously round it up to 7/10. Sad to see Azuki acting this way since I really liked her at first. |

| Awesome series in my view. The plot, characters, and events made it really interesting. I have an idea how it is to be a mangaka and a seiyuu now. My respect for them has increased a lot from watching Mashiro and Takagi trying their best to become popular. |

| I don't know why I didn't heard of this anime back in 2011. It's so epic! I love this kind of anime. Would rate it 10 if there are more Mashiro x Azuki lovey dovey scenes. Moving on to season 2! |

| Azuki and Mashiro have a pretty messed up relationship... I'd laugh if the author just trolled us until the end of season 3 where they get together for about a week and then realize "oh shit, now that we're actually talking and getting to know each other I actually don't even like you". |

| Really awesome finish for this first season! Now that they got serialized things sure can get quite interesting and well with that kind of ending it sure was lovely and I do wonder when he'll actually go to Miho but well at last she called him so that's one more step to their dream! Either way let's see what the second season has to offer! |

| Great show. Really did not expect to like this so much. Solid characters, great pacing, overall good plot and I learned quite a lot from it :) Only things I took off points for was that the show lacked an emotional climax like other sports animes (Yes I am comparing this with sports animes like Chihayafuru) and that the characters were not as special, but they are very great. 8/10 Might bump up the score if the next few seasons aren't as good as this one. Will try and finish season two soon! |
| This show has possibly the best pacing I have ever seen in an anime. Characters are really top-knotch (Miyoshi, Takagi, and Niizuma were amazing) and the plot was enjoyable throughout. My biggest gripe was the facepalm-worthy moments regarding Miho and Mashiro's romance. Also, I felt really bad for Aoki; she's not being serialized because she is targeting the wrong audience. Very satisfying season. I'm looking forward to moving onto season 2. 8.5/10 |

| I really wish that Hattori didn't have to leave... he was in my top 5 characters in Bakuman. I really hope that Eiji and Fuduko continue to be a big part of the show. Really intense and suspenseful for me, since I haven't read the manga. I really thought that this anime was slow paced and a bit boring, but since the 8th episode I fell in love. 9/10 Overall only because I save 10s for perfection and the beginning was a bit too bland for me. |
| I laughed so much at the card joke xD Yay, they finally are published! Their work finally got some recognition. Miho finally have been able to overcome her shyness :3 Poor Fukuda and Nakai... At least, they took it well. That new guy really seem like a whole different kind of genius. To be able to adapt in one month to a totally new world, genius is even too low for that kind of level. Adn that end... Why Hattori, WHY?? I guess he got promoted. We'll see about that new editor, it will be interresting. |

| Well S1 was pretty good though I felt like I enjoyed it more during the first episodes. Guess I started getting tired of the whole Mashiro x Azuki weird romance. Besides that everything else was pretty interesting and I'm looking forward to S2. Also gonna miss Hattori being their editor, he was one awesome fella. 8/10. |

| I do not like Miura-san. Hattori is their ultimate editor, they work best with him. Can't wait to start season 2. This was a great adaption of the manga, but a few things bothered me (pacing, certain scenes) so this gets a 9/10 overall |

| Wow, I was really impressed with season 1. It took a while for me to get into it, like a good 7-8 episodes, but once it got rolling, I couldn't stop watching. I'll probably end up power marathoning the entire next season tomorrow. I'll have to give this a 9/10, solely because I thought the first few episodes were pretty rough and not to engaging. |

| The editor's meeting was one of the most nervous moments in this show xD Yay Ashirogi Muto finally gets serialized and Azuki finally talks to Mashiro again :3 Well, I thought the problem was the pacing, they could have covered a lot more in 25 episodes. It was interesting to know how people become mangakas and from what I've seen in these series it's really tough and emotional. Yeah I have more respect for mangakas now :) Also I'm going to miss Hattori being their editor, he was awesome lol. I really enjoyed this episode and the whole series! Loved it :D Can't wait for the 2nd season!!! |

| Miura? What's wrong with Hattori? Sad that Fukuda and Nakai's manga didn't get serialized but I can't say I'm sad about Aoki not getting serialized. Too bad Nakai is drawing art for her. |
