DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- So this arc seems to even give other members of Sasuke's former Hawk team. It's actually kinda refreshing to see Suigetsu return. A very underrated character imo. The new theme songs are okay I guess. |

| New opening sequence, I like it. And I knew that bird guy's bad news. He just gave off that ominous vibe from the moment he first made an appearance (not because Boruto thought he was a peeping Tom); he was too nice, too perfectly dumb & naive to not be hiding his mad scientist persona underneath all that crazy-slash-weirdness he has going on. |

| At the middle of this episode, they kinda sent signals that the bird guy was the mastermind of the whole thing. Predictable episode. I still think Karin is Sarada's mother no matter what they tell you. I think Sasuke and her had sex, but for some reason she gave her up to Sakura. She knew she had no future with Sasuke and believed Sakura was the best option for him, chose to serve Orochimaru instead and create her own family in Jugo and Suigetsu. |

| Great new OP and ED, both song and visuals are great, especially love the ending song, but there's no villains yet, why don't they introduce the Kara members already and throw them into the OP and ED. Episode overall was pretty nice, happy to see Suigetsu and Karin. |

| An actually decent episode. I hope it's all upwards from this point onwards (it can always get worse though). | Yeah what a bird expert have to do anyway with Juugo ? I'm expecting that twin has some special jutsu like the Sound Four. So that means with Shinki and the gang showed in the opening has nothing to do with the story, so why the heck they put them on the opening? |

| What about the researcher who tried to backstab Tosaka in his sleep ? Betrayal everywhere ! xD At first, when they recovered Sumire, I complained that Karin could have healed her in a second. Then she mentions that "Hey, I can do the same thing as in the previous series, but let's just wait, we're in no hurry after all." Well, they are in a hurry ! FFS, they could have shown the Karin's abilities a bit. I hope they show some of Karin's battle skills as we never seen them before in Shippuden. That part was frustrating. This arc has some great points but it is too predictable for my taste. I hope the fights will be fine though. |

| It was somehow a bit obvious that the bird expert would be an enemy when the research team let him only go together with Jugo. Nice to see Karin and Suigetsu again. I am glad Karin have let the hair grow. She looks better with equal hair length on all parts of the head, and not like a punk she looked like in the Shin arc. The new hair style of Suigetsu also looks nice, but I liked the old one better. Since this was only a build-up ep. the action will be in the next. About time we saw a new OP and ED. Although I highly doubt we will see the events happening in the OP, it still looked nice. It would be good if we could see more action from Boruto, Sarada and their fathers. |

| The dude literally licks feces; how do you not find that suspicious? Anyway, hopefully Suigetsu is just faking it because...?? Yo dude, Suigetsu usually knows what's what. Meanwhile, wuuuuh SuigetsuxKarin was always my secondary OTP back in the day, so I'm really happy to see them interact more. ;O;; She called Suigetsu and Jugo her family!! OO': Omg! Man, you have no idea. I had to fan myself at that point. Like they pretty much hated each other at first so they've come such a long way! But not even gonna lie, their interactions low key seem like they're in a relationship. I mean Suigetsu seemed to cave into Karin pretty fast for a guy who'd take pleasure in cutting people's limbs off and spent a crap ton of time bugging the shit out of her/getting in the way of her and Sasuke. But gosh, Karin's so cool. Wuuh. ;A;; We really needed her back in the day. Like, yo, Anko was hella cool too and had a similar vibe, but Karin's got this fun edge to her too. I love it. <3 |

| Not sure why a Foliage bird expert would be involved in curse mark research with the Land of Rivers?! Hope the explanation doesn't disappoint. Quite enjoyed the new OP and ED, felt traditionnal. |
