| I think main arc stories are my least favorite, they just seem to showcase how weak Natsume is on his own :( Ignoring that though, it was a good episode. |

| Quite interesting development although the atmosphere and pacing I so adored from the last season seems not be appear in this one or at least not in this arc... I do hope it comes back but well let's see what's next! |

| Really, Matoba thinks he can stop Nyanko-sensei. The kitty is powerful he was just holding back. Misuzu-sensei is like 2x bigger than Nyanko-sensei's wolf like apperance. I'd say he's the biggest youkai thus fa. Aww Touko-san pinky promise with Natsume. |

| Even when imprisoned, Nyanko-sensei still thinks of drinking and eating squid haha. The look on Matoba's face when Natsume and co. easily escaped was priceless. Think you're so powerful? Nyanko-sensei's like "nope." |

| Wow what a powerful way to start this season. Totally unexpected, but loved every minute (as usual~). I always enjoy seeing Misuzu too, one of my favorite yokai. |

| i love how hinoe and misuzu were there for the rescue. i want natsume to always be happy and with friends. nyanko sensei was great tbh. |

| The issue is resolved fairly quickly, without bloodshed, I thought the story had a more vibrant look during the clashes, instead prevails a calm atmosphere and quite diplomatic. There is a turning point in the relationship between Natsume and Youkai, now only them to defend him. Great Nyanko-sensei, but it's a constant. Interesting have clarified the question about the Book of Friends, Natsume is respected because it is seen as a friend and not as a rival. |

Take a good look, Matoba: You may be cool. but you'll never be flying over the moon with Youkai fan club cool. One of the most memorable scenes in the series. Natsume sure has come far, with some well placed punches and a whole lot of selflessness. |

| Natsume really is too precious for this world. It's just the most heart-warming thing to watch his friends be there for him and spend time with him after the hardships he's had with people and youkai in the past. Yet Natsume never becomes bitter or resentful <3 Matoba is pretty detestable but it makes him a good villain. I cannot wait for the day when Nyanko-sensei will teach him a lesson and put him down (I'm assuming this will happen at some point). |

| Good episode but Misuzu is right. Just imagine the number of situations Natsume could have easily avoided if only he had called Misuzu or Hinoe to help him. |

| This was a lovely introduction, now I'm not as mad that the studio put off this arc until Season 4. Still, I'm kind of surprised - I was under the impression that the finale of last season (3) was a filler episode set up for the TV adaptation, or at least it felt that way. Yet, the Dog's Circle is mentioned again later in the series. |
