| I've only rated one anime 1/10 if I recall correctly. It was the second season of an anime named Vampire Knight. Obviously it must've been aimed at women, but my god was it awful. For something to get a 1 rating, I need to have suffered through an entire season. I don't do it anymore since I just drop things left and right, but back when I was younger and I'd only watched <50 series, I would usually force myself to watch a series all the way through. Safe to say, that as a busy adult, ain't nobody got time for dat. Edit: Oops I actually have a second 1/10 in my dropped list. It was a recent one, Isekai Cheat Magician. I didn't even need to watch more than half the series to know it was a 1/10. Honestly so bad all the way through. It's like there are these amateur writers that want to copy something that was half decent but don't know a thing about writing a story. |

| The quickest way for me to give an anime a 1/10 is if it wastes my time. And by that, I mean an anime that starts off compelling and has you go all the way to the final episodes, and then just takes a complete dump on you. Like Beastars, I just gave that a 1 like last month. Because it was good, up until it got completely nonsensical at the end. It pisses me off when that happens more than if you're just terrible from the beginning. I won't even score an anime that's terrible from the beginning, I'll just drop it and move on. |
| For me is 5/10 black or white screen. I'm just not interested. I feel better satisfaction from looking at a wall. Below 5 I rate things which can lead to brain damage. Wouldn't even watch for money. 1 or 0 would be something like murder videos or child porn. I have never rated anime so low. |
| A 1/10 is reserved for something so disgusting I would gouge my eyes out before I watched it again. So, something along the lines of incest, child pornography, vore, or just... disturbing in a way that wasn't made for art, but for someone else's (perverted) pleasure. |

| It literally has to make me extremely angry in almost every aspect. The only 1/10 I had made me feel that way on the first episode, and this show is High School of the Dead. They only way I would come up with this setting is if I purposely wanted to create the most generic setting possible,since it literally have taken the 2 most overused settings of West media and anime: Zombies and Highschool. But not only that, almost every element of this series is terribly executed. Ecchi scenes not only are unecessary, but they feel extremely disgusting, with a big focus on panties and the character design being completely weird. Characters are, just as the setting, over the top generic and unlikable. And with all the extreme genericness going on, what do they characters do after they see zombies? They act suprised and shocked. As if the audience should have some kind of similar reaction when they see zombies for the 1000th time in any media... Seriously, fuck this show. |

| I apparently only have 2 shows rated as 1 despitr having a low mean score. Mars of Destruction is a freebie, but Vampire Knight? That's one that I could see people debating me over. The overall answer is that in order for me to give something like Vampire Knight a 1 it needs to click every single one of my negative buttons based on my personal tastes and leave me feeling genuinely angry after watching it. Normally I (And I assume most people) drop shows that do this to them but Vampire Knight was the one time that I did not. |

| A 1/10 for me is an experience like no other. It frustrates me to no end and it is absolute garbage. I don't have any enjoyment watching it. I could maybe think of a redeeming quality, but if it gets drowned out by how pathetic everything else is, it's a 1 |

| 1 is a very special rating for me. If I give an anime a 1, that means it was so bad, so lacking in quality, and so terrible in every single way that I probably laughed at it because of how atrocious it was. In the same way that a 10/10 anime means that every part of it was really good, a 1/10 anime means every part of it was downright awful. In fact, achieving a 1/10 could be considered impressive, because unless the production and direction of anime was a complete dumpster fire, it's quite rare for something to be THAT bad if any degree of effort was put into it. The only things I have or will rate a 1 are all the anime memed for how goddamn horrendous their plot, storytelling, visuals, and characters are such as Skelter Heaven, Hametsu no Mars, Garzey no Tsubasa, and the Boku no Pico trilogy. |
| I try my hardest to not give something a 1/10, but two have really worked hard to get to the bottom of my list. I have quite a few 2s, but that's just because they were cringe-inducing and had pretty poor plots. My 1/10s happen when I morally cannot accept what the shows are portraying (i.e pedophilia?? basically incest??). Big no-no's in my opinion lmao |
