| God I hate cheesy stereotypes. It's just lazy writing, the bulk members of the HK triads don't go prancing around in old school clothing. I can forgive it if was comedy but it ain't. Another area where Cowboy Bebop showed class. |

| The set-up for this mini-arc is really out-of-place, one of the police investigators RANDOMLY bumps into one of her high school friends, who also HAPPENS to be daughter of some Chinese mafia guy, and she's on her way to celebrate her own birthday party DURNG THE VERY SAME EVENING, geez, talk about coincidences. |

| Great episode. I enjoyed seeing some of Kirihara's background as I enjoy her character. The complicated relationship between her and her friend Alice was a bittersweet twist. |

| Better episode than the previous couple for sure, nice seeing Misaki pull that Chinese dress off and Hei continues to be awesome in just acting according to whatever situation he is involved in, blending in the background really well like a creep. The art was probably the main thing that was the weak point of the episode though, character designs and faces were a bit wonky and inconsistent for sure, and the identity portion was a bit predictable. |
| I wouldn't call this episode better or worse. But yeah, betting Saitou will die next. Alice should have really shot Misaki before the lights went out. Rookie mistake So Misaki is gonna obviously survive this. They smuggled the stone flowers beyond the gate and Alice gets bee stung for no reason. And Li is always there to save the day!!! Fuck this episode |

| Alice is crazy, damn. I wish this anime would stop using that stupid "shocking" sound effect though. It uses it twice near the end of the episode here and it just sounds ridiculous. Reminds me of Mirai Nikki's counterproductive use of that generic stock suspense SFX that ruined so many otherwise perfectly fine scenes. |
